How do you change your start up picture/video, i have a new phone from O2 network and had it unlocked so i can use 2 different sim cards in it when go to france. and it still plays the O2 logo on start up, i would like just a blackberry start up or something, can it be easily changed??

I've just transfered all the data from my damaged 8350i to the refurbished 8350i they sent me. I have also switched the SIM card - and most everything worked fine. EXCEPT NO PICTURES, VOICENOTES, VIDEO, etc. on the new phone. Now however it says 'Insert Media Card'. I DID have a media card in the original phone, I thnk (at least the BBDesktop Manager detected one). But where/what/how sihould I handle this?

What baffles me - in the manual I can't find how to change the start-up screen (Nokia) or better, how to block it. This was possible with my old one, but with this one?
To make matters even more complex.it used to be a T-Mobile model (I'm no T-Mobile subscriber) and the menu differs even from the (very short) manual.
I have uploaded a video to my n97 that is about 20 mins long. It's an mp4 file format but when I play it it'll play for about 5 mins then the picture will either freeze or go black but the sound will continue to play, so I basically have sound but no picture?

I really hate this phone because of this problem.I did a reset of the phone then also I had the same problem last week.I want to know whether this problem is because of the memory card or firmware. I have noticed that on the video camera you can not zoom in before you start taping. Some of my friends have noticed this too. I was wondering if we are going crazy and you couldnt zoom on froyo either or if you could zoom on froyo and if there is a fix for it.

I am facing a problem when I capture a picture/video with my new Nokia 5233 phone I bought yesterday.
1. When I try to capture a video, nothing is visible on the phone screen. I click on Record button and the shooting starts and then I click on it again and it stops. But I when it tries save the video it gives an error "Unexpected error occurred. Please restart your phone".
2. I reboot the phone. But I face the same problem. I face the same problem while capturing pictures.
I have tried following as a measure to solve the problem but no success till now:
1. Reboot the phone: tried it more than 20 times. Does not work
2. Soft Restart: Removed the battery for 1 minute and powered the phone back. Does not work
3. Restore Factory Settings: Restored the phone to factory settings. Does not work.
4. I checked my firmware version. Its 12.1.089, RM-625. I think no firmware upgrade is available at present
Please advise what steps should I follow to cure the problem.Please also let me know in case you are facing a similar problem with your device.

I have a storm 9530. I downloaded a movie in avi format but when I play it, it only plays audio-no picture.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI updated the software on my phone a few weeks ago, which resulted in the phone turning itself off constantly. However, when I take a picture it looks as if its saved, but when I go to the media files a little later all I see is a picture icon not the actual picture.
When I use the video camera it seems to save and I have been able to view once or twice, but after a period of time the file turns into a music file with no video. This has resulted in several videos of my baby daughter being lost and being replace by the same music.
I have followed the advice on the forum by deleting .dat files from the folders. This has resulted in the pictures taken since the upgrade disappearing altogether. The only way I can keep a picture is by emailing it to myself instantly.
I bought my Torch 9800 two weeks ago and my video camera works fine, very fine, but I cannot take a picture when I change to camera mode. Just appear a black screen and the button stay in gray color (disabled).

I have several videos and pictures i want to put on to my computer off my phone and vice versa but when i plug my phone in and it pops up open folder to view files i cant find them in mass, phone or memory card memories, when i go on the phone in files there not in there either btu there in the gallery if i open it up for detailes it has the date for the name, description and if i click on location it just says unavailble.
