I was jut wondering...is there any way to keep it so the keyboard light STAYS on?? What's up with the light...i don't get it :/ i just got this, so if there is a way if you could tell me how!
View 3 Replies1 week ago i walked in the water with my mobile.. Nothing worked anymore. I took my mobile to a telefone store and they have repaired my mobile. Only i've got a steady blue led light and no keyboard light only when i start my blackberry on, the keyboard gives light. If i get other notifications the blue led light still gives light and the red light is blinking that i have something.

View 9 Replies View RelatedThis is my 4th BB and while I'm not a pro, I would like to think I know a little. I have not been able to find a flash option anywhere on this phone! I just upgraded from the 8330 Curve, to this one and so far I am highly disappointed!My friend who has an iPhone said BB is trying to be more like it. From the layout of the texts to the options. It's frustrating! If I wanted an iPhone, I would have bought one...I like the BB for the features it has not for being like the iPhone.Sorry, I got a bit rant-y but I cannot believe this new version doesn't have a flash. Hope I'm overlooking something!
View 12 Replies View RelatedMy blackberry curve 8520 keyboard is unresponsive. I have done several hard resets removing the battery sim card and memory card. Once I put all of the components back in the phone it restarts and brings me to the screen to enter my keyboard password. When I press the keys none of them respond and the screen stays blank and eventually dims away. NO keys word and the scroll pad will only scroll but not select. I am in dire need of a solution-
View 4 Replies View RelatedYesterday I purchased my new BB Curve 8520. I was so happy with it until, I ran some new app and it completly froze. I pulled the battery out. Put it back, turned it on and no results. None of my keys are working. If I press alt or shifts it shows on the right upper corner of the screen that they are being activated, but nothing else happens. I've been trying for hours. I tried the old Alt+shift+Del, I took the sim out, the memory card. I left the phone without battery for an hour but no use. And also my speaker icon shows star insted of curves and my Antenna isn't working either.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI was charging my new BlackBerry Curve 8530 just about now and I was checking if it was charging or not because it only had the blinker, blinking orange and nothing else. Because it's been charging for an hour or so.
I accidently turn the BlackBerry on so I quickly turn it off to let it continue charging. But when I turn it off, the orange blink wasn't blinking anymore so I unplug the charger and plug it back in quickly.
My question is: will this affect the battery length when I actually use the phone because I unplugged it that first charge?
I have just upgraded my phone and got a blackberry 8520. i have been trying to work out if you can make the keyboard light up when you are writing a message. does anyone know if you can do this and how you do it?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI recently took charge of a Blackberry Curve 8520 - I noticed that after I had linked it to my PC via Blackberry Desktop Manager, the icon for the keyboard lock was removed from the menu. I've looked in the obvious places in Options to try and re-instate the icon but can't seem to see anywhere which allow me to do ths. I took out the battery and sim card and waited for about a minute before putting them back in. It seemed to be working this time, but I just wanted to know what has happened to my phone. View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently updated this phone with the 5.0 version via desktop. Installation was successful, kind of. Sending and receiving text, internet, media, etc. all work fine. But whenever I make a call this phone goes off, the little red light blinks and then blackberry logo appears above a loading/buffering bar. Before the update placing calls went on without a hitch.

Seems like to me it's flashing 2 longer flashes then 2 small one straight away. Continuously repeats this with 20/30 seconds between each. When i talk on the phone the keyboard light fades away; however, the call, blackberry, back, and end buttons all stay on THE WHOLE TIME i talk. I have talked for 30 minutes and it stays on. I have all the settings to as low as they go and i have it to where the lights fade. I just cant seem to figure out if this happens on everybody's phone or its just mine and i need to get it replaced. I have had no other complaints on this phone and the battery lasts a pretty long period of time for me but i know that if this issue gets fixed it would last even longer.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy 8900 turns on the red light when I pop the battery in, I press the power button and the screen turns on but just shows white. After letting it power on for a few minutes I call myself (by using a friends phone) and I can answer and talk.
I searched everywhere. The computer can read the PIN #, just in case though I wiped it and reloaded the OS. Bought a T6 screwdriver, took it apart, disconnected then reconnected the display cord then turned it back on and same old white screen.
Like a lot of people, I prefer the Google keyboard over the Samsung one. Annoyingly, an icon appears in the notification bar whenever the Google keyboard is summoned. One way to get rid of this icon is to disable all other keyboards under Language and input -> Default keyboard -> Set up input methods. Unfortunately I've noticed that the Samsung keyboard keeps turning back on all the time.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIs the red LED supposed to be ON while the Bold is charging?I just got the Bold and when the phone is on, and I plug it to the wall charger, there is a lightening bolt on the battery icon so I know it is charging, however, there is no red LED.
I used to have a Bold about 6 months ago, then switched phones, and I'm now back on the Bold. I could've sworn when I had the Bold last time, that there was a red LED ON when I charged the phone. Now I don't see it.
Was I just imagining things? Or maybe it was a different OS version? I'm on 4.6. (I think when I was on the Bold last time, I was on OS 5.0.
