I've recently noticed that some app that i was able to transfer to my sd card can't be trasferred any more like flipboard etc. and when i update my apps its either i get a error mesage package file is invalid, invalid url or insufficient storage space but my phone memory has a lot if free space

View 5 Replies View RelatedThe problem is that when I try and transfer music to my 32gb microSD card on my HTC Desire S, the music appears to delete itself. I connect it, drag and drop in the normal way and it copies normally. I then disconnect the phone and when I try to play the music it isnt on the menu on my phone. I reconnect the phone and the music is not there when I browse to my computer. Have tried 2 separate memory cards, and in 2 different HTC phones and still get the same problem.

I would like to transfer the Sim data to the Sd card in the x8.The touchscreen still works even though I can't see much info,I can open phonebook.then in menu i see bottom three buttons as imp/ send/? there appears to be at least one above these.
I assumed imp to be the import button if I continue by selecting this I get a couple of buttons.export to / export to and I presume the bottom grey one to be cancel.However there at least one above these I cannot see. Perhaps someone could let me know the layout of these screen and which is the export to sd button.
Just a few minutes ago, my phone alerted me to have my files (photos and videos) to be transferred to my SD card. I did clicked it I thought everything would be alright. But then upon transferring my datas all the dates and times of the photos are all messed up I'm not sure what happened there, but I was confident that this wont be mixed up or something.

The problem occurs when I press the Transfer button;
"Transfer interrupted. Check your SD card for possibly transferred data."
I tried formatting the SD card, booted in Safe mode & searched in File Commander for illegal file names.
It worked before, I have an SanDisk Ultra 32gb MicroSD HC installed on my Xperia Z3.
My device is up to date running 5.1.1 (23.4.A.1.264)
Don't fall in this trap and let the phone move data from internal memory to SD card to free up space as it can be interrupted for some unkown reasons and end up losing your data. ( Interruption in my case was screen auto lock i believe )It happened to me yesterday when it was moving the pictures and all of them are gone now.
I contact the customer care and they said to format the SD card What i found that the capacity of SD card increased and a folder called LOST.DIR was shown there..
i have been trying for a while now to free up storage on my phone in order to solve the problem and have even inserted a new 4gb memory card into the phone, and have been unable to store apps to the sd card, to free up space on the internal memory of the phone. also i have been unable to direct downloading apps to be saved in the sd card instead of the phones memory.i have a funny feeling though that there is a fault within the phone itself.

When I go to Settings -> Storage -> Transfer data to SD card nothing happens at all. No error message, dialog or notification appears.
I have seen what is supposed to happen form instructional videos.
I can see the SD card is present in the storage menu with approx 29GB free, and I can view the card in ES File Explorer.

Once the internal memory starts to get full, it asks to transfer to the external SD drive.

I've rather standard micro SD card for my z2, when 75% threshold is reached it suggests moving stuff away from the phone. Videos and music is transferable but not photos, it quits immidiate with message that transfer is interrupted and that I should check for any data.

Most of these applications have consumed most of the internal memory. some of the applications do not get transferred to the SD card and are only retained in the SD card. now when i want to download new applications or update current applications, it says the memory is full. how do i transfer the applications to the SD card from the internal memory and download fresh applications. The applications are not visible when connected to the computer. Moreover, many of the applications are pre-set when the phone was purchased.
