English auto-correction is good to use and helps me type faster, however Korean auto-correction is not helpful at all and I find myself having to close the suggested word-box almost 1 out of 2 Korean words which I type.
Is there any way to have one language with auto-correction turned on and the other language's auto-correction turned off?
It seems rather stupid to not have this function available in the first place as there seems to be a lot of languages' auto-correction which are not really helpful.
On the Sony build of Android 4.0.4 (all Builds!) on a German "SK17i", the settings for turning off the auto-correction for punctuation is plainly ignored. That is: "Automatical Upper- Lower case" is UNchecked, "automatical replacement" is UNchecked and also in the XPERIA keyboard setting I changed the word suggestions to "never help with typing, do not suggest".And STILL, every time there is a full stop the phone starts the next word at upper case (also at places like "e.g."). If I hit upper case at the beginning of a sentence or after an abreviation, as I am used to with a QWERTZ keyboard, it switches to CAPSLOCK FOR ALL FOLLOWING words in that textbox. It is not even consistent in doing so: when entering a title for an appointment, the phone "Upper Cases" Every Word There Is And Switches To CAPSLOCK When Pressing Shift One Time Regardless Of The Punctuation. It is so annoying I sometimes want to smack the phone to the wall and grab my old Palm Pre which just works like it should, that is like a regular keyboard.I consider this to be a serious bug as the software is clearly IGNORING the system settings.
How can I turn off spelling correction when text messaging. iPhone thinks it knows the English language better than I do and I'm tired of its mindless interventions.
I have an iPhone 4S purchased in November, 2011. After the upgrade to iOS 5.1, the phone will not stay connected to the wi-fi at work for more than 1 minute. My iPad has no problems keeping the link. All others that I work with have no issues staying connected to wi-fi. I restored the phone to it's original settings and tried but I still have the same problem. The phone works fine with my wi-fi at home. I've worked with several specialists at work and they have had me try many things to get this to work.
I have thousands of photos on my camera roll. I do know you can select individual photos to delete off the roll and you can select more than one at a time but is there a better way? I keep hoping there would be a way to select groups of photos from my camera roll while my phone is connected to my macbook pro through iphoto. I was told you are only able to delete photos on your phone via your phone basically one at a time.

I have completely removed this incorrect email address (or so I thought) but the ONLY place it pops up is on my iphone with the autofill. I have zero skill at these things - so other than going to an itunes store I tried the icopybot program - but that didn't load correctly and didn't work well
When i plug my ipod into my mac book and bring up itunes, all of my songs (i have over 1000) just start being added to my iphone, and i don't want them there, they take up too much room. Is there a way to turn off the autofill?
Is there a way to mass selectively delete pictures from within the Bionic? I have a lot of pictures transfered over and I'd like to selectively delete them but I can only figure out how to do it one at a time from within the Bionic. I guess I could hook it up to the computer and selectively delete that way, but when away from the computer, is there another way?
Discovered this "unable to turn off" issue last thursday when I was doing a once in a blue moon shut down. Realised my iPhone 64GB running iOS 5.1.1 wouldn't stay switched off. It would automatically reboot itself.
i dont know How it happaned but my keyboard is now darker and it dosent let me push the spelling correction options.. Â i digged into the settings and found nothing.
In my LG G3, when I want to make correction to the text that I have typed, I see a "droplet" icon near the character I want to change. This is the icon that is used to drag and place the cursor somewhere else. (I do not know the correct technical term for this draggable icon.)
The problem is that I cannot touch and drag this droplet icon. Usually this icon is rectangle in shape, but I see it as a droplet icon. Initally it was a rectangle icon. I accidently pressed some key which changed the cursor to "droplet" shape.
The text-messaging app or underlying UI aggressively corrupts my messages. For example, if I enter "/tmp/" as part of a URL, this is changed to "/top/". The software fights to maintain this corruption, so that I have to enter a blank-space and then delete it to maintain the actual string that I want. I want to disable this corruption.ne of the first things that i did with this hand-set was to change the settings for the hardware and virtual keyboards, to disable auto-correction; those settings appear to be as I left them.
In my text messages I cant seem to find where to turn off auto correction for spelling. Also I noticed there is no way to save pictures that are sent through text messaging. Can anyone help me...This phone does not have many options for customizing and I am thinking about switching this phone to an htc phone or something.
We just used z3 about 1 month but my wife have problem with her phone after update to lollipop. The problem is,when she using flaslight apps in quick setting the phone auto off and can't turn om back. I have had this fantastic phone for a couple of days now but I have one minor niggle, how on earth do I switch off the automatic keypad lock ?, I do not mean how do I unlock the keypad, I mean the lock that automatically comes on when the phone is left idle, I've scoured the manual and can't seem to find it.
Lets say my phone is set to turn off at 9PM. If I turn it back on between 9:01 and say, midnight, will it turn itself off when I've stopped using it for some prescribed time, or will I have to manually turn it off myself If I want it "off" for the remainder of the night?
How do I turn off the sound that the Bold 9700 plays with the auto on/off. The 9000 used to do auto on/off silently, but the 9700 plays a sound and I can't find the setting to remove the sound.
I have had the same auto signature for over a year. Need to change the company name in that auto signature. I can make the change in the auto signature box, hit save, everything looks great. Except when I send messages it's still the old auto signature. If I go and click auto signature "off", the auto signature box goes away, everything looks great. Except when I send messages, the old auto signature is still being applied. I've reconciled, pulled the battery, did a quick on/off.
