BB Curve :: No Keyboard Light And Steady Blue Light?
Jul 16, 20121 week ago i walked in the water with my mobile.. Nothing worked anymore. I took my mobile to a telefone store and they have repaired my mobile. Only i've got a steady blue led light and no keyboard light only when i start my blackberry on, the keyboard gives light. If i get other notifications the blue led light still gives light and the red light is blinking that i have something.

Mar 20, 2010i would like to know if there is a way, with the phone by itself or with any app, to auto lock the keyboard.In any nokia phone (the old ones, not smartphones) you can set it to auto lock after X seconds you didnt use the phone. Thats what I need.The thing is, i have the phone locked in my pocket. I recieve a call, I answer it, and when I finish, the phone stay unlocked. I forguet to lock it again, put in my pocket, and hell unleashes (phone calls, messages, and more without wanting).So, I want my phone to lock itself after 15 sefonds in stand by. And to stay locked after i recieve a call.

Mar 21, 2011Earlier today I received a call from a number that was supposed to be blocked in my Mr Number Callblock app, but came through anyways. Ever since, my light is blinking like there is something I need to check, but I have gone in and been through every app and even the hidden folders and can not find any notifications. I have done a hard reset. I am on 5.0 currently and there are no icons at the top of the screen or anything to show me what I need to check to turn the light off.

Aug 3, 2010When i talk on the phone the keyboard light fades away; however, the call, blackberry, back, and end buttons all stay on THE WHOLE TIME i talk. I have talked for 30 minutes and it stays on. I have all the settings to as low as they go and i have it to where the lights fade. I just cant seem to figure out if this happens on everybody's phone or its just mine and i need to get it replaced. I have had no other complaints on this phone and the battery lasts a pretty long period of time for me but i know that if this issue gets fixed it would last even longer.

Does everyones keyboard light up with a touch of ANY key? Because mine isn't lighting up and might need to swap it out.
I would assume that hitting any key would make the lights come on but just wanted to get confirmation from someone.
BB Bold :: 9650 No Keyboard Back-light?
Sep 1, 2011Recently noticed that my keyboard backlight is out. I am driving myself crazy wondering if I ever had keyboard backlighting. Verizon Wireless support had no answers, but suggested that we hardset the Bold again. If that doesn't work, then they will replace with a "like new" phone. Is there keyboard backlighting on this model? If so, any suggestions to fix? Lastly, anyone had any luck with challenging the "like new" exchange policy for a phone just 4 months old.?

Dec 22, 2010I've noticed a feature on my HTC Desire Z whereby the keyboard keys will light up if the phone deems itself to be in poor lighting conditions. Personally I'd prefer the keyboard to light up anyway, whenever I open it since it's much easier to read when it's lit up. Is there anywhere where I can change this setting so that the keys light up as soon as I slide out the keyboard, regardless of the ambient lighting conditions?

Noticed it a few days ago.I've checked the notification settings and nothing has been changed, but the light no longer works/indicates for any functions. The loss of backlighting for the keyboard is the issue that I find the most concerning. Other than these two issues, I really couldn't be more pleased with my N900 and the Maemo experience.

Sep 15, 2011I am on a curve 8310 I think it is with an annoying flashing blue light. I think it's a cross between a white and blue as it's a pale blue light. Mar 9, 2012I am experiencing very frustrating battery issues on my BB Curve 9300. I bought the device a month ago and had a brand new battery installed in no later than yesterday.Battery life is about 3 to 5 hours at the very best, whilst I am not using any specific 3rd party application.In addition, the "clock" apprears on a very frequent basis, slowing the system dramatically.I do not have any files saved on the media card ... Wi-fi has been disabled already as have Bluetooth. LAt, connection the mobile network is fine so I do not believe it has to do with the device desperately seeking connection.PS: I am based in France with SFR being my provider.

Apr 24, 2010Have had my 8530 for two months now and today I noticed that anytime I push a button on my phone for any reason I get a steady red LCD light. The LCD goes dark when the backlight goes out. The battery is charged and I can make phonecalls. I don't have any outstanding messages and have used the reconcile now option just in case. I scoured the net looking for a solution and the only thing I can find is to do a battery pull or disable the LCD. I definitely don't want to disable it, and I ran across one person who posted that when she did a battery pull that her BB didn't turn back on afterward--so I'm REALLY hesitant to try that!
I haven't upgraded anything on the phone. I was listening to Pandora when this seemed to happen, but I use Pandora every day.Any suggestions/thoughts? I'll do the battery pull if I have to, but I'm hoping to find other solutions.
