Since the 5.5.1 update that I made yesterday, my Xperia Z2 is not asking for the PIN number anymore, so I can't send messages, make calls etc.. I removed the SIM then replaced it, but it's not working.
Plus, when I go to the settings / security, I can access to my SIM settings, but it's "in grey", I can't clic on it.
My iPhone screen has frozen when I try to restore it asks for pin number which I can't enter as screen is frozen!

View 4 Replies View RelatedEvery time I try to call a number (LAN LINE) that has a block on unidentified callers, I get the message "The number you are calling does not accept unidentified calls please enter your 10 digit phone number" The funny thing is that this problem just started to happen. A week ago it was fine. When I do call a number that is not blocked, my number comes up correctly on the caller ID but shows as unidentified. Sometimes, it shows up as international.Now, funny thing is that if I put my SIM in my Pearl, I can make calls no problem. There are two settings on the Bold under general options. One is called "Restrict My Identity" In this case, I have have it set to NEVER. I have also tried NETWORK DETERMINED, but neither of them make difference. The other setting is called "Show My Number" and this is set to YES.I have talked to AT&T until I am blue in the face. They say it is a problem with the phone and that it needs to be replaced. I hardly believe that. I have a friend with the same phone and it has the same problem.I did see some threads on this before in other forums, but never did see an answer to the problem.Finding a solution would be very nice.Already tried doing a factory reset and a security wipe on the phone.

After dipping my phone in water for about 10 seconds at a depth of 15 cm, the touch screen went crazy. Brightness was at its maximun ignoring the ambient light sensor. 20 minutes later the phone was off. I thought was the battery, but before this, the battery was at 60 %. I let it in rise for two days, but it doesn't start or charge the battery. Is dead. Two times, when I connect the usb charger a red led light turns on, but turns off after a few seconds.

The last couple of days it's phone clarity has deteriorated so I had tried to reset to factory settings. Each time I get into factory settings and try to get into it the phone asks me to 'end all active calls and connections first' however there is nothing running or connected. I turned the phone off and took out the battery and tried again - this time I was able to put in the code but then it came back as the previous request and wouldn't allow me to go any further.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI sync contacts with a corporate Exchange / Outlook account. I can manage contacts on the phone or PC. Any contact who has say a business, home or mobile number and a fax number specified, if I go to the dialer, start typing their name, it does show the contact and a number (no indication of type such as fax or cell) so I tap that choice. Sadly, no, I can't just tell from looking at the number if it is fax or not. The phone dials the fax # which of course is incredibly annoying to my ear and that this dumb phone doesn't know not to try a fax number as the first choice for any contact who has a fax number.
I know I can set the default number per contact but I have hundreds of contacts and to go through each one to see if they have a fax and change it would really suck. Is there seriously no way to tell the phone not to use fax as first choice by default?
After transferring a number from a previous carrier to a new carrier, I can no longer receive iMessages from my telephone number. People can only iMessage me if they know my Apple ID. I've tried restoring the phone, but I'm always faced with 'error' in the iMessage settings window.

My X10 is plugged into my computer through a usb cable, but my computer doesn't realize that it's connected. I've connected my phone before, but this is the first time that's it's happened. I'm pretty sure the fault lies with my computer, because my phone charges when I plug it in. I've tried plugging into every usb port that my computer has, and it doesn't make a difference. Usually, when I plug my phone in, it notifies me that it's connected to something, and it asks if I want to "mount" a connnection with it or not, it's not doing this anymore, and neither is my computer notifying me that something is plugged into it.

Does not respond to a hard reset, and not charging. I tried to charge it for 2 consecutive days. He did not turn on. When I tried to connect it to a PC, the red LED lights up. Do not run any mode fastboot nor flashmod. The LED is still illuminated. Although the phone is not connected to anything.

I see on some forums that I need to clear data for a certain app ("eco mode controler") but this app doesn't exist on my Z5 (maybe it does on Z2 or Z3...).
I've got a big problem with my Z3. It was working just fine today I had about 50% battery, though I wasn't going to use it anymore. I'd just put it to charge. I thought I might as well give it a reset now and again as well as clear application processing etc. So I turn off my phone and plugged it in.
I have noticed an odd red blinking LED which I've not seen before (whilst charging), so I thought I might as well turn my device on and see if there is anything wrong. It seems my device refuses to turn on.
I've then consulted the internet to find any way I could fix my device. The only way I was going to be able to do anything was via Sony Companion apparently. So I set it all up and let Sony download was was needed to hopefully repair the phone. Followed all the instruction until I came to this.
No matter how long I hold the volume down button and plug the phone in, it just doesn't want to work. There are no vibrations even when trying to force the device. I've also tried to reset the phone via the hardware button located next to the Sim tray and that didn't work either.
So now I've just left it to charge via wall socket the red LED in the top left corner is still blinking as I'm typing this. Seems I'm stuck with a dead phone at the moment.
I bought my Xperia z2 yesterday. I I downloaded some apps (whatsapp, facebook, intagram....) using wifi. But they doesn't work when i switch to 2G neither 3G. Only Google works on 3G.

My z3 is abt 6 months old. Recently I locked my phone and tried unlocking it but the screen never turned on though I can see the screen lighting up a bluish colour but the display doesn't appear. I have to switch off the phone for around half an hour and restart for it to work.
