On my old iphone4 I can force it to not refresh unless I open the app. Lumia 920 seems to only have the options:As Items ArriveEvery 15 minEvery 30 minHourlyDailyAs I said, I dont have much of a data plan, only 200mb a month. And would only refresh/sync email when I decide to use the app and not let it run on a set schedule in the background as per synd drop down options.

Nov 25, 2012On the Sony build of Android 4.0.4 (all Builds!) on a German "SK17i", the settings for turning off the auto-correction for punctuation is plainly ignored.That is: "Automatical Upper- Lower case" is UNchecked, "automatical replacement" is UNchecked and also in the XPERIA keyboard setting I changed the word suggestions to "never help with typing, do not suggest".And STILL, every time there is a full stop the phone starts the next word at upper case (also at places like "e.g."). If I hit upper case at the beginning of a sentence or after an abreviation, as I am used to with a QWERTZ keyboard, it switches to CAPSLOCK FOR ALL FOLLOWING words in that textbox.It is not even consistent in doing so: when entering a title for an appointment, the phone "Upper Cases" Every Word There Is And Switches To CAPSLOCK When Pressing Shift One Time Regardless Of The Punctuation.It is so annoying I sometimes want to smack the phone to the wall and grab my old Palm Pre which just works like it should, that is like a regular keyboard.I consider this to be a serious bug as the software is clearly IGNORING the system settings.

Jul 8, 2015In my LG G3, when I want to make correction to the text that I have typed, I see a "droplet" icon near the character I want to change. This is the icon that is used to drag and place the cursor somewhere else. (I do not know the correct technical term for this draggable icon.)
The problem is that I cannot touch and drag this droplet icon. Usually this icon is rectangle in shape, but I see it as a droplet icon. Initally it was a rectangle icon. I accidently pressed some key which changed the cursor to "droplet" shape.

Mar 13, 2012English auto-correction is good to use and helps me type faster, however Korean auto-correction is not helpful at all and I find myself having to close the suggested word-box almost 1 out of 2 Korean words which I type.
Is there any way to have one language with auto-correction turned on and the other language's auto-correction turned off?
It seems rather stupid to not have this function available in the first place as there seems to be a lot of languages' auto-correction which are not really helpful.

I have checked the settings through my Windows Live account that my Facebook account is sync'd/allowed to send messages via chat to my phone.I have checked my FB chat settings to see No settings have been changed disallowing FB chat through my phone. In fact this explains perfectly my problem, as one day FB chat worked perfectly, the next few days it worked intermittently, and then from then on it has stopped working completely. I cannot see any contacts, and my phone says"Cannot Connect to see who's online".
