i dropped my samsung s6, in a thin rubber case, down a flight of concrete stairs, the screen is cracked from top to bottom, the back of the phone has also cracked, almost shattered, the camera glass is missing, slighly dented on one side, looks almost bent a tiny bit, maybe a millimeter or two, it wont turn on and when plugged into my computer is unresponsive, all i want is the gallery of photos from it
View 1 Repliesmy samsung galaxy s2 broke down on me a week ago. How this happened was that I saw the ota update being available for downloading so I proceeded to download the update. Now, when it got the update and it automatically started to install, The phones battery died (inthe middle of the installation). when i charged it up and turned it on an error message comes up after the samsung logo saying the package installer got an error and now wont let me use the phone at all ( it freezes up after the message). I tried restarting it but the same thing happened. the phone is now unusable. i visited a phone stor asking if they could repair it but no, they couldnt. what to do? send the phone in/swap it out?

("points d'accs wifi" in french so i 'm not sure if it's "hotspot" or not)And now, i can't unable wifi anymore.When i try to switch the wifi toogle "on", it automaticly goes "off".

The only way to get into my phone when turned on is to push the switch off button for about 3 seconds and then the phone will ask me to unlock it. This is kind off annoying because I'm not used to using the phone like this. I don't know how this happened. The only reason I can think of is that a few weeks ago I was pushed and I hit a wall with the phone in my pocket, this broke my g-key. The key did not fall off it just stopped functioning. This used to annoy me too but I learned to live with it. My question now is, will blackberry still repair the phone if I send it back ?

2 days ago my phone randomly looses signal, (I'm in the middle of London in location at which I would normally get at least 4 bars 'H' signal), I wait for 10 minutes still nothing so I try and turn it off, the phone freezes/gets stuck with the 'phone shutting down' message on display.At this point I decide to just take the battery out and put it back in, after doing so the phone will not turn on what so ever. When I get home that evening I try to charge it, nothing, no lights and still won't turn on.
Taking the battery out again, followed by the sim card and memory card I notice that the memory card has a crack in it, all the way across and just under the gold contacts. I think nothing of it as surely this couldn't have happened while it was in the phone and must have been there the whole time, so put everything back in and try again. Nothing. Open it up again and take out the memory card, leaving it out this time I try again and the phone starts up.So Sony Ericsson,

Transferred from a GS4 to new GS6E, and the woman at Verizon couldn't take the time of transferring my photos. So, she gave me my memory card that was in my GS4, and said "it's easy to transfer from here to the new phone". Ummm, not so easy. I downloaded the pics to my Mac desktop, but even with a USB cord, the phone isn't accepting the photos.

First few times, the photos and videos were there. After some time, I went to view the photos and videos again in my gallery. 1. Entering in the google account user name and password
2. Signing into Find My Mobile with the samsung account information and unlocking the phone
If both of these options fail due to the owner not remembering there above credentials is there any other way to retrieve photos. How about putting the phone in dfu mode and using a program on a computer to copy photos from the internal storage. Is something like this possible?

And I also tried Dropbox in new galaxy s5, all the photos are doubled. one is original and other one's are duplicate (few Kb's). I had around 900 photos from iPhone to new galaxy s5, but in Dropbox- total photos are around 1700. Is there anyway I can delete duplicate one's easily.
secondly, drop-box setting is "sync via WI-fi". even if i don't click any new picture or video, its still backing up every-time. at one point it says" up to date" after few hours it syncing again.
So I got a new Samsung Galaxy s5, and transfered an SD card to the phone. I decided to move all photos from the SD card to the phone, and some seem to have dissapeared during the process. Have checked all the folders in the phone, but still cannot find them.

All of the recovery apps I've found won't work on files lost before the app was installed, and the only Windows based programs I've been able to find require the phone to be recognized as a USB device, which doesn't seem like an option for the S5. She also doesn't know her password anymore since she never had to use that again. I know it is possible to recover the phone but then it will also remove all the photos.
