View 1 RepliesI have phone numbers stored that was transferred from my HTC phone that have a "p" in the dialing sequence to introduce a pause for e.g. a calling card. When this number is used in the X10 it will not recognize the "p" as a pause. What is the correct character to use?

View 1 Replies View Relatedhow do you create a pause while putting in a phone number into contacts = i am putting in a l. distance card and have to create a pause then add the pin number?
View 3 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to add a pause or wait to a phone number in the contact list? The purpose would be to dial an extension number of enter a PIN for a calling card. This is easily done in MOTO phones, several brands of PDAs and I believe, Nokia phones.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm looking for a bit of LG software comparable to a Nokia phone programming software I've used before. It was named Diego, and could be used to do all sorts of neat things, such as unlocking the ability to use non-carrier ringtones. Now that I have an LG Rumor Touch, I'd like to do the same things, but I don't know what proprietary software LG uses. Can anyone help? I understand you may not be able to post a link, but if you could give me the name of the software, as well as a version that might work I would be most pleased.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have very poor cell reception in my home. Unfortunately, I am a support analyst and work from a home office. I want to forward calls from my cell phone to my desk phone. Problem is, i have an extension that needs to be dialed.
When I put the phone number in the Call Forwarding Screen (Settings/Phone/Call Forwarding), it will not allow me to add a pause. I can add a "+" but this does not achieve my goals of Dial number, Pause, Enter Extension.

View 5 Replies View RelatedThis recently started happening. I will be walking with my phone in my pocket and it is locked, but suddenly my music will pause for no apparent reason. I look at my phone and nothing has happened except my music is now paused. I didn't even touch my headphones. It happens around 3 times every time I take a 30 minute walk. It is so irritating to have your music abruptly stop. One time it went completely haywire and the voice dialer came up and the volume cranked itself all the way up and the robotic google voice nearly damaged my ear drums. Now sometimes the voice dialer comes up once it pauses, but very rarely. It will normally just pause randomly.
I use to believe it was my pocket pausing the music because the touch screen is very terrible on this phone and would skip my music when I was walking but I've since flipped my phone the other way in my pocket so thats not possible.
I've turned off all the gestures, motions, airview, etc.
I have a problem while watching videos on YouTube or so.. When I use the up and down volume buttons, the video pauses for no reason and I find it so annoying.

View 9 Replies View RelatedSince the 5.5.1 update that I made yesterday, my Xperia Z2 is not asking for the PIN number anymore, so I can't send messages, make calls etc.. I removed the SIM then replaced it, but it's not working.
Plus, when I go to the settings / security, I can access to my SIM settings, but it's "in grey", I can't clic on it.
I've a problem with phone number pattern. Normally, In my xperia ray there is three main phone number pattern:pattern 1: phone number onlattern 2: + area code phone numberPattern 3: + phone numberthe problem is, my phone do not auto recognize these pattern as one phone number. So if one contact I saved +84 12345, and I call 12345 in my country (+84 - vietnam), my phone do not display the contact. This also causes problems in merging contact from multi sources (Facebook - phone contact - mail contact etc...)

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently from an area that had amazing reception for Verizon to a small town in Western North Dakota. The problem I'm having is that there is Verizon towers present but they are so far away and reception is almost nothing off of them, but if I go into the basement of my house my phone automatically bumps over to the Alltel tower just down the road. My parents get full reception on their phones, and what I'm wondering is if I can use any of the options in the "##PROGRAM11000" menu to make it so the phone locks onto the strongest tower and not the strongest verizon tower so I can have some hope of using my phone at my house. I just signed a renewal contract before I moved (the move was unexpected for an amazing job) and really don't want to cancel and go to Alltel.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI sync contacts with a corporate Exchange / Outlook account. I can manage contacts on the phone or PC. Any contact who has say a business, home or mobile number and a fax number specified, if I go to the dialer, start typing their name, it does show the contact and a number (no indication of type such as fax or cell) so I tap that choice. Sadly, no, I can't just tell from looking at the number if it is fax or not. The phone dials the fax # which of course is incredibly annoying to my ear and that this dumb phone doesn't know not to try a fax number as the first choice for any contact who has a fax number.
I know I can set the default number per contact but I have hundreds of contacts and to go through each one to see if they have a fax and change it would really suck. Is there seriously no way to tell the phone not to use fax as first choice by default?
After transferring a number from a previous carrier to a new carrier, I can no longer receive iMessages from my telephone number. People can only iMessage me if they know my Apple ID. I've tried restoring the phone, but I'm always faced with 'error' in the iMessage settings window.

I have a Samsung SCH-R350 (Freeform) and awhile back I was in the NAM program screen (when you dial 47*86..etc..) and I found one called "theme," thought it would be smart to change it from "2" to "3" (hoping there was a hidden theme as none can be downloaded for this phone) and it restarted the phone. When it turned back on where it says "contacts/messages/menu" (pretty much all the words/letters) are kinda fuzzy lookin and if you do anything like go into the menu, messages, contacts or dial ANYTHING then the phone just restarts. You can still go on to the internet and applications/@metro (right or left arrow key) but anything else restarts the phone. How could I go about fixing this??? Should I just take it into a METRO store and lie about how it happened?? I can't get calls or make calls (not even with a bluetooth and voiceservices). What should I do as my CDMAWorkshop's demo time expired so now I only have CDMATools 4 and QPST?

New to the Windows mobile phone... I use my Windows phone for business and do a lot of conference calls. With my iPhone I used to be able to put the phone number with three commas and then the passcode to the conference call in the meeting request (format = 555-555-5555,,,12121212#). By using this format my customers could just click the link in their iPhone and it would auto-dial the conference number along with the passcode so that they did not have to remember the passcode while driving.
Example: 555-555-5555,,,12121212#. (autohyperlink for iOS)
VS
555-555-5555 Passcode 12121212 then press # (caller can hyperlink the phone number but has to remember the passcode and dial it while driving...)
By using this format you could just click the number and it would dial the number pause then auto add the passcode and # to enter the conference call. I think Blackberry used to use a similar format to achieve the same thing.
My BB Torch always calls to a random person when i am on a call. need to fix.
