I have a G920F and I noticed that the call alerts menu is missing. I looked under Sounds and Notifications menu and in the phone app. After a google search I learned that many are having the same issue. So now I cannot set the minute beep or the vibrate when pickup, hangup notification and all the rest. Is there any way I can get them back?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI want to prevent the "pop-up banners" from Google Hangouts from interrupting other programs and overlaying on top of the app that I am running. I still want my phone to vibrate when I get a notification from Google Hangouts.
I understand that there is supposed to be a menu choice under "Sounds and Notifications" called Interruptions. I do not have this choice.
I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport and I am running Lollipop 5.0.
Whats noise reduction on the call menu? What does it do and how do u switch it on or off?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've bad echo on voice calls my friends tell me whenever they ring.... As in they can hear there own echo. everything is ok my end. I installed villaintweaks 1.3.1 as I was told there was a fix fire this. I installed the noise cancellation fix.... But still it remReally would like to get this echo. I don't like having to keep pressing menu-noise reduction off during every call.Also notice that if I remove my protective case the echo disappears completely....but I don't want to leave the phone unprotected.Also, is it possible to fully remove villaintweaks and all of its data(and tweaks that I installed) from the phone? Would a normal uninstall work, or would I have to do something else.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen my phone is dark, in sleep mode after a timeout, I am not receiving any alerts/sounds when I receive an email. The LED light doesn't even light up. I receive alerts for Text Msgs & other "messaging" type apps, just not email. Immediately upon waking up the phone & authenticating, I get the Alert sound & the email msg pops up. This was an intermittent issue prior to the 5.1.1 update (which I had hoped would fix), but NOW it happens every time & is thus worse than before the update. I have tried several email APPS - and they all behave this way. Currently I have K9 Email installed. (I have WiFi enabled & Smart Wifi Search enabled).

ALL of our phones were in "Do Not Disturb" mode with the only exclusion list being a couple family members' phone numbers. There is no option to block system update alerts in the middle of the night. There is no slider to select/deselect that. It seems like this would be a pretty basic option.

View 12 Replies View RelatedMy menu button loads my 'phone' and not the menu for the phone. I cannot access the menu that includes: hide, move, open tray etc. I cleaned up the phone and uploaded the newest software via the BB desktop application software. I ended up cleaning it up so well it seemed to go back to factory settings as I lost all my apps. It seemed to solve the problem though and I got my menu button to work properly again. I have since uploaded App World and a new theme. The button still worked properly for 24 hours. Today, I turn it on and all is working well but the menu button loads my phone again. Do you understand that the menu does not load, but rather the 'phone' menu pops up as though I'd pressed the phone icon. I wonder if the 'flex ribbon cable' underneath the buttons is misaligned somehow and when I press the menu key, it is loading the green telephone key menu because of malfunction of the ribbon.
View 1 Replies View RelatedA couple weeks ago I put a needle (needle and thread) on my phone screen for like 2 seconds, the needle rolled to the side and went between the screen and he side of the phone, as I tried to get it out it went in further and was pushed behind the screen on Saturday I took the phone a part, managed to get the needle out and put the phone back together. Once it was back together I switched it back on and now the call/menu/return and end call buttons are not working. They do click when pressed but they don't actually do anything anymore. So I retook the phone a part just to make sure I didn't snag anything or move anything to which I found I had not.

I am using Xperia X10iFirmware 2.1 - Update 1 Base Band Version 2.1.54 Kernel 2.6.29. Whenever i get a missed call, i do have the notifications but i am unable to see the name or the number. It will show the last dialed or the received calls.It is frustrating and i have sent a mail to the support but heard no response from them. I am not sure if anybody else is having this problem or not but for sure i am facing this problem.

I have a MESSAGES folder in my screen when I hit the menu button and in this folder, my missed calls, my bberry messenger (contact my contact by text), and my email is synchd.There as well as in my chosen home screen folders. I understand my email being sent there but my missed calls go to that folder only as well as some of the messenger texts as I stated. I have to hit the menu button, then open a message folder with a mixture of different types of messages and then I have to search for my missed calls and messenger texts in a mix of email. Why are missed calls going there and my messenger text?

There is no wifi menu, when i tried to connect via Suite, phone didn't show me suite, in mass storage usb it shows me total memory is less than 1 mega, and when i try to enter other applications like "My Nokia" i get "Not allowed now" message. Is the phone locked or something? Can i fix it or should i take it to a service?

Messy software, awful sound, horrible build quality with lights comig from everywhere. But lately I found another problem with my mobile. When I create a new message, in the messaging menu, I don't have the option to create a MMS message. All the options I have are ''message (sms) / audio message / avatar sms / e-mail''. No signs of MMS creation option. I tried to uninstall the ''avatar sms'' software to check if the MMS menu would appear but still nothing. I've check the MMS settings and all the settings are ok, but still nothing in the messagin menu to create a MMS.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to disable notifications from the calendar app - but the context menu is missing - nothing happens when I pust the menu button. A second symptom is that when the notifications appear, there are no buttons to snooze or dismiss.
The background is taht I have upgraded to android 2.1 and installed a few different calendar apps to get a better widget. I ended up with Gemini and uninstalled the other apps and widgets again.
