I have dialed a number 9909912345 on my iPhone, but got no response..Suddenly i realize that as its STD number, i will have to dial it with 0 before, means 09909912345 In my dialed number list there is 9909912345.Is there any way, i can edit it and insert 0 before first 9.
Every time I try to dial a new number, the last number I entered on the keypad is still there. I have to delete it manually before I can call someone else. My husband has an iPhone 3, and his keypad is always blank when he accesses it. Is there a setting for this?
We have a number of company Series 40 Nokia phones, such as thje C3, which we'd like to integrate with our company's PBX. We'd like to define a standard prefix (say 1111) which would be added to the beginning of each number dialed (be it from Contacts or a manually entered number). E.g. I choose to call "Mark" from my Contacts on the C3 whose stored cell number is 6944333333; the actual number that will be called will be 11116944333333.
I receive a mail which has a phone number, but no country code - to dial i have to save the number to contacts, then edit the number, and dial! Most dangerous while driving
When on the recent calls list if I select a number that is not on my contact list and then select "create new contact" I get error message that "can not create a new contact without a valid account"
is there another way to create a new contact from a dialed number?
I happened to exchange my handset , an i phone 5 in the US when i encountered problems with my origibal handset procured from India.I was using a local US number at the time of exchange. Now, that I have returned to India, I see the US phone number that I had been using against Facetime and iMessage.
When using the phone function on any iPhone, sometimes you need to edit the phone number that you have just typed (ex. typed 0123456789 and wanted to add or erase a digit from the center or beginning) how could edit it?? considering that I do not want to save the number.Â
Using iOS 5.1.1 on iPhone 3GS. I was browsing through my pictures in the photo album and noticed the edit feature, I wasn't sure what the buttons at the bottom were for so I clicked the red circle and realized it is the red eye edit tool. But it took me to a full screen of the picture and tells me to click on the red eyes and to click twice to undo, but after lots of clicking I can't seem to get the screen to go back to my normal photo album. How do I close this feature? I can access my camera roll through the camera but not through the photo album. Even after hitting my home key and trying to get back in it still takes me to the picture that is in edit mode.
I have a bold 9700, it has always been that when i press the green send key it lists the last numbers dialed or receaved, now when i press it comes up with my alphabetical phone book?
my phone's working fine yesterday. today i cant hear answered calls and dialled numbers on the "earpiece". but there are tones when my number is dialled.
When trying to make a call (to landlines or mobiles) my phone often cuts out with a 'beep'. Sometimes its after no rings, sometimes after 4+ rings and even sometimes after the call has connected. Each time, after I call the person back, it connects without a problem. I've taken the phone back to the shop where purchased for a repair and tried factory resets and software updates but with no success.
As many of the rest of you have done, I mindlessly upgraded to OS 5.0, and am working on the new features. Here's something that puzzles me, though. Now when I dial a number from my contact list (even one in my own city and area code), my BB puts a +1 (country code for the usa) in front of the number. As I don't recall seeing this before, is this something new? Or do I have a setting wrong (which I'll discover on my bill in a few days).
The call history on my 8900 stopped working. Does anyone have any suggestions on how it can be resolved? Background: 2 days ago call history stopped displaying dialed call. today it stopped displaying any in/outgoing calls to. Didn't made any changes to any setting, menu options etc. it just spontaneously stopped working. in call history/General Options played with the settings. Changed the "Phone List View" from "call log" to name and most recent. Recent calls I made appeared, but when I switched back to the call log setting all that is displayed are calls from Mar. 1 and previous.Troubleshooting performed: changed setting within the Call History/General Options menu. After transferring a number from a previous carrier to a new carrier, I can no longer receive iMessages from my telephone number. People can only iMessage me if they know my Apple ID. I've tried restoring the phone, but I'm always faced with 'error' in the iMessage settings window.

I have only one cell number that will show up in my text messaging with just the number not the name. I have deleted it and reentered it. It has a + in front of the number.
I recently had issue with my ID between the iPhone and the Apple Store. After getting this corrected I noticed that my appleID was inputted oncorrectly into the phone. I just want to correct this without loosing all the content and settings on the phone and without changing the correct id.
