I've taken some cool videos and would like to be able to capture a single frame and make it a picture without having to export the video and work on it elsewhere. I just can't find the button or process.

I am just using the video player that came standard with the camera app. Is this the standard samsung video app? There is no settings option or capture option. Video editor doesn't take screenshots either.

Pressing the camera button does bring up the camera in 8MP mode-Yay!-which is a work around for the normal camera icon resorting to WS mode everytime the phone is rebooted or the camera app cleared from RAM.
View 1 Replies View Relatedafter this week update I'm not able to add this widget to my screen. I used to have it but deleted it. When I went back to put it on I get a message that I can only have one PicFrame widget on my homescreen... i went ahead and rebooted the phone and still the same. So I decided to clear the Home Data, to bring it back to stock, it let me add the widget but it wouldn't show any pics.. so I deleted it to try and add it back and got the same error I was getting befofe.... Can anyone else try to add the widget, delete it, and try adding it again? Any partial fix comes to mind. I think that the HOME app is locking data into memory and not releasing it... maybe that's why when I deleted the HOME DATA I was able to put it back.. but now is not letting me...

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I'm having my Nokia Lumia 710 from 2012 February. I tried to record videos but there are 2 different ways how my phone handles it. After making a video, it freezes (The screen freezes, the last picture of the video is visible, it's probably saving) and than, the video is gone. The phone locks itself, and the video+music library doesn't contain my video. The phones saves my video (happened only a few times...), but when I'm looking it back (on PC and on phone) it's lagging, and pictures fall out... Seconds fall out from the video, but the sound is running. The picture freezes sometimes, and the sound is running.

View 3 Replies View Relatedthe xoom is meant to be capable of doing 720p at 30fps. This is so not the case. If you look at the playback the recording looses frames and gitters badly. I would say it is more around 15-20fps on average. also the video doesnt seem sharp at all as if the auto focus doesnt work well or is off. but the still camera focuses fine. Will motorola be addressing this issue in the ics update or are they intending on fixing this issue at all. If the camera is truely capable of this frame rate where is the bottle neck? transferring to flash memeory? can motorola make an auto focus slide control on screen selecting in options to turn on and off from manual to auto fofus. this would be good in camera mode. as you can see from the video frame rate drop and video blur. not 30fps..

When I switch to the video camera everything is fine, but as soon as I hit the start recording button it immediately freezes up. I really hate this phone because of this problem.I did a reset of the phone then also I had the same problem last week.I want to know whether this problem is because of the memory card or firmware. View 1 Replies View RelatedI am facing a problem when I capture a picture/video with my new Nokia 5233 phone I bought yesterday.
1. When I try to capture a video, nothing is visible on the phone screen. I click on Record button and the shooting starts and then I click on it again and it stops. But I when it tries save the video it gives an error "Unexpected error occurred. Please restart your phone".
2. I reboot the phone. But I face the same problem. I face the same problem while capturing pictures.
I have tried following as a measure to solve the problem but no success till now:
1. Reboot the phone: tried it more than 20 times. Does not work
2. Soft Restart: Removed the battery for 1 minute and powered the phone back. Does not work
3. Restore Factory Settings: Restored the phone to factory settings. Does not work.
4. I checked my firmware version. Its 12.1.089, RM-625. I think no firmware upgrade is available at present
Please advise what steps should I follow to cure the problem.Please also let me know in case you are facing a similar problem with your device.
