View 2 Replies View RelatedI have X10 mini Is there a way to put timestamps on photos (date and time) that sticks on the photo right away as pic is taken? Kind of like it does in an older SE w810 or something? Its like light green numbers in the right bottom corner that sticks to the photo right away. Phones like the SE w810 had this feature in the camera that could be turned on or off. Is there any app like this for x10 mini and other Android phones?
View 5 Replies View RelatedOn all SE phones I've had, the timestamps on my photos and videos has always been wrong, mostly by an hour or so. If I record a video at 7 pm, it says it was recorded at 6 pm. Same goes for photos.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am playing around with the features in the camera app and noticed that the time on the stamp feature shows am instead of pm, but the time the photo was taken is correct.

Before I did importing (from iPhone to computer), everything was fine - all photos/videos were right there on my iPhone. I simply used "cut" - "paste" from Windows File Explorer, and then I found that all the photos and videos after certain date were all gone. They are not in the iPhone, neither in my computer. Luckily all the recent photos are automatically kept in "Photo Stream", so I managed to save them all to the "Camera Roll" and then I could still import them to the computer. However "Photo Stream" does not save the videos, so now looks like I lost those precious videos forever!!  There is another weird thing: after importing, some video files still remained on my iPhone which are unplayable, and the notification said "the requested URL was not found on this server". To ensure I don't lose anything, I still moved them to the computer. And the result is predictable: those video files cannot be played on the computer either, regardless by which player I am trying. I think I am not the only one here. I see another post iPhone 5 some photos and videos disappeared from a particular photo onwards and three videos left are not able to be played and are saved as 0:00 files but I cannot reply.

Tried to copy photos from my Note 5 to Nexus 6P however, the date on the photos are off and sometimes unknown. I tried to transfer it wirelessly and through OTG cable but no luck.
What is the correct way to transfer photos without losing its date?
So, when using most camera apps, the EXIF data (specifically Date Taken) is not filled in for any picture taken with this phone. Is there a way to enable this field? I have tried at least 4 different apps and was hoping the ICS upgrade would do it, but no love. What is up with this major failure?
With all the digital media in my life, I have automated a lot of processes to organize and make things consistent, so when I find something that makes the job harder, I really loathe it.
My old phone used to save picture/videos with full dates (eg. "IMG_20120513_215914"), while my new one (the HTC One) saves them with just sequential numbering (eg. "IMAG0004").
Is there any way to change this? I much preferred knowing when my pictures were taken.
Can change it so pictures are named by the date they were taken instead of "IMAG0___"? I get conflicts when trying to add pictures to my computer or digital picture frame due to them having the same name and for some reason, I'm not able to do duplicate with (2) after it. I've had old devices name pictures by date and loved it. That way I know when the picture was taken.

I have them all backed up to Google Photos and don't need them also on my phone.
How to set to visible photo taken date and time for Photos in Camera setting?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an Sony Ericsson Elm phone. I use the camera a lot, and I miss the date+time stamp on the pictures. I have searched the menu, and the user manual. Could anyone tell me either of this two: Is it not possible to get a date+time stamp on the pictures? If it is possible, how do I do it?

View 4 Replies View RelatedOn several screenshots that were sent to me from my friend's iPhone, the clock would say something like 7:57pm in the corner. That time matched my time as well.. But when I view details of the image, it would say 9:57. Now the tricky thing is, my friend was in a different time zone earlier that week and would have been 2 hours ahead of me if she were still there, but she was supposedly back in my state at that point. Is something wrong with my phone or did she change the time of her clock to match my own, while in reality she's still two hours ahead and my "details" section knows the truth?
View 1 Replies View RelatedUnlike my previous smarthphone, actually unlike all mobile phones I have used, when I receive a SMS the Xperia Ray puts a timestamp when the message was received and not when the message was sent.
Since I swithch off the phone at night it can be very confusing and annoying when messages come in and are not put chronologically. It can also happen when you have no coverage and when it takes time, sometimes hours before the message gets through.
