Jun 17, 2012my iphone 4 is unable to connect to itunes. my laptop is able to recognise it as a camera but that it. ive also tried turning it off and holding the the home button and putting the cable into the phone but again without and success. is there a way around this so that i can connect it to itunes???

I am using my laptop for traveling and I use USB CDMA modem connection to connect to the internet. Recently my wife bought a Blackberry bold 9700 hoping that she could access internet without carrying her laptop while traveling with me, sharing the same connection from my laptop. I have been trying to use WiFi to connect my bold 9700 with my laptop using ad-hoc but it seems that bold 9700 does not support ad-hoc. Therefore I am trying another way to connect to the internet from my BB using my Bluetooth. I have linked my blackberry device through bluetooth and my laptop is currently connected to the internet.
I have been trying to use my wife's BB to connect to the internet using my laptop's bluetooth connection. But I could not get it to work. Before posting here, I have been searching everywhere on the web for a guide but I could not seems to find one. Could anyone guide me on how to share my laptop internet connection so that my BB could access the web using the same connection as my laptop? If bluetooth and WiFi doesn't work is there any other way? Using USB perhaps? In short: Laptop internet Connection > Share using ? and how? > BB's can browse the web without additional data plan.

Jun 23, 2010i just want to confirm that i got this right, because no one seems to be mentioning this. I have an iPhone 3g and there doesn't seem to be any app file sharing in itunes. Is this feature only for the iphone 4 and 3gs. Can someone please confirm or deny this, cause i need to know because im sick and tired of transferring my pdfs via wifi.

I have a mobileme and both of our macbooks are hooked up to my itunes account and I set up both IPhones like this as well. It didn't make sense to me to bother with new one since the $$ comes from the same bank account. So I would like to know if there is a way to share our paid applications? For example a few gaming apps that allow us to play together on our WiFi, but of course I only want to buy them once if at all possible. Any other couples sharing an itunes account (on 2 separate macs and iphones) figured this out?

I purchased this laptop back in January and for the past 5 months it has worked fine connecting to the laptop and syncing with my itunes. Apr 2, 2012I own a Dell, unfortunately, and recently got entriely overcome with viruses to the point where no software could help me get rid of them. In order to solve this problem I reimaged my laptop (which consists of only saving my music and documents on an external hard drvie, wiping clean the entire disk to factory settings and then starting over) Once finished, I redownloaded the newest version of iTunes (10.6 I believe) and plugged in my iPhone 4 to backup it up to my now empty laptop. However, when I plug it in iTunes will recognize my iPhone but will not sync it or back it up because it says, "The iPhone is synced with another iTunes library." It then asks if I would like to erase the iPhone in order to sync it to this library. I clearly do not want to erase my iPhone and I no longer have any saved backups because they were all erased in the reimaging of my laptop. What do I have to do in order to backup my iPhone to my laptop? This is a problem because I do not want to lose everything on my phone if it breaks or gets stolen etc.

1. He has changed email address and can no longer access email relating to apple id
2. He can't remember his apple password
3. I do forgot my password and it appears he has put in the wrong DOB (I have checked twice!)Â
Basically, I cannot turn off 'find my Iphone' which means I cannot restore the phone via iTunes on my laptop.
