View 2 Replies View RelatedI have X10 mini Is there a way to put timestamps on photos (date and time) that sticks on the photo right away as pic is taken? Kind of like it does in an older SE w810 or something? Its like light green numbers in the right bottom corner that sticks to the photo right away. Phones like the SE w810 had this feature in the camera that could be turned on or off. Is there any app like this for x10 mini and other Android phones?

View 2 Replies View RelatedOn all SE phones I've had, the timestamps on my photos and videos has always been wrong, mostly by an hour or so. If I record a video at 7 pm, it says it was recorded at 6 pm. Same goes for photos.
View 5 Replies View RelatedUnlike my previous smarthphone, actually unlike all mobile phones I have used, when I receive a SMS the Xperia Ray puts a timestamp when the message was received and not when the message was sent.
Since I swithch off the phone at night it can be very confusing and annoying when messages come in and are not put chronologically. It can also happen when you have no coverage and when it takes time, sometimes hours before the message gets through.
Quick question regarding the 'Gallery' App. Is there a way to sort the photos by date taken? Currently everything is all muddled up, seems to be in no order at all.

Before I did importing (from iPhone to computer), everything was fine - all photos/videos were right there on my iPhone. I simply used "cut" - "paste" from Windows File Explorer, and then I found that all the photos and videos after certain date were all gone. They are not in the iPhone, neither in my computer. Luckily all the recent photos are automatically kept in "Photo Stream", so I managed to save them all to the "Camera Roll" and then I could still import them to the computer. However "Photo Stream" does not save the videos, so now looks like I lost those precious videos forever!!  There is another weird thing: after importing, some video files still remained on my iPhone which are unplayable, and the notification said "the requested URL was not found on this server". To ensure I don't lose anything, I still moved them to the computer. And the result is predictable: those video files cannot be played on the computer either, regardless by which player I am trying. I think I am not the only one here. I see another post iPhone 5 some photos and videos disappeared from a particular photo onwards and three videos left are not able to be played and are saved as 0:00 files but I cannot reply.

My camera died and I heard the Droid Turbo had a great camera so I killed two birds with one stone. I purchased a new phone and got a great camera at the same time. Now the problem. I must have date taken on my photos. I don't print photos, I send them to other people. How can I get date taken on my photos?
View 2 Replies View RelatedTried to copy photos from my Note 5 to Nexus 6P however, the date on the photos are off and sometimes unknown. I tried to transfer it wirelessly and through OTG cable but no luck.
What is the correct way to transfer photos without losing its date?
So, when using most camera apps, the EXIF data (specifically Date Taken) is not filled in for any picture taken with this phone. Is there a way to enable this field? I have tried at least 4 different apps and was hoping the ICS upgrade would do it, but no love. What is up with this major failure?
With all the digital media in my life, I have automated a lot of processes to organize and make things consistent, so when I find something that makes the job harder, I really loathe it.
I'm used to just having everything on a memory card which is not option here obviously.
View 5 Replies View RelatedOn several screenshots that were sent to me from my friend's iPhone, the clock would say something like 7:57pm in the corner. That time matched my time as well.. But when I view details of the image, it would say 9:57. Now the tricky thing is, my friend was in a different time zone earlier that week and would have been 2 hours ahead of me if she were still there, but she was supposedly back in my state at that point. Is something wrong with my phone or did she change the time of her clock to match my own, while in reality she's still two hours ahead and my "details" section knows the truth?

View 1 Replies View RelatedRight from day 1 the display date of my E52 does not update and reflect correct the correct date. Got the phone replaced once still the same issue. Called the customer service and they say there is no such problem with E52. They asked me to go to the repair center...(isnt that ridiculous to ask a customer of a new phone to do so?). I went to the repair center with a hope that they will replace it for me but all in vain. They also gave me a ridiculous answer that Nokia does not have a replacement policy...and I was like so is it Nokia's policy to sell broken and faulty mobiles? I was utterly dejected. The electronic store where I bought also refuse to replace because they think there is a problem and no matter I get it changed it will recur. I still do not have a solution as all my ways of getting this problem resolved are exhausted. Anyone has a solution or came across this issue which can be solved without repairing?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an X6 16GB, which I turn off at night when I go to bed, about once a week I switch it on in the morning and the date hasn't changed from the previous day. The same problem occurs whether I have automatic time update on or off. Also once or twice a week it will download emails with the date 01/01/2000 instead of todays date. I can log into my emails via Outlook Express on my p.c and the date will be correct there.I have software version v20 installed, the same problems still occurred on the previous firmware as well.Any help greatfully received

I recently moved to Michigan from California, and the time settings on my blackberry automatically changed to Eastern Time (-5). However, whenever I receive an SMS (no problems with BBM/MMS), the timestamp for the received SMS in the conversation is 3 hours earlier than the actual/device time. This is a problem only inside the conversation; when I go back to the main Messages or SMS folder, the timestamp of the last received/sent message next to the contact's name is correct. Is there any way to fix this aside from doing a complete wipe? I tried rebooting and manually changing the date/time; didn't help.

I am having with my BlackBerry Bold 9900. The time for incoming SMS messages is constantly saying 03.10am, and when I scroll over the message it always says "received 1 minute ago", regardless of when the message was received. My sent messages seem to be working fine and the time and date have been set correctly. The phone is only a week old and the software is up to date. I have tried removing the battery and rebooting the device but nothing has worked.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have my Yahoo e-mail account tied into the universal inbox. Certain received messages show up with no subject and with the timestamp as 0 UTC (1/1/1970) but adjusted for timezone. The problem e-mails look perfectly fine when viewed on a computer. The same problem was reported some time ago in thisthread:https://supportforums.motorola.com/message/100304Incidentally enough, all the e-mail notifcations generated when there is a response to a thread I've created (in this forum) show the same behavior, so it should be easy enough for Motorola to duplicate (hint hint).

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using a Droid RAZR with ICS. At times I will receive an email with a timestamp sometime in the future (usually a SPAM message). This prevents new emails from downloading into the email program until after the date and time of that last email. If I delete the email with the incorrect timestamp other meails will immediately download onto the phone.I have looked at the header for this email in Outlook on my PC, and it appears that the email program on the phone is using the timestamp fro the sending computer system, not the one from the local timezone. Does anyone know a way around this issue?
