my iphone 4 is unable to connect to itunes. my laptop is able to recognise it as a camera but that it. ive also tried turning it off and holding the the home button and putting the cable into the phone but again without and success. is there a way around this so that i can connect it to itunes???

I recently upgraded from the iphone 3g to iphone 4s,my iphone 3g has always connected to my laptop fine, which i got my new iphone my laptop just wouldn't recognise the new phone, it would be displayed in my computers devices yet unable to load in itunes, the phone doesn't charge by the laptop,the USB port and USB cable are fine,tried it on my friends Apple Mac and phone connected straight away i have turned off windows firewall and my security but still doesn't work,i would really really appriciate some help so that i can sync with my laptop!!7

For a few days now my iPhone 4 is not connecting properly to my laptop. I purchased this laptop back in January and for the past 5 months it has worked fine connecting to the laptop and syncing with my itunes. Now all of a sudden the iPhone will not connect to itunes or the laptop at all. I have tried restarting the ihpone, using different usb ports, tried different cables, restarted the laptop, reinstalled itunes several times and even checked if it was a different software that was the problem.

I have just upgraded and got a new iphone 4s. When i plug it into the the computer the phone does not make the noise that it should (the same noise when you put it on charge) the computer does not recognise the phone as any form of device or driver, the computer doesnt even charge the iphone. I have opened itunes manually and tried to force connection this way but that didnt work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of itunes and can also confirm that the apple mobile support is installed, I even repaired it just to be sure.I have tried 3 different cables and 3 different USB ports but still nothing.What makes this even more frustrating is that the computer and itunes does recognise my partners iphone 4.

The initial connection via usb managed to install the USB Composite Device driver, but failed to install the Motorola Networking Interface and the Motorola ADB Interface. Nothing else happens. Whenever I connect or disconnect I do get the notification sound, but again nothing else. It does not even appear in my computer. I tried system restore to a previous point to remove the drivers and try again, but on the initial connection of the device exactly the same thing happened again. I have tried installing motocast but have had no results with that either.

It's either the phone, the ovi software.I have the following: Nokia e72 < acts as modem via cable or bluetooth > laptop..When it acts over modem via either cable or bluetooth, I can only access certain sites eg.I can't access google, or msn messenger for instance
I can access wikipedia, and my ISPs website as an example.Originally I thought it was because it was only able to access australian servers, but this isn't the case. My browser just seems unable to get a connection to certain sites/servers ever - it times out when i try to view google - but only when my phone is the link to the internet.On the phone, I can access every site/server that I want. But not on my laptop via the phone. When I'm on another internet connection (home or work etc), I have no issues connecting to those sites/servers from my laptop.Browsing google over other connections has not helped me find a solution yet. The connection to the net is stable - it doesn't drop out and can remain connected indefinitely.I'm running:

I don't usually connect my iTunes to my iPhone, so when I started trying today to transfer music from my iTunes library to my iPhone, neither my computer nor my iTunes detected my iPhone as a device. When I connected it to my computer, it does show that it's charging, but it just doesn't show up on my compupter at all. Even when I tried the iTunes-Wifi sync, it couldn't detect my computer.
