We'd like to define a standard prefix (say 1111) which would be added to the beginning of each number dialed (be it from Contacts or a manually entered number). E.g. I choose to call "Mark" from my Contacts on the C3 whose stored cell number is 6944333333; the actual number that will be called will be 11116944333333.

Nov 9, 2012When i switch it on it works very good no problem at all it asks for the pin code i enter it is acceptet i text messages i speak on it but suddenly i get "insert sim card" and if i press ok the phone is switching off and i get this error like every time it may be 2 hours it may be 10 minutes. I tried to put a piece of paper on it to make the contact even harder but it didnt work i also checked if the sim has problems and doesn`t.

Jun 17, 2012I have very poor cell reception in my home. Unfortunately, I am a support analyst and work from a home office. I want to forward calls from my cell phone to my desk phone. Problem is, i have an extension that needs to be dialed.
When I put the phone number in the Call Forwarding Screen (Settings/Phone/Call Forwarding), it will not allow me to add a pause. I can add a "+" but this does not achieve my goals of Dial number, Pause, Enter Extension.

The contact also has a picture, and a custom ringtone.When I phone the N8 from the home number, it doesn't use the custom ringtone, it doesn't show the picture, and when I look in the log, it hasn't recognised the call as coming from my contact, but it has got the correct phone number (proving that I'm not masking the number on calls from the home landline).
Is there something special I have to do to persuade the N8 to accept UK landline calls, and match them up with my contacts? I've checked my contacts, and only one contains the home landline number, so the N8 is not finding the wrong contact.My wife's mobile works just fine, so the basic mecanism is OK. May 31, 2010i am at my wits end.I constantly get the message on my n95 8gb to 'insert sim card' this happens 10-20 times aday.The only way to resolve it is to remove the battery 10-20 times aday!
