I have my FaceTime set up on both devices, wifi on full bars, but it says FaceTime failed when I call. I also call from both devices at once and it makes no difference. I know the information is correct.
My daughter has an IPOD touch and I have an Iphone4. We have set facetime up on each device; however, when I try to facetime from the phone to the ipod, it rings but when she hits "accept" it never changes over to connecting. no problem the other way. She calls, it rings, I accept and it connects.
facetime and imessage is not connecting to my friend as it worked before. now again it is not connecting. other than reset the setting is there any option to make it work cos reset the settings didnt work for me?
My wife and I both have a 5S running 7.0.2. A while back we started having issues with FaceTime connecting and I was reading that the Apple servers were having issues so I thought it was a temporary thing, but it has continued for months. I was able to use FaceTime on my phone to others, but she could not. Recently, we exchanged phones, and I reloaded ALL of my data and SIM card onto her phone, and vice-versa.  Now I am the one who cannot use FaceTime and she can. I have logged out of the Apple account and resigned in with my ID, rebooted, etc., but nothing allows me to make or receive FaceTime calls. If I try to answer a call, it just stays at "Connecting..." until it times out. If I try to make a call, it just rings and rings and then tells me the other person is not available.Â
I have iPhone 5 and all other members on plan have iPhone4. I still cannot connect to FaceTime with anyone except my iTouch (under a different Apple ID) and have done ALL of the updates, trouble shooting, and followed every step to anything related to FaceTime the Apple Community suggested. I am at a loss as to what the problem could be...it says it is connecting but it never does and I have to end the call to get it to stop. They all can connect and FaceTime to each other but not to me or from me. I am running the latest iOS system, latest update on all Apps, checked restrictions, push notifications, you name it.
WE have two iPhone 5s. One is brand new. When we try to us Facetime it rings pm the phone dialed and shows our faces but then it justs says connecting. It never connects to show each other.
I have always been able to FaceTime locally and internationally. Now it seems international FaceTime use, both incoming and outgoing fails. Connection is fine on local numbers. How can the international connection be solved?
All of a sudden today I try to make a facetime call with my i4 and call failed right away. I try turning on/off facetime in settings but all I get is "Activation unsuccessful. Turn on facetime to try again." I dont know what the prob is, I didnt install or change anything since a few days ago that facetime calls worked. Im JB on 4.0.1 and also got Facebreak installed. I been fighting with it for 3 hours now. Removed facebreak, reset network settings over 50 times, restarted, toggled airplane mode, facetime on/off and still nothing. Anyone got any suggestions or what is causing this to happen and how to activate facetime without a restore. I already had to do a restore and setup as new 3 times since I got it and its starting to get old.
I just had my first 3G Face Time call tonight. The creator of My3G rocks, it works great. The quality of the call was amazing as I had very good signal strength. It actually froze only once on a 10 minute call while my wifi froze 3 times on a 10 min call.
I can't seem to find anything on this. But apparently when my wife is on a voice call, spontaniously for no apparent reason the call will try to become a facetime call. In other words, she is talking to someone that does or does not have an iphone via voice, and the call gets interrupted as it tries to "dial" as a facetime call. I restored the software and it still does it. how to prevent it?
How can I make a FaceTime call from one country to another( supporsing both parties using iphone 4s). What will be the caller charges. If there is no charges as we use wifi, will there be a charge till connecting the call?
Whenever I attempt to facetime or call someone using the speakerphone the other party can't here me or can barely hear me. The same goes for when I try to create a video. But what's odd is the voice memo feature works to what seems normal and normal phone calls (without speakerphone) also sound fine. Even If I plug in my apple earbuds or third party earbuds the mic works too.
Solutions Attempted - Reset and Restored by iPhone - Checked sound settings - Took off Apple Bumper, clearcoat peices are still on
Recently I noticed this strange behaviour. It does not happen with all phone calls, but it already happened twice since yesterday, I receive a phone call and once I hang up I'm sent to the iPhone's main screen with the green warning bar informing me to click there to return to my Facetime call. If I click I'm sent to the Facetime app.
But notice that I did not make a Facetime call, I received a standard phone call.Â
When I actually use my iPhone 5S for phone calls, my cheek will hit the facetime button and then the call will disconnect. I don't use face time and do not want it on my call screen. Is there a way to get rid of it?Â
I did a search for My3g (from Modmyi) and it shows, I clicked install. After installation, i turned off the wifi and made a facetime call but it still says I need to be connected.Am I missing a setting, I was reading online and it says I have to pay for the app but I click install on the top left and it didnt ask me to purchase.
