How to clear up the whatsapp sent media in my phone.
Previously in android, i used to just delete the sent media from the file manager. Since the folders of windows are not accessible, so i dont know how to delete them in my lumia 1520 windows phone.
My whatsapp auto backup to my SD card everyday. That's 1 file a day (15MB each). It's eating away my storage.

1. In the whatsapp application, when you choose "take a picture" in the attachment tab, the camera flash always light up for focusing even you inhibited in setting.
2. When using lumia camera, cant share photo via whatsapp in the pic review tab.
If you backup restore your data from DP8.1 do you retain all of your whatsapp conversations data and groups? I want cyan but need whatsapp to remain as is..

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy notifications for both Whatsapp and Viber do not work. I've tried resetting my phone, I've tried deleting the apps and re-downloading them but yet nothing works. The actual apps do not appear in the notifications + actions, as an option. I cannot turn on the notifications at all ! When I open Whatsapp I receive a message saying the following: Whatsapp detected an issue with your phone that will prevent you from recieving new message notifications. Please reboot your phone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedDid I miss the memo that says deleting lo-res photos will somehow not allow one to open the hi-res versions? I have the 1520 connected to my Windows 7 PC (via USB) and wanted to keep the hi-res versions only, so I deleted the lo-res ones. The hi-res files still appear as physical files in file explorer with multiple megabytes but no preview/ thumbnail (same as before). I can't transfer them to an empty folder on my Desktop or to Imgur, nothing happens, not even an explanation. I checked my recycle bin and the lo-res files are no where to be found.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI recently had to wipe out my BB completely and my office IT restored the main databases.Unfortunately, I now have to reinstall again all my third party applications that I used to have (the backup file I have in my personal PC does not show the applications so I can restore them).Looking at the folders in my media card, I realize I have a lot of files related to those previous applications and wonder if I should delete them before installing the same applications again. Original configuration , no insiders preview.Whenever we browse through whatsapp , whatsapp freezes and reboots the phone. We uninstalled whatsapp , reinstalled but that hasnt worked at all.
On my Lumia 950 ive noticed keyboard to stop working inside whatsapp and eventually causing phone to reboot. I am not sure whats causing the issue. Issue is on Wifi as well as cellular data. Its affection both 950 and 550. Today whatsapp update did not fix the issue.

how to migrate WhatsApp chat history (from WP 8.1 to Win10 Mobile)? I would like to know the procedure in details. Seems that Windows Phone native backup does not backup/restore WhatsApp chat history, and the backup/restore function of WhatsApp seems not working at all.
When I press on the video, it loada as if it will download but then stops, tried so many times! File size is 2.4mb. Strange that videos have worked before though.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSince a couple of weeks im a proud owner of the Lumia 1020, and installed the WP 8.1 update yesterday.
When i was on WP8, i had issues with voice recording in whats app, the output on it is noise.
I synced my google account and all my google contacts popped up on the people app and did the same with my hotmail account.
Now when I try to refresh my contacts in Watsapp I see nothing, but most of my contacts use watsapp. And when I recieve a contact over watsapp from a friend of mine and when I try to save it, the people app asks me where do I want to save my contact in which account (hotmail or google)? is it normal? Cause I am not able to save it on phone directly and I guess watsapp wouldn't take the contacts that are stored in a account, it has to be on phone.
So how can I get all my contacts into watsapp?
