View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen trying to make a call (to landlines or mobiles) my phone often cuts out with a 'beep'. Sometimes its after no rings, sometimes after 4+ rings and even sometimes after the call has connected. Each time, after I call the person back, it connects without a problem. I've taken the phone back to the shop where purchased for a repair and tried factory resets and software updates but with no success.

Background: 2 days ago call history stopped displaying dialed call. today it stopped displaying any in/outgoing calls to. Didn't made any changes to any setting, menu options etc. it just spontaneously stopped working.
in call history/General Options played with the settings. Changed the "Phone List View" from "call log" to name and most recent. Recent calls I made appeared, but when I switched back to the call log setting all that is displayed are calls from Mar. 1 and previous.Troubleshooting performed: changed setting within the Call History/General Options menu. View 2 Replies View RelatedFor the past week or so, when I am finished with a call, nothing happens when I press "End". The call continues until the call is disconnected by the other person (I presume). This doesn't happen every time, but often enough to be really annoying. I am using iPhone 4s with iOS 5.1.1.

View 4 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading my BlackBerry Curve 3G (9300) to OS 6 bundle 2949 there's no chance to disconnect a phone call (to end a call); neither by clicking the red button nor by using the BlackBerry-Menu. I just can disconnect by putting my BB in holster or by clicking on the connect/disconnect-button of my bluetooth-headset. (Of course this works only if I'm using it and if it's connected.). Otherwise I have to wait, until the other one hangs up. But that doesn't work, if I check my voicemail, because it waits for my disconnect.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have been having this peculiar problem with my blackberry torch 9860 smartphone for the past 1 week. After finishing a voicecall, in many situations the phone does not disconnect even if I press the end call button repeatedly. It just seems to "hang" for 30-40 seconds and then disconnect. Sometimes it dosconnects only if the person at the other end hangs up.

The issue I am getting is frequently mobile is getting silent automatically No ringtone is ringing, when I am getting incoming call only display is coming, when I am receiving call I cannot hear anything. So everytime I have to switch off mobile and remove battery and restart the phone again, for sometime everything is working fine but after some hours again getting silent.
I'm seeing a problem whereby, if the other person hangs up before I do, the call will continue on the handset - on all other phones, as soon as the other person hangs up, the handset then disconnects too.

View 1 Replies View Related1. I can't disconnect calls. I generally happens when I'm on back to back calls. The phone becomes unresponsive for about 10~15 seconds before you could do anything with it.
2. When I'm listening to music and someone calls me, I hear a sharp noise when phone call overlaps music. Once I disconnect the call, the volume in the headsets remains fixed, you can't reduce or increase the volume. The solution here is to remove the headset from phone and plug them back in. If that doesn't work then re-start the phone!
Just got the Elite Flip Thursday night (it's now Saturday morning), paired it with Moto Droid Razr Maxx (OTA .181), and yes, I am using the latest MotoSpeak. I noticed that every time I used the EF for a telephone call, once the call was disconnected, usually but not exclusively by the other party hanging up, the Elite Flip would disconnect from the phone and then reconnect. Is this normal? Is there a way to keep the Elite Flip from doing this?

View 9 Replies View RelatedMy Blackberry 8830 may now be a paperweight from trying to update the software. I backed everything up by using Blackberry Desktop Manager. I started the software update process and made sure to include another back-up of everything. Soon after the process started, it hung up for 30 minutes, and since the BlackBerry screen was stuck on "Connecting to Desktop", I jiggled the USB connection a little bit to see if that would work. I have had intermittent problems in the past probably because the phone is old, and I don't always get a reliable connection (when recharging or tethering). That worked, and the "Blackberry Device Manager Properties" window showed that the Blackberry 8830 was connected and the "Updating Device Software" window showed progress as the "Backup" was completed.
The next step was "Erasing Applications" as part of the Install process, and that is where the process has been frozen for the last hour and 15 minutes. I fear that the connection failed again, and so the 8830 was inadvertently disconnected during the update. Now, no amount of jiggling will show that I am connected even though the PC knew that the Blackberry was connected ("Driver Software Installation" recognizes a Blackberry smartphone). I have a dark screen, phone off, and the dreaded 2 x red flashing light every 3 seconds that another forum poster mentioned. I cannot turn my phone on. It is not recognized as a connected device. Obviously the "Erasing Applications" remains frozen at 40%.
