For some reason I am unable to change my bbm picture. I have tried everything. Back up... restore... uninstall.. redownload... I even wiped my phone and restore everything but bbm to see if it would work and it wont.
View 9 RepliesI'm using the bold 9700 and have had it for about 3-4 months now,and been using blackberrys for a couple of years,so I'm not new to them.Bbm for some reason won't let me change my default pic,I can see myself that it has changed but is not coming up on the updates,and I have myself added to check and no change.I've had a few broadcasts off my contacts saying the same thing,pictures aren't changing.so I rebooted,they started working and stopped again,now rebooting isn't working at all.And I've read a couple of posts about contacts pending for a while.I have spoke to people(in real life) who I've added and have accepted but according to my phone,they are still pending.

View 9 Replies View Relatedmy job requires me to travel a lot to different countries quite frequently, which also requires me to constantly change to the local sim card for the country that i am in. Whenever i do this, right after the phone fully loads up, it asks me to sign into blackberry ID which i cannot do since i do not always have the BIS/Data active on the local simcard (it doesnt make sense to pay for BIS for every country i visit esp since i could only be there for a few days). Even if i wanted to activate it, i cant go past the log in screen which only allows me to make 3 options...1. Login (which i cant do without data). 2. Make an emergency call?

I've never really felt a need for so much resolution for casual pictures. I can't always easily resize to send in email and I have no need or desire to take up so much storage.
