Dec 27, 2012So I'm having my Nokia Lumia 710 from 2012 February. I tried to record videos but there are 2 different ways how my phone handles it. After making a video, it freezes (The screen freezes, the last picture of the video is visible, it's probably saving) and than, the video is gone. The phone locks itself, and the video+music library doesn't contain my video. The phones saves my video (happened only a few times...), but when I'm looking it back (on PC and on phone) it's lagging, and pictures fall out... Seconds fall out from the video, but the sound is running. The picture freezes sometimes, and the sound is running.

Mar 13, 2012the xoom is meant to be capable of doing 720p at 30fps. This is so not the case. If you look at the playback the recording looses frames and gitters badly. I would say it is more around 15-20fps on average. also the video doesnt seem sharp at all as if the auto focus doesnt work well or is off. but the still camera focuses fine. Will motorola be addressing this issue in the ics update or are they intending on fixing this issue at all. If the camera is truely capable of this frame rate where is the bottle neck? transferring to flash memeory? can motorola make an auto focus slide control on screen selecting in options to turn on and off from manual to auto fofus. this would be good in camera mode. as you can see from the video frame rate drop and video blur. not 30fps..

Aug 27, 2011after this week update I'm not able to add this widget to my screen. I used to have it but deleted it. When I went back to put it on I get a message that I can only have one PicFrame widget on my homescreen... i went ahead and rebooted the phone and still the same. So I decided to clear the Home Data, to bring it back to stock, it let me add the widget but it wouldn't show any pics.. so I deleted it to try and add it back and got the same error I was getting befofe.... Can anyone else try to add the widget, delete it, and try adding it again? Any partial fix comes to mind. I think that the HOME app is locking data into memory and not releasing it... maybe that's why when I deleted the HOME DATA I was able to put it back.. but now is not letting me...

Jun 25, 2014I received a replacement phone from Apple and have been trying to restore everything that was in the previous phone. I did the routine manual backup to iTunes (not iCloud) from my old phone before I gave it up to Apple and then restored that backup to the new phone but the photos don't seem to be appearing.
Keep in mind these are photos I only shot on my phone, I never imported them into iPhoto and I last remember having Photo Stream turned off. I thought doing the routine backup in iTunes automatically backs up everythingon the phone including photos. My phone is running iOS 7.1.1. I really hope they're not gone forever. Is there somewhere in my machine (mid-2012 MBP, OS X Mavericks) where they're hidden?

Oct 19, 2012This makes the volume rocker and frame look "rough", when I think that's just the camera and flash accentuating ribbed nature of the volume rocker Anyway, does anybody else's look like this around the volume rocker? I can actually push it back in just a tad on the top side of the rocker, but not on the bottom.
If this is the way it is, well, so be it. If it's not, and nobody else has this issue, I'll be exchanging it later. I've done nothing to this phone but hold it in my hand and set it on my bedside table. The VZW rep put it in their black hard-shell case, which is very tight and hard to get off, but other than that, this has been babied during the whopping 16 hours I've had it.

Ive tried selecting "Include videos" under the photo sync tab. Then I tried syncing it to my iphone as a movie under the movie tab... That worked except it was in my Videos app and not back in the factory photos app where I need it to be!!!how to get Videos back to the Photo app like I can do with the Pictures???

Jun 26, 2010This was shot and edited in 720p entirely on an iPhone 4 using iMovie. I received my iPhone 4 in the mail a day early and my friend didn't want to go wait for his alone, so I decide to go along and document the entire event with my new iPhone's HD camera. (Some of those in line were noticeably annoyed at my use of the new phone while they waited, but I tried to conceal it as much as possible). We got to the Santa Barbara State Street Apple Store around 5:30am and were about 25th in the reservation line. I had a ton of fun, and am so glad I went, Apple really knows how to release a product, maybe next time I'll just reserve it rather than get it shipped. EDIT: So I learned some tricks while editing that I thought I should share those for others playing around with iMovie
I typically work within Final Cut Pro when editing video, so going into iMovie I was met with several limitations, but I figured out a few workarounds for most of the issues I faced: Titles remain over an entire clip, so if you want titles just to appear at the beginning of a clip, (Like seen at the very beginning of my video) you must trim the end of a clip to the length you wish. Then import that same clip again, and trim the beginning to the length of your first clip. Make sure you remove the crossfade as well......
