I have a strange problem on my Z3, my apps don't seem to want to update while my screen is off, they just seen to pause updating until I turn the screen on again, this is via wi-fi or 4G, I also don't have any power saving options enabled, not sure what to do?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Xperia Z2 (Andriod 5.0) went on bootloop after updating apps from play store. I tried both safe mode and normal boot. But after boot, the system is in serious lag and will reboot itself afterwards. I tend not to wipe all my data.

View 4 Replies View RelatedChecking out media players, I downloaded Zimly and Mixzing to compare. Both installed instantly but only Zimly appeared as an icon on the home screen. When I go to Settings>Applications>Manage applications they are both listed as installed, however I need to have Mixing drop its icon for me to be able to use it ... from reviews etc I actually think that's the one I'll be keeping anyway, a clear case of sod's Law that of the two that one would be the one with a problem!I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice, same result.

I tried to update it but when I tried to update the app it just gave me that buffering circle for multiple minutes. I thought something was wrong with my Wi-Fi but nothing was wrong with that either i contacted my internet supplier and they sent me a new signal and everything. Still nothing, I went to my friend's house and tried updating my apps there, nothing happened still. It just tells me "Waiting" When I exit out the App Store to check on the progress of the apps that are suppose to be downloading. They didn't have any progress at all, I tried reseting my phone and nothing happened still! I then signed out of my Apple ID to see if that would resolve the problem. Still nothing. Now today Instagram has a new update, I tried updating that thinking that only Messenger was having a flaw with updating, Instagram wouldn't update either.

I've found recently my phone has been getting no updates at all from the store, Ive been manually pushing them from the store.
I've done a search on here and completed soft resets with repining the tile etc, and still doesn't seem to be working ...
What causes the store to stop pushing the updates?
I am using a Lumia 1020 with Black update and my Store is perfectly doing fine showing updates available but recently, or maybe around 2 weeks or so, my Store does not show any updates. I always see many updates from WPCentral but I the store just does not show an available update. And it is tiring to go to the app itself and update it from there when the store can automatically get all available updates and prompt me to download all.
I tried soft reset, restore factory settings, have not tried hard reset because I do not want to. I am almost in a month now that my store does not give me available updates.
So I've done 2 updates with my somewhat new 9700 Bold 2 with my Mac using the BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac. I will do backups and syncs before each of my updates always but unfortunately my 9700 fresh out of update has barely any Apps on it (not even all the default apps like AIM, ICQ, Maps, etc.). I'll have to get Desktop Manager going again to find out I need to click on the "Applications" tab and add back all of the original included Applications.
They don't even have all the Apps that I downloaded in that "applications" tab section via BlackBerry App World! Where did all of those Apps go? (Messenger, Poynt, Google Maps, etc.) I'm sick and tired of having to redownload all the apps that I want from App World every time an update rolls around. It's an unlocked Bell 9700 (using Rogers)
