View 3 Replies View RelatedI have very poor cell reception in my home. Unfortunately, I am a support analyst and work from a home office. I want to forward calls from my cell phone to my desk phone. Problem is, i have an extension that needs to be dialed.
When I put the phone number in the Call Forwarding Screen (Settings/Phone/Call Forwarding), it will not allow me to add a pause. I can add a "+" but this does not achieve my goals of Dial number, Pause, Enter Extension.

I have phone numbers stored that was transferred from my HTC phone that have a "p" in the dialing sequence to introduce a pause for e.g. a calling card. When this number is used in the X10 it will not recognize the "p" as a pause. What is the correct character to use?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI bought a (supposedly unlocked) LG Breeze GW525g. Turns out it is locked to the Telus network. I would like to unlock it and use it on the Koodo network (the guy at the Koodo kiosk checked the IMEI and said it should be compatible once unlocked).Does anyhow know how or where (I'm in downtown Vancouver, BC) I can get this done? I'm not too good with technology (I'm upgrading from a Motorola W385 and this phone is light years away for me, ha).
I emailed one guy downtown here, and he said it would take up to 5 days and cost approx. $45, but someone else told me I should be able to get a code for under $20 and could do it myself. I know you can order codes online, but do not know where is legit, and do not want to start emailing my IMEI out.
Every time I am listening to music or watching a video on YouTube my phone will keep pausing it on its own. I am not pressing pause or anything it even does it when I'm listening to music while the screens turned off in my pocket.

When entering an pattern to unlock the phone, and you accidentally enter it wrong, you have to wait 30 second each try.
I've searched through the manual and online, but I can't seem to find a way to disable or extend this feature to 3 try's.
I have a iPhone 3G.So I made the mistake of upgrading to 3.1.3 firmware, I had unlocked and jailbroken with Cydia and Blackra1n. So i waited a while until there was some ways to do it to 3.1.3 and used Redsn0w to jailbrake which worked and tried to unlock with Sn0wbreeze and it didn't work, I then turned the phone off and the next day I have turned it on and I think its bricked. It just has the sn0wbreeze symbol, computer wont recognize its plugged in and I have held down hold and home to rest and it does nothing.

View 3 Replies View RelatedFor last few days I am having a problem with K790i. When I turn on my phone it shows a small box showing 'Please wait' after the Sony Ericsson logo disappears. Then after waiting for about 10 minutes another small box appears with same 'Please wait ' error. I tried the FW update by SEUS, but it's taking just 30 seconds to install, which I think is weird and might be it's not even updating. So is there any way to Master Reset the phone without being on? By the Keys or something?
View 1 Replies View RelatedThis recently started happening. I will be walking with my phone in my pocket and it is locked, but suddenly my music will pause for no apparent reason. I look at my phone and nothing has happened except my music is now paused. I didn't even touch my headphones. It happens around 3 times every time I take a 30 minute walk. It is so irritating to have your music abruptly stop. One time it went completely haywire and the voice dialer came up and the volume cranked itself all the way up and the robotic google voice nearly damaged my ear drums. Now sometimes the voice dialer comes up once it pauses, but very rarely. It will normally just pause randomly.
I use to believe it was my pocket pausing the music because the touch screen is very terrible on this phone and would skip my music when I was walking but I've since flipped my phone the other way in my pocket so thats not possible.
I've turned off all the gestures, motions, airview, etc.
Ok so I read the webpage on how to root the Aria. I am still clueless to how to do it though.How do you get the one program on a sd card, where do I get that program?Can anyone help me out. I want to get some of this ATT bloatware off of the phone to clear up some space and also to maybe overclock it safely.

The GPS provider has provided me with a link for a program that would enable me to receive the GPS locator information from my PC rather than directly from the satellites. But it is for a Bluetooth connections, which I don't have on my PC. Is it possible to use the USB connection that came with the phone to receive the information from my computer?
All I want to do is add my iPhones to the locate program. What their operating system is. Isn't there any easy way to do this? How do I know what version they are?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI sync contacts with a corporate Exchange / Outlook account. I can manage contacts on the phone or PC. Any contact who has say a business, home or mobile number and a fax number specified, if I go to the dialer, start typing their name, it does show the contact and a number (no indication of type such as fax or cell) so I tap that choice. Sadly, no, I can't just tell from looking at the number if it is fax or not. The phone dials the fax # which of course is incredibly annoying to my ear and that this dumb phone doesn't know not to try a fax number as the first choice for any contact who has a fax number.
I know I can set the default number per contact but I have hundreds of contacts and to go through each one to see if they have a fax and change it would really suck. Is there seriously no way to tell the phone not to use fax as first choice by default?
After transferring a number from a previous carrier to a new carrier, I can no longer receive iMessages from my telephone number. People can only iMessage me if they know my Apple ID. I've tried restoring the phone, but I'm always faced with 'error' in the iMessage settings window.

Whenever I go to Device->Software Updates on the phone, it says my Blackberry is upto date (7.0 Bundle 1315). And I already installed the new BBM update a few weeks ago(version 6.0.0.129).
