When I am changing the contact picture from contacts in my Neo V 2.3.4 Ginger bread.It is just opening gallery for selecting a new picture but after selecting it's just simply showing the same old pic instead of setting the new picture

I buyed sony ericsson xperia mini pro few months back. at that time i synced my contacts with facebook with facebook app. And i got all my friend's profile pictures as my contact pictures. But now when i changed my memory card i also formated my phone. I took backup of contacts on sim card. after installing new memory card i imported my contacts back to phone and synced facebook once again with my phone contacts. This time they got synced too but their facebook profile pics are not becoming my contact pictures. I also tried enabling facebook inside xperia but still it didn't worked. I want to get them done as quickly as possible.

It would be nice to give each group a different picture instead of the grey head outlines that are next to each group. When I go to Edit Group, it only lets me change the name. I have a 5800 that I have been troubleshooting for the past Month. We have been to the provider who has now replaced the phone twice in the past two months. Calling out appears to be fine. However when customizing the phone I am unable to set picture and a ringtone to a contact in the contact list. The Contact is saved on the phone. When the person dials in the picture will display correctly but the ringtone will play a default ring not a custom file as selected. This has heppened on all 3 of the phones. I am down to the OS of the phone which the provider says is up to date.
View 4 Replies View RelatedAfter having gone a couple of months withs with Gingerbread without any problems to report I started experiencing a strange thing with incoming calls, texts, emails, etc.For incoming calls, the number displayed is the correct number but the screen pulls an incorrect name from my contacts list and displays a picture (taken from either LinkedIn or Facebook profiles) that is from a third, different contact.So the number is for Contact A and is the actual caller, the name that is displayed is contact B and the photo is contact c.If I go to make an outgoing call, the same thing in the inverse occurs.I choose Contact A and it dials contact A but displays it is calling contact B.This has caused me to have to double & triple check when I am making calls to ensure that it is calling the right contacts.
A similar thing happens for texts, incoming texts display the correct number from which they are originating but display that they are from a different contact name.When I go to send a text and enter a number it indicates that it is sending it to the correct phone number but with a different name assocaited with that number. Finally, something similar is happening in email messaging. If I hit reply, while the actual email address is correct the contact name that it lists is incorrect.
I'm NOKIA C6-00 users, use it heavily on MESSAGES MANAGEMENT (SMS - GATEWAY) for communicating with customers.How can I change NUMBER-ID to CONTACT-ID after I SAVE-CONTACT the MESSAGE from that one person.( I save the MESSAGES number and given the name : Mr.David , but when i look back, the MESSAGES still shows his number not contact-id. Wouldn't be so bad but it has me in there too and I am twice her size so I see me. Yes I know what's the big deal, you know who's calling, but it is aggravating that this is happening every time she calls me. View 4 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading to OS 6 if I select Send - Messenger Contact the picture is delivered into the bit bucket but not to the selected BBM contact. Conversely if I select Send picture from within a BBM chat it will send successfully. The recipients are on an 8900 Curve with OS 5.A side note is that sending an item no longer requires the recipient to accept the file as with OS 5.

From Gallery/Picture i can get the list of options from which I pick "Set as" then "contact icon" it then asks to select from ASTRO or HTC people.When I "select contact" it says that no contact matches? Could it be that contacts need to be saved from SIM onto Phone?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have pix saved on my S2.I save the pix to one of my contacts.I have followed the instructions to the letter (per the Help app).I close the Contacts app, go back in and the pix is gone from the contact I saved it to. Went to a VZW store and the rep said that it might be due to the "Global" network setting. He changed it to the VZW network only.This has fixed it for the most part but I still have pix disappearing from time to time.I have to end up going back in and re-saving them.The VZW rep also said it might be a known issue and to call Cust Serv or a software problem with MY S2.Anyone heard of this problem or of a fix? I would appreciate any input.

Is there way to make it the full screen? I'm thinking this is only Verizon? My boyfriend has AT&T and his contact picture shows up full screen when someone calls him.
