LG G3 :: Keyboard - How To Change (droplet) Icon To Make Correction To Text
Jul 8, 2015
In my LG G3, when I want to make correction to the text that I have typed, I see a "droplet" icon near the character I want to change. This is the icon that is used to drag and place the cursor somewhere else. (I do not know the correct technical term for this draggable icon.)
The problem is that I cannot touch and drag this droplet icon. Usually this icon is rectangle in shape, but I see it as a droplet icon. Initally it was a rectangle icon. I accidently pressed some key which changed the cursor to "droplet" shape.
i dont know How it happaned but my keyboard is now darker and it dosent let me push the spelling correction options.. i digged into the settings and found nothing.
I have been having a problem with that fact that they moved the keyboard change icon from the notification bar are to the lower right bottom corner each time you open to type something. I am the kind that likes to use the one handed keyboard coz i swype but now ican't. I am find it really difficult because everytime am writing something, the inside of my palm taps this poorly located icon, i know am not the only one, this icon should have been left where it was before not move.
How can I turn off spelling correction when text messaging. iPhone thinks it knows the English language better than I do and I'm tired of its mindless interventions.
The text-messaging app or underlying UI aggressively corrupts my messages. For example, if I enter "/tmp/" as part of a URL, this is changed to "/top/". The software fights to maintain this corruption, so that I have to enter a blank-space and then delete it to maintain the actual string that I want. I want to disable this corruption.ne of the first things that i did with this hand-set was to change the settings for the hardware and virtual keyboards, to disable auto-correction; those settings appear to be as I left them.
I have just got a new N8 (as I damaged my old one), and every 10 minutes it makes a noise, like something dropping in water. I have no apps or anything open, no messages etc so I've no idea why its making this noise?
For the last few days, my iPhone 4S has been making a sound that's like a droplet of water falling into a sink. It's at random times, and it's not a notification for anything (and isn't even an option in my sounds menu).
I don't know if this is the right forum for this, but I woke this morning to see my Yahoo email icon back on my home screen. Has anyone else gotten it back? And lastly, how do I change it back to a stock BB icon?
How to make Swift Key keyboard the default keyboard? Everytime I need to type anything, the factory keyboard pops up. I constantly have go into the settings to switch it to the Swift Key.
I was jut wondering...is there any way to keep it so the keyboard light STAYS on?? What's up with the light...i don't get it :/ i just got this, so if there is a way if you could tell me how!
I purchase the lumia 900 and overall I'm very happy with it. My suggestion is to make an option in the settings under keyboard for 'show emoticon key'. Most people don't use/need 50 smiley face options, and I'm perfectly fine with typing : and ) every once in awhile when necessary.I'm left handed, and use my left thumb to hit the space bar when texting/emailing. About 50% of the time i accidentally hit the emoticon key and start typing all sorts of smiley faces, then have to hit the backspace key. I lose about 5-10 seconds every text message.
On the Sony build of Android 4.0.4 (all Builds!) on a German "SK17i", the settings for turning off the auto-correction for punctuation is plainly ignored. That is: "Automatical Upper- Lower case" is UNchecked, "automatical replacement" is UNchecked and also in the XPERIA keyboard setting I changed the word suggestions to "never help with typing, do not suggest".And STILL, every time there is a full stop the phone starts the next word at upper case (also at places like "e.g."). If I hit upper case at the beginning of a sentence or after an abreviation, as I am used to with a QWERTZ keyboard, it switches to CAPSLOCK FOR ALL FOLLOWING words in that textbox. It is not even consistent in doing so: when entering a title for an appointment, the phone "Upper Cases" Every Word There Is And Switches To CAPSLOCK When Pressing Shift One Time Regardless Of The Punctuation. It is so annoying I sometimes want to smack the phone to the wall and grab my old Palm Pre which just works like it should, that is like a regular keyboard.I consider this to be a serious bug as the software is clearly IGNORING the system settings.
Is there a way to make the icons bigger on the scene? My suretype keyboard used to be able to see without squinting, but not anymore. I've tried changing the font but it stays the same.
I have synced and restored my phone but the sound is still not happening! It rings ok but when I answer I hear nothing also the keyboard clicks have gone. I have checked the ringer volume but still nothing.
In my text messages I cant seem to find where to turn off auto correction for spelling. Also I noticed there is no way to save pictures that are sent through text messaging. Can anyone help me...This phone does not have many options for customizing and I am thinking about switching this phone to an htc phone or something.
i just updated my xperia x10 software yesterday & instaed of showing number, it shows korean letter at the bottom left hand corner of the keyboard. how do i change it back to numbers?
I'd like to know if there is possivel to change the message keyboard. Now i have the qwerty keyboard both with the phone vertically or horizontally, but with the phone vertically the qwerty keyboard is not practical because the keys are to small, and I'd like to change it if its possible.
So here's the issue. I bought a KS360 phone (unlocked) off of ebay and it's great...except one small issue. The keyboard is marked as a QWERTY keyboard but when I go to type, the 'a' and 'q' and 'w' and 'z' are switched around, making the phone a AZERTY phone. Is there any way to fix this problem? The phone's programming says it's Belgium, which is why the phone has been programmed for an AZERTY layout (...I'm guessing). Is there any way to make the phone work as the QWERTY keyboard intended? I'm new at this, so if messing around with flashing/inner workings of the phone is involved in the solution, can someone walk me through it so I don't ruin the phone?
so i was texting last night and the keyboard changed to what i think is Japanese and i can't change back, i can still text in English but it wont auto correct any mistakes or give me suggestions.
I've tried to change it back but it just won't change, what can i do?
The text icon disappeared and I do not receive notifications of new text messages. The only way I can find a text is to locate the sender in my Contacts.
After only a couple of days with my torch and not having modified it all, all of a sudden when I click on the TEXT message icon, it just shows my regular inbox. It used to show only SMS messages and was really cool. Now it shows emails and all!
I dont see anywhere to change this back to the original behavior. I did a hard reset with no luck.So far I love my phone even with the minor annoyances like it hangs for a few seconds after unlocking it everytime, fine I can live with that. But I really want to fix this text message thing
I ve lost my text icon and alert from my Curve 9360 . I ve tried following all information on phone - troubleshooting etc- things they say dont seem to appear on my phone.
My phone is basically in English but my second language if Hebrew, and I can't change the language on toe keyboard, it only works on the virtual one, how do I change the language on the keyboard?
