Why would my iPhone send messages, text and emails, videos and pictures quickly for months, then, inexplicably, for a period of two weeks, consistently, take 30 seconds or minutes to send any length text, email or photos? And it doesn't go any faster whether I am on my carrier network, or the broadband wifi.

What can I do to make it check the e-mail automatically?
I recently had a warranty replacement on my HTC One, and after using the HTC transfer app to move my data over, contacts with a long history of text messages are now super slow when I try to send or receive messages, or even look at them. I don't want to simply delete the text history -- ideally I'd like to 'archive' them in such a way that I can open them on demand rather than having them open each time I try to send a text message to them.
Want to clear old messages from the Android messaging app so that it will run faster, but don't want to completely lose the message history.
I have ams messages from the last 6 years and would like to know if it can cause the phone to lag or slow down. I have about 20000 messages and a few 1000s of emails on my phone.

Updated my S6 Edge(5.1.1) a couple of days ago...messaging is slow on the keys and sending lags when typing. Also when playing a song with headphones/bluetooth connection the song skips..not sure how to fix this?

I just bought a lumia 950XL dual-sim from Microsoft, and it is a great phone. However, I am having a lot of issues with the messaging app right now. It takes a very long time to load the app and the individual conversations. When sending texts it takes 3-10 seconds before sending. I deleted all the texts on my phone, which I had backed up and loaded.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm a new E66 user, I set up my email on Nokia messaging and started using today. I'm using an IMAP email server. I receives emails into my phone, they are kept in the server but after outlook receives the emails, they are deleted from the server. And after that emails are deleted from my phone immediately. It doesn't wait for 3 days or so.
And also I can't change "3 days" option from the options menu, it says "Setting can not be changed!"when I tried to.
Because I'm a new user, maybe I'm doing something wrong but I tried the options and couldn't find anything about it.I updated phonesoftware and download the last version of Nokia Messaging.
I have had the device for about 3 months and I have never had problems sending emails before, however over the last 3 days when I try and send an email it just sits in my outbox and then after a while it says failed. I receive emails fine so this is baffling me. I've noticed a similar problem was addressed however that is specific to getting an error 500 message and I don't get that. I tried the work through anyway but it still didn't solve the issue.

We have a bunch of E72 syncing against Exchange 2003.Even if we set the sync to "sync always" it takes about 10-15 min for an email to appear in the phone. Is that what we can expect?I am used to BlackBerry where the emails appear faster than in Outlook.

we have a micro soft exchange server without BES and I wanted to know if there is anyway of syncing my phone wireless with mail/contact/calendar/task etc - its seems to be doing this know but very slowly, my handset is displaying read & unread emails but its not what is on my work PC! Does Blackberry offer an application for this? To receive emails on a Blackberry do you need to a BES? I thought that owning a Blackberry was going to revolutionize my emailing experience, might just go back to the iPhone!

How can I speed up or adjust the settings so that I can receive my emails quickly. If someone sends me an email it can take up to 15 minutes to receive the email. On my old Rant I received the emails instantly. Is there a 3rd party email that is available. Please help not really wanting to go back to my Rant phone but need phone that will deliver my work emails quick. Work emails are not on any kind of exchange server either. Just simple MS Outlook through our local cable company.

I have been informed that when I send an email with an attachment (whether its "attach file" or "send picture as email") the attachment is not on the recipients email.
I have tried emailing myself pictures from my camera to save on my laptop, and there is just no attachment on Outlook! I have logged into my gmail on web browser too, and still no attachment.
Does anyone know how to resolve this, i have tried selecting the size as "small" when prompted to see if that makes a difference.
I recently set up a new email address, i cant remember ever having problems before doing this.
I have a user with a Bold. If he looks at a pic and then tries to email it, it kicks back that the service failed. However if he composes a new message in the email app and then attaches the pic, it will send...any ideas?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Torch 9810, provider is Rogers. For some reason now when I try to email a picture I receive a popup that says "the attachment file may be reduced in size". Then it takes my nice high resolution photo and reduces the file size to under 100kb. The picture file size is much higher but the phone just reduces the file size.
I believe at some point when I emailed a picture a pop up came up and asked if I wanted to reduce the file size of the picture. I said yes but I think there was a check box that makes this choice apply to all pictures I try to email.
I can't find anywhere in any of the options where I can reset that decision and have the phone send full size pictures when I email them.
Is there anyway to either email a string of text messages or even download them to your computer. I've tried everything aside from getting a holder for the mini SD card.
View 6 Replies View RelatedThe camera on the Droid X is pretty good..high res...maybe not as good as the SAMSUNG I just gave up to by the Droid but good. With my SAMSUNG and the phone I had before, if I sent a picture to an e-mail address it was just one button click to resize it for e-mail (would take the 3MP and resize to 100-180K which is much easier to download and views just fine on phone or laptop...with the Droid X it does not automatically give you the sizing option and if you go to the edit function it only lets you go down to 1MP...that is almost 10 times the size it should be for sending e-mail...really making people mad that I send pics too...is there a way to resize for e-mail (100-180K)
