WE have two iPhone 5s. One is brand new. When we try to us Facetime it rings pm the phone dialed and shows our faces but then it justs says connecting. It never connects to show each other.

My daughter has an IPOD touch and I have an Iphone4. We have set facetime up on each device; however, when I try to facetime from the phone to the ipod, it rings but when she hits "accept" it never changes over to connecting. no problem the other way. She calls, it rings, I accept and it connects.

My wife and I both have a 5S running 7.0.2. A while back we started having issues with FaceTime connecting and I was reading that the Apple servers were having issues so I thought it was a temporary thing, but it has continued for months. I was able to use FaceTime on my phone to others, but she could not. Recently, we exchanged phones, and I reloaded ALL of my data and SIM card onto her phone, and vice-versa.  Now I am the one who cannot use FaceTime and she can. I have logged out of the Apple account and resigned in with my ID, rebooted, etc., but nothing allows me to make or receive FaceTime calls. If I try to answer a call, it just stays at "Connecting..." until it times out. If I try to make a call, it just rings and rings and then tells me the other person is not available.Â

I still cannot connect to FaceTime with anyone except my iTouch (under a different Apple ID) and have done ALL of the updates, trouble shooting, and followed every step to anything related to FaceTime the Apple Community suggested. I am at a loss as to what the problem could be...it says it is connecting but it never does and I have to end the call to get it to stop. They all can connect and FaceTime to each other but not to me or from me. I am running the latest iOS system, latest update on all Apps, checked restrictions, push notifications, you name it.

I have always been able to FaceTime locally and internationally. Now it seems international FaceTime use, both incoming and outgoing fails. Connection is fine on local numbers. How can the international connection be solved?

I have an iphone 4and my niece has an iphone 4 . We were discuusing facetime and she has never used it . I have used it only twice . I tried to explain to her how it worked . and i said would try and facetime her sometime when she was home on her wifi network . i checked her phone and facetime was on I face timed her mobile # and it just rang so i assumed she was not there i ended my call to her
Last evening around 10 pm my iphone rang (I never get calls at that time ) when I answered it was a facetime call from her . She was in bed and wanted to know what i wanted . i said she called me . She must have been using her i phone and somehow called me .She was confused as to how she did it

when i receive a call, i answer it and i hear a split second from the caller. The iphone then hangs up the call on its own. This only happens for incoming calls.

Since this afternoon the phone calls that I could answer either on my iMac or iPad, are not available anymore.
When an incoming call reaches my iPhone 6 Plus, the phone rings and I can answer, but I don't get any more the option to answer on my iMac or iPad, because no call shows up.
It was working perfectly until today. Is there any settings to check that?
Been a happy Sprint user since 2005 and have used various dumb phones and smartphones. The Photon is my 3rd Android.I have noticed that each phone , whether smartphone or not, has the same issue that has caused me to miss incoming phone calls here and there - the caller dials my number and hears several rings before my phone actually starts ringing. The phone goes to voicemail before I have the opportunity to answer the phone.The solution for my phones has always been to adjust the Slot Cycle index from the default setting of 2 to the setting of 0. This causes the phone to poll towers more frequently, thus the phone is more quickly aware of a new incoming call. The only negative implication is that the phone goes through battery a bit more quickly during the day...but it's really only a tiny difference. I've done this on my phones, on my spouse's phones, my mom's phone, etc.
Since the Photon's battery life is so much better than my prior phone (EVO 4G) I am very comfortable in adjusting the Slot Cycle index, so I obtained my MSL from Sprint and attempted the adjustment by going to the Dialer:##DATA# ->tap green Dial icon -> to the Data Settings menu...tap Advanced->From there you can see that the Slotted Index is set to 2. So I wanted to change the setting but can't get to it from Menu->Edit->enter MSL code->VerifyI called Sprint about this issue, and in the past they have helped me to change the setting. I have called more than once and have been dealing with the more advanced Tech Support team. No one at Sprint can figure out how to adjust this setting on the Photon.
I've noticed this a couple of times with different contacts on Blackberry Messenger: I send them a message and it gets marked D for delivered. It then shortly thereafter is marked "A" for answered, and I receive a response to my message, all which makes sense. But sometimes I've noticed that my message is marked A, as if they've answered me, but I never receive a message back. Does this mean that they answered me and I just never received the message? That they've received my message and ended the conversation?Just wanting to understand why my message would be marked A when it doesn't appear to have been answered. any ideas?

View 1 Replies View RelatedThis problems appeared 2 weeks ago when I called my friend and he didn't answer my call - what usually happens is a loud short beep and the call is ended - but this time the phone continue beeping and I had to press "End call" to stop the beeping and that continued to happen since then. I tried to restart, remove the battery but the problem persists. I'm not ready to hard reset my phone or to reinstall the os to solve that problem.

Checked all my settings and volume!! Phone still does not ring, this is happening since i reset my iphone and used my ipod touch backup as a restore.
