IPhone :: Voicemail Locks Up - Cannot Pause Or Hang Up
Mar 26, 2012
Do not have a phone cover and my phone keeps locking up everytime I check my voicemail. Cannot pause or hang up. Calls do the same thing sometimes. Can not hang up a call!
After I downloaded the new OS months ago, I noticed that every time I hung up the phone, it locks and I have to enter my password. I tried to disable my password function I can't do it either.
Every time i lock the screen the SIM locks as well, meaning I have to enter the SIM pin code every time I unlock the phone! Also no one can call me since the SIM is locked. This happened once in a while on 1.6 but since my update to 2.1 this morning it happens every time.
I got an iphone 4s in November 2011. Beginning in February, my Visual Voicemail started disappearing from my phone without me deleting it. It has happened 4 times. It does not go into a deleted folder, it is just gone. I started paying attention to the dates of the messages, wondering if it automatically deleted a message after 30 days. But today my messages from April 12 were gone. I can't find anyone else who has this problem! Sprint is my carrier.
I have very poor cell reception in my home. Unfortunately, I am a support analyst and work from a home office. I want to forward calls from my cell phone to my desk phone. Problem is, i have an extension that needs to be dialed.
When I put the phone number in the Call Forwarding Screen (Settings/Phone/Call Forwarding), it will not allow me to add a pause. I can add a "+" but this does not achieve my goals of Dial number, Pause, Enter Extension.
My daughter adjusted a volume lock setting or something and my headphones worked. I get sound really good; it's just the bluetooth volume and pause control isn't set correctly.
I only have purchased songs on my iPhone. The music player has jammed--won't play anything. I can see the songs but the play/pause button does nothing. I can advance to the next song (still doesn't play) but I can't move back to the previous song. I've tried resetting to no avail.
Searching for an app that hides or lock SMS messages but the person that receive the message don't have a iPhone or a smart phone. I would to have app that would send my private SMS messages to a different location.
I've been working with my Itunes library and may have screwed something up...starting today, whenever I sync my Iphone with Itunes and go to the Music Tab, Itunes locks up?
Just updated to iOS 8.1.2 on my iPhone 5... getting the same problem that people were reporting after the iOS7 update:Â front cam is either gray or black or fuzzy, and locks up the camera app when switching to the front cam. Â
Can't switch back to the main cam.
Can't take a pic.
All other controls seem fine. Can change to video, square, time lapse... still dead of course.
Info: iPhone 5, iOS 8.1.1, update to 8.1.2 front cam lockup
I activated more than an hour ago. Everything seemed to go well, the voice told me it would be activated in 20 minutes. I still show "no service" and the business activations line tells me my business is important to them and then it hangs up on me. My old SIM died immediately, so in the mean time I am without cellular service.
When I was talking to her this morning, she hit end call but I was still able to hear her. Obviously, the call did not end when she pressed end call. So, I ended the call on my phone. She called me back 45 minutes later from a land line and said that her iphone still said she was on the original call with me. It showed we had been connected for that entire 45 minutes, and the time was still counting upward.
I had her restart the phone and that ended the call. When she called me back a little while later, I had her end the call, but I could still hear her after she hit end call.
both my father and I are experiencing complete iPhone lookups when using Siri to create or respond to messages that come in. It is not completely consistent, but most often, if we receive a text or iMessage and attempt to "reply" via Siri, the phone locks up on the send portion. Siri goes through the prompts of what would you like to say, then reads the message back and prompts to send. When we reply to "send", Siri then states "Alright, I'll send the message, but the mic indicator keeps circling and the entire iPhone 4S locks up where only a hard reboot will clear it. This can happen when on the lock screen or home screen. This situation also happens when you ask Siri to generate a message, but typically not until a couple of messages have gone back and forth leveraging Siri then the phone again locks up on the "send" portion in the same way. Simply odd and frustrating behavior. There are a few times it will go through ok, but most often it will lock the phone up. That said, the dictation feature never hangs.
The screen of my 3GS iphone went completely white, it´s not really shuted down but I can not see anything. It comes back to normal (although it works quite slowly) when I restart it, until the screen blocks again or after I receive a phone call. I´ve already tried to reset and restore the phone, but it continues with the same problem.
