Jun 3, 2014Having an issue on 8.1 where when the phone is asleep and you press the power button it takes 4-5 seconds before the screen comes on?

Feb 17, 2015I'm not sure if this is related more to Denim update or enabling "Hey Cortana" but now, when I press the power on button I see the top indicators show up immediately, then after about 10 seconds the rest of the main screen displays.. Subsequently, pressing power off/on will resume immediately, but after a few minutes the same behavior occurs again.

Jul 18, 2015Updated my 1520 to the latest TP. Full format post update, etc. Got everything up and running. Cortana. My goodness. It opened every few seconds. I got to the point that I hated using the phone at all because Cortana would just launch, interrupting anything I was doing. Almost went back to 8.1 until I remembered to check the screen sensitivity settings. Yep. Win10 sets it to high for some reason. Changed to normal and it's worked tremendously.
Go to settings and Extras. You will find an old 8.1 menu there. Change in "touch."I was about to throw this phone across the room. Now if they would let us disable the search button all together or require a ~3 second press and hold to launch Cortana. Until then, for the love of god set sensitivity to normal to keep Cortana at bay.
Lumia 1520 :: Screen Taking 5 - 6 Seconds To Rotate
Mar 31, 2015I have an unlocked 1520 running Denim(not Preveiw for Developers). For some reason whenever I switch to wide-mode and back the screen takes at least several seconds, sometimes 5-6 seconds to rotate. Is there any way to get the screen to rotate faster?

May 1, 2015I'm trying to transfer videos and music to and from my 1520.
I plug the phone into the USB cable, the phone software launches, select explorer, navigate to my sd card, wait for it to refresh, goto the camera folder and wait forever for thumbnails to draw. When I start to scroll through all the photos and videos, I barely get to the videos I want to transfer on to my pc.
Most of the time I give up and upload them to onedrive and download them, which is just stupid way to transfer files.

Jun 28, 2010This is a major harassment for me because I send and recieve a lot of email and SMS on my phone. When I open the Mail app, I get no responce for 10+ seconds, then the app "opens" but will not respond for atleast 20 seconds, often with the titlebar still showing my today screen. This also happens when I'm in a message/conversation and just hit "ok" to go back to the list of messages/conversations, it's atleast 30 seconds before I can select anything. Anyone know what's wrong? I only have 6-7 conversations on the page and 10 or less emails on that page. Rebooting the phone only makes a minor difference in speed. Have not hard-reset because I dont want to lose all my contacts, apps, etc.

1. ringtones is very slow after 2secounds, but all other notification works good.
2. today for first time wen checked with earphone both music and in call it works in both earphone and as while as phone.
3. i could not use camera after second day only back camera, problem was if i take any photo it would saved in only black or in preview it would be black. both problem raised with lot of heating in back.
so decided to repair with pcc, i had activated myxperia. i disabled it did repair but after repair phone was locked and it was showing my id or password was wrong. so i searched in forum and decided to wipe phone in myxperia, unfortunately in myxperia it was showing locked but i could not wipe. i was getting an error saying that faied try again. after keeping set a side for half an hour it took my id and password and restarted. now i have disabled myxperia but in myxperia still it is showing device is protected. if i try to see location it fails same has earlier.
After repairing from pcc i have not seen any problem in camera except over heat after taking 3or 4 shot.

May 6, 2012Why is this happenning? I am facing lot of problems in my SE Neo V mobile. I updated my phone officially last week. The problems are serious and so irritating. The older version of android 2.3.4(Gigerbread) was gud when compared to this newer version of ICS. I am Facing these problems.
1. My phone dialer is too slow and takes more than 5 econds to open a dialer.
2. Unable to forward messages since it gets stuck in the contacts adding option itself when I use the forward option. And it must be Switched off and On to get back to home screen. Or else i cant message any 1 else.
3. Anything being copied to any folder using Computer show a message saying that The device is currently being stopped and cannot copy files.This is the most irritating part that i encounter always.
4. Any game like HD is not woking. It either crashes down or the application doesn't get opened at all.
can anyone please tell me How to fix these errors?? I am really Facing so many problems like these with the newer Version of Android ICS 4.0.3.And i read that using sony PC companion and also update service setup v could fix these bugs.. But doing this will expire the warranty of my phone??

Sep 20, 2013I have been experiencing some pretty bad battery life with my 1020. It was getting to the point that with moderate use it was in battery saver mode within 8 hours. I shut off many background tasks, turned off 2 of my 4 email addresses and did some testing. In standby mode the phone dropped from 69% to 55% in about a half hour after a restart. Exasperated I turned off Double Tap to Wake after noticing the 'drains battery' warning. I then charged the phone and went to sleep. Today, with similar usage as normal (about an hour of streaming music, 2 push email accounts, web browsing, texting, etc.) I made it 8 hours and only dropped 39%.
