Since i down loaded a song my iTunes has not worked properly. It wont sync with my phone and keeps saying the connection has timed out.

How do i get it to respond without restoring the phone to new ? there is no option to restore with backup as i have not backed up any of the data on the phone

I recently upgraded from the iphone 3g to iphone 4s,my iphone 3g has always connected to my laptop fine, which i got my new iphone my laptop just wouldn't recognise the new phone, it would be displayed in my computers devices yet unable to load in itunes, the phone doesn't charge by the laptop,the USB port and USB cable are fine,tried it on my friends Apple Mac and phone connected straight away i have turned off windows firewall and my security but still doesn't work,i would really really appriciate some help so that i can sync with my laptop!!7

For a few days now my iPhone 4 is not connecting properly to my laptop. I purchased this laptop back in January and for the past 5 months it has worked fine connecting to the laptop and syncing with my itunes. Now all of a sudden the iPhone will not connect to itunes or the laptop at all. I have tried restarting the ihpone, using different usb ports, tried different cables, restarted the laptop, reinstalled itunes several times and even checked if it was a different software that was the problem.

I own a Dell, unfortunately, and recently got entriely overcome with viruses to the point where no software could help me get rid of them. In order to solve this problem I reimaged my laptop (which consists of only saving my music and documents on an external hard drvie, wiping clean the entire disk to factory settings and then starting over) Once finished, I redownloaded the newest version of iTunes (10.6 I believe) and plugged in my iPhone 4 to backup it up to my now empty laptop. However, when I plug it in iTunes will recognize my iPhone but will not sync it or back it up because it says, "The iPhone is synced with another iTunes library." It then asks if I would like to erase the iPhone in order to sync it to this library. I clearly do not want to erase my iPhone and I no longer have any saved backups because they were all erased in the reimaging of my laptop. What do I have to do in order to backup my iPhone to my laptop? This is a problem because I do not want to lose everything on my phone if it breaks or gets stolen etc.

ever since unpacking, my laptop wont recognize my new iphone 5S 64GB. I tried reinstall several times of itunes and assorted apple services and drivers, restarts of win7 64 bit ultimate and iphone too, no luck. I tried different ports for USB (without other things attached), different sides, different cables - nothing.Â
All other ipads and iphones we have connect perfectly and are recognized in itunes. I even had a home 64bit version of win7 on same laptop, and it is recognized there, but I cant do anything with that version since its damaged. I tried all apple support steps in several documents. I even tried parallel connected iphones to see how the new one behaves in terms of charging (charging also doesnt work) and I got this:Â
1. both iphones start charging on laptop restart.Â
2. both stop charging in middle of windows loading.Â
3. When windows are loaded, old iphone normaly recharges and is seen in itunes, new one not. New one from the box NEVER had option to trust computer.Â
I hear a pluging and unpluggin sound when I connect my usb or lightning connector for that new iphone. but nothing further. I tried stopping and restarting services etc...Looks to me like my iphone remembers my laptop AND win instalation and doesnt want to connect to them.Â
