Is there a guide to using the various camera apps on the Lumina 1020? Just got a 1020 to replace a broken 920. At first it had the Pro Camera app. Then I saw an email saying that the Smart Cam was replacing the Pro Cam app. However, the Smart Cam does not seem to work well in low light.
View 3 RepliesToday when out golfing I tried taking some smart cam photos and noticed after taking a couple in a row I couldn't go back and open them in Nokia camera to change the picture. Doesn't happen all the time but twice today I couldn't edit the photo.
View 9 Replies View RelatedSo I recently just replaced my Lumia 1020 with another 1020 because it wasn't able to make or receive phone calls. When it did, it connected to 2G and wouldn't switch back to LTE. I just got my new 1020 yesterday but now the keys on the screen won't like up unless I cover the sensor new the ear piece. I don't want to have to do that every time I use my phone and I'd rather not do a hard reset since my other phone is still resetting as I type this (going on 17 hours).

I cant set focus manually cause the screen is almost black, the pics come out nice except theyre blurry. I dont have alzheimers so my hand dont shake and I tried many settings. How to make them okayish ?

View 19 Replies View RelatedWhenever I try to take a picture in low light example of a candle or a bulb I see a dot in my field of view which moves as i move my phone. It becomes worse when I try to capture multiple lights say for example an array of LEDs. It is very irritating to find something like this on snaps taken by such a good camera phone. What can be done about it? As you can see in images attached just above the switch board on wall in 1st and 3rd image and on edge of cupboard in a close up shot in 2nd image.

He says that everything is fine during the day and when he is taking indoor low light pictures with the flash, but as soon as he take outdoor picture he is getting some kind of red blur in the top center of the photo, he sent me two examples:
His phone is on 8.1 and he is not sure is it software or hardware related.
got my new 1020 yesterday and update it all the way to the Denim update. I'm not sure if it caused by that, but now I can't make Voice messages on WhatsApp or facebook massager or voice search..
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've got a black 1020 (Carrier: Bouygues Telecom) that can't work with Black Update. When I update it, my phone breaks down. (When I run an app, there's the loading screen then back to the homescreen or the phones freezes).
I've try to hard reset, the problem is still there because when you hard reset, I think the update is still there. So i've try to reflash it with my carrier rom to have it like the first time i've had it in my hands, the phone works fine.But if I tried to update it to Black, the same problem shows again.
Since a couple of weeks im a proud owner of the Lumia 1020, and installed the WP 8.1 update yesterday.
When i was on WP8, i had issues with voice recording in whats app, the output on it is noise.
I dropped my phone from my car and now the macro setting doesn't work. and it doesn't autofocus. :( I have warranty except I did the gdr3 update. lol...

1) In Camera Mode:----
OIS works with Auto Focus
OIS works when we manually set focus to infinity
But OIS doesn't work when Focus is on Manual.
However In Video mode,
OIS works in all 3 cases, i.e. OIS works whether focus is Auto or to infinity or Focus is Manual.
Let us request Nokia to look into this matter and release an update to Nokia Camera app to fix this issue.
No problems until recently. I've noticed at Home & Work where I spend 90% of my time the WiFi has not connected (and I end up using my Data Plan). So once I notice it I have to connect manually and its fine. Both networks show up in advanced at "known". Is this a "bug" caused by a recent update?

View 2 Replies View Relatediv recently bought an lg g3 and once setup I found out that it included something called smart unlock which allows me to unlock the mobile with my face.Now I went into settings - general - security - trusted agents - and enabled smart lock ( google)then went into display - lock screen - smart lock - and turned on trusted face, did that setup and made sure I had my pattern setup
then I turned the screen off and turned it back on but it doesn't show anything to say its looking for my face, it just shows the pattern thing...iv restarted the phone - still doesn't work..iv even factory reset the phone ( as asked by o2) - still doesn't work.

If I encrypt my device if Smart Lock locations and bluetooth devices will still work? I want to make sure because if I encrypt and it *doesnt* work then I'll need to factory reset and start all over.
