2. If my phone is inactive, I get a notification of the request that I can swipe to approve, but it might be buried in a few notifications - requires me to be attentive. If my phone is active, I get a 2-3 second notification - requires me to be responsive quickly.Â
3. If I don't swipe the correct inactive notification (and sometimes if if I do), or if I tap the notification during activity:
    a) sometimes I'm taken to the app store where I can review the app request
    b) sometimes my current activity freezes. I have to power off.
    c) sometimes nothing happens (no freezing, no app store...nothing)Â
4. All in all, our results are about 30/70 success to fail. It's not a really great ratio.Â
5. If I want to find the message due to not being able to immediately respond, I can't. Where is it? Why is this nice-seeming feature so hard to troubleshoot on our own?

Oct 25, 2011I set up my Droid with my original gmail account, I'll call it gmail1. For various reasons I want to have 2 additional gmail accounts so I played around, created them in gmail, I'll call them gmail2 and 3. Cause I wasn't sure what I was doing I ended up with contact lists for each with slightly different info and they all got merged into my contact list on my Droid.So the net is I have a person with 2 addressess, another with 3 birthdays (all the same day, but merged from the 3 accounts. would like my Droid to only sync contacts with gmail1, but the contact list already contains the extra data. Is there a way to eliminate that extra data? I removed the contacts from gmail1 and 3 and synced them to the Droid, but all their stuff still exists in my Droid contact list.

Mar 13, 2010I have a problem just have been noticed recently, that within group chat my comment did not get any response from other members. It was then after asking some members about this matter I've just known that any comment I wrote never appeared on their BBs, so nobody ever read any message from me.It happened within Group Chat only. It is completely okay with inter personal chat.
In trying to overcome this problem I have upgraded the OS from the original 330 to 442 and then to 536 without result.Can someone advise me what to do? Perhaps to change any setting related to this matter?

Motorola Droid X :: Gingerbread Update - Cannot Edit / Delete Any Member In Account Groups
Jun 1, 2011My wife and I both downloaded the new Gingerbread update today on our Droid Xs. Everything went smoothly, and love the interface, cut copy and paste features especially. The only problem I'm facing right now is in contacts we both had e-mailed groups set up. I have over 500 contacts with the business I have. I personally needed to have three groups in my contacts: one for personal, business, and business active.
What has happened after updating Gingerbread is all of our contact "groups" are now in what is called "My account groups". I cannot edit add or delete any member in these groups. Any trick to editing or deleting or adding to the groups in "My account groups"? The only workaround I have found is to create a new group and select each and every member in my contact list again which consists of going through almost 500 contacts and splitting them into three categories.
IPhone :: Upgrade To 4G Through Family Plan?
May 14, 2010It seems that the new (4G) IPhone according to the leaked prototypes has a micro SIM card. So the usual upgrade plan for many (wife has a free upgrade, gets the new phone, which is swapped with the spouses current iIhone) does not work as the physical format of the cards is different.
Any idea if AT&T can transfer the SIM and change the phone numbers so that this is working again. Is this why Apple is doing this? While there is an adapter from micro to normal SIM one has to physically cut the normal sim card down (gulp). Don't want to know what AT&T is saying if you go to them and say the card doesn't work since it was cut down.
