Jul 28, 2010I've just transfered all the data from my damaged 8350i to the refurbished 8350i they sent me. I have also switched the SIM card - and most everything worked fine. EXCEPT NO PICTURES, VOICENOTES, VIDEO, etc. on the new phone. Now however it says 'Insert Media Card'. I DID have a media card in the original phone, I thnk (at least the BBDesktop Manager detected one). But where/what/how sihould I handle this?

Apr 6, 2015I have used sony xperia z2, problem is that any video or picture saved in phone memory (internal) is not viewed in gallery, but if i take picture or video from camera which also saved in internal memory ( default) is viewed in gallery, and also if i received picture or video over bluetooth which also saved in internal memory is also not viewed in gallery, I have to go file manager mode then cut the content from internal and paste it to sd card than the content is viewed in gallery...

Oct 20, 2012Dropped the X8 and killed all but a postage stamp in the left hand corner of the screen.Stupidly no backups or syncs of my contacts anywhere.The sim phonebooks ok but will not show the data correctly on the borrowed samsung.
I would like to transfer the Sim data to the Sd card in the x8.The touchscreen still works even though I can't see much info,I can open phonebook.then in menu i see bottom three buttons as imp/ send/? there appears to be at least one above these.
I assumed imp to be the import button if I continue by selecting this I get a couple of buttons.export to / export to and I presume the bottom grey one to be cancel.However there at least one above these I cannot see. Perhaps someone could let me know the layout of these screen and which is the export to sd button.

Aug 18, 2015Just a few minutes ago, my phone alerted me to have my files (photos and videos) to be transferred to my SD card. I did clicked it I thought everything would be alright. But then upon transferring my datas all the dates and times of the photos are all messed up I'm not sure what happened there, but I was confident that this wont be mixed up or something.

Jul 23, 2013I get notifications on my phone that the internal storage is 95% full (most of it will be spotify, which wont tranfer to my SD card aswel)
The problem occurs when I press the Transfer button;
"Transfer interrupted. Check your SD card for possibly transferred data."
I tried formatting the SD card, booted in Safe mode & searched in File Commander for illegal file names.
It worked before, I have an SanDisk Ultra 32gb MicroSD HC installed on my Xperia Z3.
My device is up to date running 5.1.1 (23.4.A.1.264)

Dec 14, 2014Don't fall in this trap and let the phone move data from internal memory to SD card to free up space as it can be interrupted for some unkown reasons and end up losing your data. ( Interruption in my case was screen auto lock i believe )It happened to me yesterday when it was moving the pictures and all of them are gone now.
I contact the customer care and they said to format the SD card What i found that the capacity of SD card increased and a folder called LOST.DIR was shown there..

Dec 2, 2014My internal memory is about 75% full so I bought a 32GB SD card.
When I go to Settings -> Storage -> Transfer data to SD card nothing happens at all. No error message, dialog or notification appears.
I have seen what is supposed to happen form instructional videos.
I can see the SD card is present in the storage menu with approx 29GB free, and I can view the card in ES File Explorer.

Videos and music is transferable but not photos, it quits immidiate with message that transfer is interrupted and that I should check for any data.

Most of these applications have consumed most of the internal memory. some of the applications do not get transferred to the SD card and are only retained in the SD card. now when i want to download new applications or update current applications, it says the memory is full. how do i transfer the applications to the SD card from the internal memory and download fresh applications. The applications are not visible when connected to the computer. Moreover, many of the applications are pre-set when the phone was purchased. Will the phone work if all the applications are transferred from the internal memory to the SD card.
