I took some photos today on my S5 and even reviewed some of them straight away, but now they are missing. I definitely didn't delete any but I can't find them in any folders. Is there a way I can get those photos back again?
View 24 RepliesLast night I noticed that all my photos taken by my camera are gone and only 2 from the last week are left :-( I had backed up my files about a year ago and didn't delete anything. Is there any way to recover the missing photos. I also have installed DiskDigger and it says my device is not rooted.
View 7 Replies View RelatedOn 1st January 2015, I took some photos and videos in my Samsung Galaxy S5. I went to view those photos and videos in my gallery. First few times, the photos and videos were there. After some time, I went to view the photos and videos again in my gallery. Suddenly the photos and videos I took on January 1st were missing but photos I took before January 1st 2015 were still there. I'm sure I didn't delete any of the photos. Is there something I can do about?

View 12 Replies View RelatedI just updated my iPhone 4s to the newest iOS5.1.1 to my horror, my photos in my camera roll are all missing.
I backed up and everything before updating but my photos are gone. I've rebooted it, restored it several times but it won't work.
My lockscreen and homescreen wallpapers are saved in my camera roll previously and they're still present.

I just recently backed mx iP5, so I can restore my new iP6 from it, all went well messages, notes, apps etc, also all albums with photos I had are there, but, there are missing photos from like 2 months ago in camera roll, but they are in moments/collections, every one of them. I just dont get why most of the photos restored to its place but those last ones from 2 months ago.. Is there any way how to move them from collections to camera roll?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI changed my phone to a camera device on the phone itself so I could choose to import my pictures to my laptop. God forbid its that easy. I opened the folder full of my imported pictures and the folder is just full of random stock photos. None of which were actually on my device. It did manage to copy a few pictures that were actually on my device but even then, it made hundreds of random copies of the same 10 photos. Doing this on my old iphone would've taken 30 seconds. As soon as I my upgrade comes back around i'm most definitely going back to apple. I've had nothing but problems with this phone. I wouldn't even have had to upload these pictures to my laptop if I wasnt going on my 3RD device in the same year.

And it was not so low lighted situation. It was pretty bright actually. Outdoors it seems fine but indoors it's has more noise then my S3. Is this normal ? And front camera is definitely better on S3.

The preview pic on the bottom shows the full pic but when you look at the full photo the grey box appears. When you flip through the photo, the full photo appears very quickly then the grey box appears.

View 1 Replies View RelatedFor about a month now I have been unable to take photos with my rear facing camera. When I take a photo using the default camera app it looks like it saved the photo and when I go to look it is a black and white image of a human. It does however save a thumbnail of the picture sometimes. I am able to take pictures (like a selfie) with the front facing camera though successfully.
Here is a screenshot of what my issue looks like. This is after taking a photo with the rear facing camera...
Currently, I have to take pictures with Snap Chat since its the are the only other camera apps that I have on my phone and of course, the quality of those photos are terrible. I can also take a screen shot of the photo as well, but obviously that's not good either. All of these methods save to the SD card.
I have a friend that had the same issue a while back but his works now.

So I recently noticed that when my flash is switched off on my galaxy S5 and I take a photo l, the photo is great. Then if I turn on the flash and take photo it looks like the photo is in negative, but it's red tinted almost like old photos before you had them developed. The photo after that is perfectly normal.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI got the galaxy s6 edge about 2 weeks ago, and noticed that when I tried to take pictures with my front camera the pictures look very weird. Like everything is too bright and my face looks like i have a ton of make up on or i have been airbrushed or something. It is just very weird. I have tried turning the beauty setting to zero and turning HDR off. Still has not fixed the problem.
The back camera does not have this issue, it takes nice pictures. Also, my s4 front camera did not do this, it was a very good front camera. So i feel like the s6 front camera is a downgrade, what happened?

View 12 Replies View RelatedI've had my Samsung Galaxy S5 (verizon) for about two months. I just ran into a problem where many of the icons are missing when I bring up twitter. For example, when I'm at my home page, if I look at the menu bar near the top of the page, I see the words ""Home", "Connect", "Discover", "Me", but the icons above each command are missing. Also, the avis in my feed are missing.
If I click on a specific tweet, then the poster's avi does appear, but the icons for retweet, reply, favorite, etc. are completely missing. However, if I touch the screen where they should be located, the commands do work.
Rebooting the phone (off/on) did not work. And this is not affecting any other apps that I have noticed.
I have a G920F and I noticed that the call alerts menu is missing. I looked under Sounds and Notifications menu and in the phone app. After a google search I learned that many are having the same issue. So now I cannot set the minute beep or the vibrate when pickup, hangup notification and all the rest. Is there any way I can get them back?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung Galaxy S6 on the EE network in the UK. I should have the option to use wifi calling but the option is not present in the settings menus. My phone was not originally supplied by the EE mobile provider, instead I purchased the phone which appears to have come from Italy and has the Italian mobile provider TIM (this is shown on the CSC code on the phone)
How to either change this CSC code to the UK one for EE or at least the generic one for UK specific firmware, or a way of somehow enabling the wifi calling feature - I did look this up but I can't edit the necessary system config (xml) files as they are read-only and my phone is not rooted.
I got a Galaxy S6 Edge a couple of weeks ago. Everything was as it should be until a few days ago. The phone icon went missing and it's not listed with in the apps area/drawer. However, when I check under Application Manager, its shows three phone applications which seem to be dupes. They can't be uninstalled or disabled. I've done force close and restarted the phone but no luck. I'm using Nova Launcher. I just got the the phone set-up the way I wanted so the the thought of a factory reset makes me queasy.

Yes, I have screen rotation turned on. The other apps rotate.
Transferred from a GS4 to new GS6E, and the woman at Verizon couldn't take the time of transferring my photos. So, she gave me my memory card that was in my GS4, and said "it's easy to transfer from here to the new phone". Ummm, not so easy. I downloaded the pics to my Mac desktop, but even with a USB cord, the phone isn't accepting the photos.
