Xperia Z3 :: Disable (Transfer Data To SD Card) Message
May 5, 2015
This message is useful once, and then becomes pointless and annoying. I'm not going to install an SD card, and I'm not going to delete data when I still have multiple GB free. How to disable this silly message....
How to disable A-GPS on Xperia Mini Pro SK17i to avoid data transfer while roaming? (And accept longer GPS fix)
Is this: Setting > Location & securiti: uncheck Use wireless networks and leave only Use GPS satellites.I want to just disable the A-GPS but not all data transfer (Internet, mail, ... on demand)
Dropped the X8 and killed all but a postage stamp in the left hand corner of the screen.Stupidly no backups or syncs of my contacts anywhere. The sim phonebooks ok but will not show the data correctly on the borrowed samsung.
I would like to transfer the Sim data to the Sd card in the x8.The touchscreen still works even though I can't see much info,I can open phonebook.then in menu i see bottom three buttons as imp/ send/? there appears to be at least one above these.
I assumed imp to be the import button if I continue by selecting this I get a couple of buttons.export to / export to and I presume the bottom grey one to be cancel. However there at least one above these I cannot see. Perhaps someone could let me know the layout of these screen and which is the export to sd button.
Just a few minutes ago, my phone alerted me to have my files (photos and videos) to be transferred to my SD card. I did clicked it I thought everything would be alright. But then upon transferring my datas all the dates and times of the photos are all messed up I'm not sure what happened there, but I was confident that this wont be mixed up or something.
Don't fall in this trap and let the phone move data from internal memory to SD card to free up space as it can be interrupted for some unkown reasons and end up losing your data. ( Interruption in my case was screen auto lock i believe )It happened to me yesterday when it was moving the pictures and all of them are gone now.
I contact the customer care and they said to format the SD card What i found that the capacity of SD card increased and a folder called LOST.DIR was shown there..
Ive had my z2 for a day and my memory is at 75%. I've managed to transfer my photos and videos to the sd card but it won't let me transfer my music. It says "transfer interrupted. Check sd card for possibly transfered data"...
Currently touring overseas and internal memory was getting filled with media, transferred to SD card but found an empty folder after completion. Is there any way to find the lost media or reattain them? I really hope there's a solution as I lost quite a few hundreds of photos...
In the storage section of settings on my Xperia Z2 there is a "transfer Data to sd card" option. it use to work just fine. Once the internal storage was awfully full and came a notification that said "75% full, transfer data to sd card" tried it like always but this time it fails to start. When I try to run it from inside the settings, also fails to start.
I recently got a message saying that my internal storage is 75% and whether I should move it to the SD Card.
This message has occurred a number of times before and I have successfully transferred files to the SD card each time. However, during the last transfer I somehow cancelled it halfway through the transfer.
Now when I try to transfer again, I get the error 'Transfer Interrupted. Please check your SD Card for possibly transferred data.'
I bought a 16gb MicroSD card for my 5230 Nuron. How do I transfer everything from the original 4gb card to the new card? I've downloaded some apps and themes and I want to make sure they get transferred to the new card. I tried doing a full backup and restore using Ovi Suite and some of the downloaded apps made it and some didn't. I tried to re-download some of them from Ovi Store but Ovi Store seemed to think they were still there and wouldn't let me download them again. Is it as simple as copying the contents of the old card to the new card?
i would loke to knoe where i can enable and disable th gprs/edge data transfer. i.e. I am using limitted internet acess with 50 hrs inter net usage. Now i dont know when it connect i could not use it very well. i want to enable/disable when ever i need. I checked connection manager but it does not give any option no active connectionarul
Frequently, a couple of seconds after ending a call with someone on my 5800, the screen is filled with the message "packet data connection active" for a moment. The message won't go away by clicking on the screen. The only way to force it away is by clicking the red button, but that would also take me away from whatever menu or application I was at, so I'd prefer not to do that. Also, I don't want to change to connectivity settings per se, (as seen in, for example, this topic: [URL]). Rather, is there any way to disable just the message?
1) How can I save/keep/transfer all Messages and Notes when I put my SIM card into a new iPhone?I have done that but only some of the Messages and Notes are there on new phone.
2) Also/or: are all Messages and Notes saved on my Mac whenever I Sync / Update it? And if so, WHERE on my computer do I find them? The Apple site says to be sure to Sync phone "to keep all data" (of course) but I want to make sure that includes ALL Notes and Messages and know where to find them on my computer to truly save and access them. * I have a 4S and the newer 4S with Siri. I am going to give the 4S to a daughter and keep the 4S with Siri.
3) Will the Genius Bar people help me with this if I can't myself, or do I need to go to AT&T (gag)?
One day I recharge my prepaid to $20. Next day I woke up and find out android OS has used all my data! I did search about this and alot of people is having this too. But can't find any solution.
I know this thread is a year old, but I have to drag it up again as it seems Motorola haven't dealt with this problem yet. I have owned a Defy since a few weeks. I have a German vodafone contract which gives me a data roaming flatrate for several countries including Italy, where I am a lot of the time. And this roaming warning is driving me insane!! It pops up about 50 times a day (I live in an area with weak connection, so my phone loses the network sometimes, but finds it again after a few seconds, and up pops this warning), turns the screen on, drains the battery. It also pops up continually while I am driving and using the phone as a navigator, so I have to continually check "yes" so I can see the screen again, which can be pretty dangerous if you are driving on winding mountain roads...
Is there a way to disable APN without disabling data traffic? I have seen some different apps doing it, but how can I do it manually? I ask because I only use wifi and not 3G.
I just upgraded my Xperia Mini from Gingerbread (Gb) to Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS). Recently, i'm facing some difficulties where my Data Traffic suddenly disable after i close my browser or any app.Fyi, i used packet data and i leave my phone connected to the internet without restriction in case ther is any update / email / notification pop up. So now, when this things occurs, i have to enable back my data traffic everytime it disable.
I realised on my mobile that once i activate airplane mode with the mobile data on, it doesnt disable the mobile data. It is still on while the wifi turns off.
Off late I have noticed my phone rejects an incomming call by sending a message without my knowledge (the phone is usually in my pocket). I have tried to delete the template messages, but I could not.
I have a Mac, I can connect to my Xperia using it's hotspot, but that's where it ends. There is no transfer of data, no Web page will open on the laptop. I'm sure it use to work. I've done searches, tried going through settings on both mobile device and laptop with no dice.
Just about to transfer contacts etc from iphone to Z5 compact, do the contacts, pics etc only get copied from the iphone to Z5 or are they completely removed from the iphone?
seems a bit odd but my phone uses a lot of battery when i'm checking facebook, reading the first page of news updates and posting a status takes about 5% battery. i know setting the network mode to GSM only helps a lot but slows internet down and i hate waiting lol , so i'm just wondering if there will any improvments to this in future updates? 5% battery for 5 mins on facebook isn't spectactuar.
