Is there anyway of changing in the camera app the default picture viewer it opens up with album still? The album viewer open all pictures from non camera folder which I am not comfortable.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm using the bold 9700 and have had it for about 3-4 months now,and been using blackberrys for a couple of years,so I'm not new to them.Bbm for some reason won't let me change my default pic,I can see myself that it has changed but is not coming up on the updates,and I have myself added to check and no change.I've had a few broadcasts off my contacts saying the same thing,pictures aren't changing.so I rebooted,they started working and stopped again,now rebooting isn't working at all.And I've read a couple of posts about contacts pending for a while.I have spoke to people(in real life) who I've added and have accepted but according to my phone,they are still pending.

How can we change this to another filename mask, like "YYYY_MMDD_hhmmss xxx.jpg" (example: 2011_0801_091612 123.jpg) or any other format of our choosing?In addition, are there any other field masks that we can use beyond the YYY, MM and DD and time fields?
View 1 Replies View RelatedWith the E52, I can view a photo (with geotag) with the default photo viewer. Select "Option/Show on Maps" and it will automatically opens up Nokia Maps showing where that photo was taken. And to navigate to that place.
With the N8 photo viewer, there isn't any such option. Is there any apps that could do that?
I can't believe that I can't find such a setting. Did they hide it? I fear it does not exist.
I've never really felt a need for so much resolution for casual pictures. I can't always easily resize to send in email and I have no need or desire to take up so much storage.
Where do I go to change the image quality for the camera on the htc one? I need to lower it and for the life of me I can't see where. Seems like a pretty basic feature, would be shocking if it didn't exist.

It has been happening for several weeks now...When I transfer the photos to my laptop via USB (before you ask, I have tried as USB Mass Storage, PC MODE, and Windows Media Sync) and try opening them, I get the message 'Window Photo Viewer can't open this picture because the file appears to be damaged, corrupted, or is too large.' I just now figured out today how to get the Motocast application installed and running, and it synced up ~400 pictures from my phone to laptop.
However again, when I try viewing any of them on my laptop, I get the message. I have been emailing the photos from my phone, but for some reason that stopped working today also. I go to the photo gallery and do a multi select>Share>Email, and the draft is created. I see the photos attached, put in my email address, but the email never sends...it just pops up with an orange triangle next to the subject and says Send Action canceled. Not sure what all information is needed...software is updated, is a RAZR MAXX, my laptop is Windows 7. About 65 of the photos/videos appear to be in Internal Storage and the rest are on sD card.
When taking pictures with the camera, the pictures are saved in a default folder. I want to change that so when I'm at work, the pictures can go into a work folder. And when I'm taking pictures on trips, the pictures can go into a trip folder.

I am on newest build and I noticed that I am unable to change the "default" sound for notifications. It looks like no matter what sound I will choose and apply (click "ready" after selecting), it will be still with "Sirius" ring. It is a bug as it is in fact showing I have totally other ring selected for notifications but it does not work.

View 2 Replies View Relatedonly got the phone a week or so ago. Just goes to show how often I do use the camera button. Although I might not use it all the time, I would still like the button to work. Especially if I want to take pictures on the rain or underwater.
So basically the camera button does not take the picture but it does focus. Also camera does not open when you press the button.
So I have updated my ray to the latest OS version just during last weekend and there a things that I would leave (like led button sms notification), but there is that thing that outruns all: save path for camera pics is in internal storage, which means I can take, like 3 shots and that's it. I also can't view them with my Xperia Gallery viewer. Can't change save path to SD card.

My camera seems to have corrupted autofocus functionality "it seems to be locked on infinity and I cannot focus on any object. I know that autofocusing should normally be triggered by long-tapping camera button in the default application, but it never happens". I always get red focusing mark and a blurry photo.
This behavior is observed on both 2.3.3 and 2.3.4 with default application, Camera ZOOM Ex, Camera 360 and lgCamera. I tried every focusing setting (auto, infinity, macro), but no luck. I also tried to clear application data for Camera app, but it didn't give any results either.
I opened service menu > service tests > camera, and after tapping on screen I got a message: 'Autofocus failed, taking picture anyway'.
Here's an example of my photo: As you can see, it is of quite poor quality. It was taken from approximately 25-30 cm above surface, with 'Macro' focus settings and other settings in default state.
i just updated my xperia active to android 4 and the camera is kind of "not working". I do not get a picture from the camera on the screen (i can see the buttons, etc.). This happens independent of using the camera app, camera app in video mode or magnifying glass app. I can shoot pictures, but I can't see, what I am aming at or focus...
