IPhone :: Sharing Paid Application From Itunes Account?
Feb 27, 2010
Both my husband and I just got IPhones on friday. My question is this. I have a mobileme and both of our macbooks are hooked up to my itunes account and I set up both IPhones like this as well. It didn't make sense to me to bother with new one since the $$ comes from the same bank account. So I would like to know if there is a way to share our paid applications? For example a few gaming apps that allow us to play together on our WiFi, but of course I only want to buy them once if at all possible. Any other couples sharing an itunes account (on 2 separate macs and iphones) figured this out?
My girlfriend is using my old iPhone 3G that I have her. I activated it through my account on ITunes as well as put the majority of my apps on her phone. She wants her own account now but my question is; will all of the apps on her phone be deleted if she makes her own account and syncs the phone with it?
My apple id used to be connected with visa debit card, now the card isn't active anymore since I stopped funding it. I cannot download free apps using my apple id because it keeps on telling me that I should update payment method. I don't use any credit card anymore. There is no "NONE" option in the payment methods. What do I do now? i only want to get free apps and retain my current apple id bec i need it for updates.
I buy one application on 18 august 2011 and till now ovi store does not gave it to me.I had been charged for that application,I have purchase number as well as transaction id but the ovi store [url]...
I can download free application form ovi store, but not able to download paid application. I am from India and my operator is reliance (nokia support reliance only in India). Whenever I try to download paid application, I am getting error "Connection error. Unable to connect to server. Connection failed, please try again".I have enough balance in my account
i just want to confirm that i got this right, because no one seems to be mentioning this. I have an iPhone 3g and there doesn't seem to be any app file sharing in itunes. Is this feature only for the iphone 4 and 3gs. Can someone please confirm or deny this, cause i need to know because im sick and tired of transferring my pdfs via wifi.
Can I share my iPhone's iTunes library with my Macbook using HomeShare? Or is only from Macbook to mobile devices? I have set everything up - but my Macbook does not find my iPhone.
I have purchased music mostly from iTunes from my MacBook, a few times from my iPhone directly. When I like to share it in between, some music songs can not get from the Mac to the iPhone, even if I have approved the two to share music in between? I understand that you can share between up to 5 hardware devices owned by yourself.
I want to setup my phone to stream my iTunes on my home computer. My phone has OS 5.1.1 installed and I do not see a menu option for settings>ipod anywhere. Is there something I'm missing to setup Home Sharing? I've already done setup on the computer.
For two songs now i have bought on itunes it only plays for 30 seconds, which is annoying becuase im buying the song not just a preview and its a waste of my money. Its starting to get really annoying now and feel i should get refunfed for the songs that its doing it to. Why would i just want 30 seconds of a song...Can you help me in anyway or figure out why its doing that. I know its not a ringtone its the real song.

My wife and I are upgrading to the iPhone 4 on launch. My wife is new to iPhone, I'm not. Anyone here have experience syncing 2 iPhones to iTunes and application management?
I have apps that I paid for can they be added to her iPhone since it will be using the same Apple iTunes Store ID? What about Apps like Facebook and TweetDeck. Since the main file is the same, will it have problems keeping the data different between the 2 phones? If I sync her phone and then sync mine will my Facebook be logged in as her?
my iphone 4s application icon will not recognize Itunes store. Hence, I cannot obtain all the apps out there. I have been to the Apple Store and to Verizon and I just get the run around.
Firstly, sorry if this is in the wrong section. Please move it if necessary.OK, I live in the UK, and set up a US iTunes account a while ago funded by my US virtual credit card, which seemed to work peferctly well up until about two weeks ago. Now, iTunes tells me that I need to supply a US based funding source, so no major problem, I would simply use US iTunes cards in future. However, the last batch of apps/songs I purchased appears not to have come off my virtual VISA card, but instead has put my iTunes account into a -$24.99 balance.I would like to know the best way to clear this balance, so I can carry on using the account.I tried adding a UK credit card, but it wouldn't accept it, again saying it wasn't US funded.I set up a US PayPal account, with a US address, funded by a UK credit card. The PayPal account is fine. I can send/receive money from it, no problem, and currently have a $30 balance on it.I then tried to use this US PayPal account to fund my US iTunes account, but again, it said the PayPal account needed to be funded from a US funded source. Even though it is a US PayPal account, with a US address, iTunes must still check the actual credit card associated with it and be smart enough to determine that the 16 digit number is not a US credit card number.I even thought the $30 balance on the US PayPal account would be sufficient to clear the iTunes balance, but no, it still wants a US funded source to be linked to PayPal. So, any suggestions on how to clear the negative balance on this account (from the UK) ?What if I was to redeem a $25 US iTunes card against my account. Would that immediately get applied to the negative balance and clear it?Hopefully, some iTunes guru will be able to give me a suggestion or two. Thanks, and sorry for the long post, but I wanted to give as much info as possible as to what I have tried already.
I am trying to set up my iphone to download free apps . I will not be buying any only using free ones and do not want to enter my credit card number so that no one can steal it. How can I set up my account without entering private info?
both my husband and i have iphones so far we have set both up using 1 Itunes account. but we seem to share the same contacts, messages, etc what can i do to keep those things separate
I have one itunes account and am using 2 iphones, is it possible to keep all the "contacts" seperate from the two devices, so that I dont have to have all of my husbands contacts in the phone book? Or do I have to use 2 different itune accounts?
I have my husbands old i phone 4 and he has upgraded to the 4s, but the itunes account was created under my name for both phones. I just wanted to ensure that I don't lose my contacts again.
We are going to be a two iPhone house setup for the first time and had a few questions:
1) Do you use the same iTunes account on both phones? Obviously if I purchase an app I would like my wife to not have to purchase it as well. 2) Do you have to use the same MobileMe account on both phones or can can you just specify a different @me.com email address? 3) Do you get any conflicts with apps showing up on both phones? For example, if I download an app on my iPhone, will is sync to my wife's iPhone if we are on the same iTunes account?
I currently have an iPhone 4, however I have an international trip coming up so I will need to look for an older unlocked iPhone. Would it be possible to link both iPhones to the same iTunes account so I can access the games I purchased.
I've got a couple serious buyers for my iPhone 3g and I'm probably going to sell it today or tomorrow, but how do I disable my iTunes account on my phone? I know they can't download anything without my password, but I still don't like the fact it's still my iTunes account on this phone.
Also, how do I delete all my songs, contacts and apps from the phone (instead of one at a time)? Do I go through iTunes and choose "restore"?
I've never sold an iPhone before, just wanna make sure I don't mess up and leave anything important on it. But I also want to be able to use this information (contacts & apps) on my next iPhone.
I cannot seem to figure out how to get my songs from my itunes account onto my iphone 4G.I can only access the songs when I am within my wi-fi of my imac.
My wife and I both have iTunes accounts.I have been syncing my iPhone 3gs in iTunes using my account on my computer.I also had purchased a few apps from the iTunes Store using my account on my computer. She is syncing her iPad 2 in iTunes using her account on her computer.I recently purchased an android phone and gave my iPhone 3gs to my wife.Is there a way for her to sync the iPhone 3gs on her computer using her iTunes account on which she is also syncing her iPad2?Can she sync the apps on the 3gs that I purchased on my iTunes account on my computer to her iTunes account on her computer? How?
I have a new e-mail address and updated this in my I tunes account on my Mac but also want to do this on my iPhone. I cannot seem to find a way to update it on my iPhone. Tried to find a way to do this while synchronizing but that does not seem to work.
