Every time I am listening to music or watching a video on YouTube my phone will keep pausing it on its own. I am not pressing pause or anything it even does it when I'm listening to music while the screens turned off in my pocket.
View 2 RepliesThis recently started happening. I will be walking with my phone in my pocket and it is locked, but suddenly my music will pause for no apparent reason. I look at my phone and nothing has happened except my music is now paused. I didn't even touch my headphones. It happens around 3 times every time I take a 30 minute walk. It is so irritating to have your music abruptly stop. One time it went completely haywire and the voice dialer came up and the volume cranked itself all the way up and the robotic google voice nearly damaged my ear drums. Now sometimes the voice dialer comes up once it pauses, but very rarely. It will normally just pause randomly.
I use to believe it was my pocket pausing the music because the touch screen is very terrible on this phone and would skip my music when I was walking but I've since flipped my phone the other way in my pocket so thats not possible.
I've turned off all the gestures, motions, airview, etc.
I only have purchased songs on my iPhone. The music player has jammed--won't play anything. I can see the songs but the play/pause button does nothing. I can advance to the next song (still doesn't play) but I can't move back to the previous song. I've tried resetting to no avail.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI downloaded mp3 files, put them in LG PC Suite and transfered them to my G3 and when I open the standard music app (the purple square) it doesn't see the mp3's. So I looked for them in my file manager and saw all of them stored in the LG PC Suite Folder. Even after transfering the mp3's to the Music Folder the music app didn't see the mp3's. I did use PowerAmp which works great. But I'd still like to use the standard music app which i find easier to use.

I have a strange problem on my Z3, my apps don't seem to want to update while my screen is off, they just seen to pause updating until I turn the screen on again, this is via wi-fi or 4G, I also don't have any power saving options enabled, not sure what to do?

All of my air browse gestures work, I would think that this feature would work too since it uses the same sensor.

I have very poor cell reception in my home. Unfortunately, I am a support analyst and work from a home office. I want to forward calls from my cell phone to my desk phone. Problem is, i have an extension that needs to be dialed.
When I put the phone number in the Call Forwarding Screen (Settings/Phone/Call Forwarding), it will not allow me to add a pause. I can add a "+" but this does not achieve my goals of Dial number, Pause, Enter Extension.

Ok, the buttons look nice, but functionally, their positioning *****.
I find myself regularly accidentally hitting rewind or fast forward when I really am aiming for Pause/Play.
This is particularly annoying if I am listening to an hour long podcast, as positioning within the track using the 'slider' is painful.
It would be nice if the buttons could be configured to be somewhere completely separate. (pause/play at the top, FF/Rew at the bottom, for example).

I have phone numbers stored that was transferred from my HTC phone that have a "p" in the dialing sequence to introduce a pause for e.g. a calling card. When this number is used in the X10 it will not recognize the "p" as a pause. What is the correct character to use?

That way, I can use my long distance provider, that requires the user to call their number, wait for the prompt, then enter the long distance number I wish to dial. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be any way to do this on my new phone, as the phone numbre imput pad only allows for numbers and nothing else (the pause would normally be a comma or the letter p).

One thing that I found frustrating, though, was the lack of a "pause" function on the video player. I am posting this information in case it is useful to other k550i users. I used to play videos by going to File Manager --> Videos --> Select Video and was frustrated by the lack of a pause function on the player. If my viewing was interrupted I had to miss some of the programmer or start over. Just today (three years after getting the phone!) I read the manual closely and it looked like there was SUPPOSED to be a pause function. Indeed there is! If you select Entertainment --> Video Player --> Select Video to play a video (instead of the route mentioned above) then the Pause Button (on the left side of the screen) works as it is supposed to. There is a bug in the software that the pause button is not enabled when playing videos via the other route. I hoe this post helps SOMEONE out there.! Let me know if it did.
