My son and I share my apple password for itunes. When he receives a "Facetime" request, my phone rings too. What do I need to do to stop this?

They just recently updated to the iOS 5 and now my moms iPhone is texting with iMessage using my dads apple id, is there a way for her to use iMessage w/o it using my dads id?

I'm trying to get some apps but when i try to get in to apple store it says cant connect but I have an iPhone 5c!? even if I have full wifi it still says that it won't connect. Also I saw i had a missed FaceTime call and for some reason it needed my Apple ID password but I'm always in there and it never needs my password. So I type my password...... It doesn't work i do it again it doesn't work! So I reset my password, I type it.

When i'm signing into itunes with my apple i.d it is not always accepting my password keeps asking me to re-enter, the password is correct that i am putting. in when it dose let me on to itunes and i downloads applications and then it asks for my password it's again saying the password is incorrect but it is not. i have even had problems logging on to day via this website.

WE have two iPhone 5s. One is brand new. When we try to us Facetime it rings pm the phone dialed and shows our faces but then it justs says connecting. It never connects to show each other.
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy wife and I both have a 5S running 7.0.2. A while back we started having issues with FaceTime connecting and I was reading that the Apple servers were having issues so I thought it was a temporary thing, but it has continued for months. I was able to use FaceTime on my phone to others, but she could not. Recently, we exchanged phones, and I reloaded ALL of my data and SIM card onto her phone, and vice-versa.  Now I am the one who cannot use FaceTime and she can. I have logged out of the Apple account and resigned in with my ID, rebooted, etc., but nothing allows me to make or receive FaceTime calls. If I try to answer a call, it just stays at "Connecting..." until it times out. If I try to make a call, it just rings and rings and then tells me the other person is not available.Â

i just want to confirm that i got this right, because no one seems to be mentioning this. I have an iPhone 3g and there doesn't seem to be any app file sharing in itunes. Is this feature only for the iphone 4 and 3gs. Can someone please confirm or deny this, cause i need to know because im sick and tired of transferring my pdfs via wifi.

Both my husband and I just got IPhones on friday. My question is this. I have a mobileme and both of our macbooks are hooked up to my itunes account and I set up both IPhones like this as well. It didn't make sense to me to bother with new one since the $$ comes from the same bank account. So I would like to know if there is a way to share our paid applications? For example a few gaming apps that allow us to play together on our WiFi, but of course I only want to buy them once if at all possible. Any other couples sharing an itunes account (on 2 separate macs and iphones) figured this out?

The two iPhone 4s I ordered will be here tomorrow to be activated on a family plan for me and my brother. Email from AT&T with activation instructions mention connecting to iTunes. If they are activated on one iTunes account, can one be transferred to a different iTunes account later? Reason I'm asking is because I'm a telecommuter so will be home and can take care of it all tomorrow. My brother doesn't get home from work until 7:30 pm so wondering if I should wait to let him activate his own phone or not. He has his own computer....I need to ask him if he has an iTunes account.
Does it matter one way or the other? If we keep both on one iTunes account, how do apps work? Do they install on just one phone or will they install on both? Right now I have a bunch of free apps selected but I image one or the other of us will want to buy something eventually.
