HTC Desire HD :: How To Add Timestamp To Photos
Sep 22, 2011I upgraded from HTC Desire to HTC Desire HD. The Desire timestamps the photos I take, the Desire HD does not. Is there a setting on the Desire HD to add the timespamp?

Nov 19, 2010I have X10 mini Is there a way to put timestamps on photos (date and time) that sticks on the photo right away as pic is taken? Kind of like it does in an older SE w810 or something? Its like light green numbers in the right bottom corner that sticks to the photo right away. Phones like the SE w810 had this feature in the camera that could be turned on or off. Is there any app like this for x10 mini and other Android phones?

Apr 11, 2010On all SE phones I've had, the timestamps on my photos and videos has always been wrong, mostly by an hour or so. If I record a video at 7 pm, it says it was recorded at 6 pm. Same goes for photos.

Dec 22, 2011I have HTC Desire. I had some videos and pictures in my mobile. I never deleted them from my mobile, I just transferred them to my PC and with transfer they disappear. I can't see them in Gallery any more. Luckily due to the backup software Astro, i have got my Pictures back but I can't locate my videos anywhere. To remind you, I just transferred them, not deleted them from mobile.

Jul 12, 2011Whenever I receive an sms, the messaging app shows a phone number instead of a contact name. It also does not show the contact photo. From time to time the contact name would show (reason undetermined), but still without the photo. I am using a stock messaging app and the phone is not modded in any way. All contacts are Google contacts duplicated and linked to Phone contacs (although I tried erasing Phone contacts and using only Google contacts - to no avail.) Each contact has got a +48 country prefix. The "People" list is showing photos without a problem. I previously had a classic Desire and the messaging app worked fine.

Jun 25, 2015On several screenshots that were sent to me from my friend's iPhone, the clock would say something like 7:57pm in the corner. That time matched my time as well.. But when I view details of the image, it would say 9:57. Now the tricky thing is, my friend was in a different time zone earlier that week and would have been 2 hours ahead of me if she were still there, but she was supposedly back in my state at that point. Is something wrong with my phone or did she change the time of her clock to match my own, while in reality she's still two hours ahead and my "details" section knows the truth?

Oct 25, 2011Unlike my previous smarthphone, actually unlike all mobile phones I have used, when I receive a SMS the Xperia Ray puts a timestamp when the message was received and not when the message was sent.
Since I swithch off the phone at night it can be very confusing and annoying when messages come in and are not put chronologically. It can also happen when you have no coverage and when it takes time, sometimes hours before the message gets through.

Sep 1, 2010I recently moved to Michigan from California, and the time settings on my blackberry automatically changed to Eastern Time (-5). However, whenever I receive an SMS (no problems with BBM/MMS), the timestamp for the received SMS in the conversation is 3 hours earlier than the actual/device time. This is a problem only inside the conversation; when I go back to the main Messages or SMS folder, the timestamp of the last received/sent message next to the contact's name is correct. Is there any way to fix this aside from doing a complete wipe? I tried rebooting and manually changing the date/time; didn't help.

Nov 25, 2011I am having with my BlackBerry Bold 9900. The time for incoming SMS messages is constantly saying 03.10am, and when I scroll over the message it always says "received 1 minute ago", regardless of when the message was received. My sent messages seem to be working fine and the time and date have been set correctly. The phone is only a week old and the software is up to date. I have tried removing the battery and rebooting the device but nothing has worked.

Jul 27, 2012I am using a Droid RAZR with ICS. At times I will receive an email with a timestamp sometime in the future (usually a SPAM message). This prevents new emails from downloading into the email program until after the date and time of that last email. If I delete the email with the incorrect timestamp other meails will immediately download onto the phone.I have looked at the header for this email in Outlook on my PC, and it appears that the email program on the phone is using the timestamp fro the sending computer system, not the one from the local timezone. Does anyone know a way around this issue?

Galaxy S6 :: Unable To Backup Photos On Google Photos
Jul 13, 2015I have the international SM-G920I version of the S6, running the latest 5.1.1 update.Recently, it has started giving me issues in the Google Photos app. I am unable to back up any photos. When I go open the app and go to the Assistant tab, it always shows "Backing up 1 item out of XX".
When I go to the "Backup & Sync" settings of the app, I get constant toast notifications saying "Backing up 1 out of XX". I factory reset my phone and tried again, however the issue persists. I am able to upload photos onto Google Photos using my computer, so it does not seem to be an issue in my Google account.
