BB Bold 9700 :: Emailing - Sending An Attachment?
Jul 21, 2010I have been informed that when I send an email with an attachment (whether its "attach file" or "send picture as email") the attachment is not on the recipients email.
I have tried emailing myself pictures from my camera to save on my laptop, and there is just no attachment on Outlook! I have logged into my gmail on web browser too, and still no attachment.
Does anyone know how to resolve this, i have tried selecting the size as "small" when prompted to see if that makes a difference.
I recently set up a new email address, i cant remember ever having problems before doing this.

Nov 19, 2012I have a Torch 9810, provider is Rogers. For some reason now when I try to email a picture I receive a popup that says "the attachment file may be reduced in size". Then it takes my nice high resolution photo and reduces the file size to under 100kb. The picture file size is much higher but the phone just reduces the file size.
I believe at some point when I emailed a picture a pop up came up and asked if I wanted to reduce the file size of the picture. I said yes but I think there was a check box that makes this choice apply to all pictures I try to email.
I can't find anywhere in any of the options where I can reset that decision and have the phone send full size pictures when I email them.

Dec 23, 2011The camera on the Droid X is pretty good..high res...maybe not as good as the SAMSUNG I just gave up to by the Droid but good. With my SAMSUNG and the phone I had before, if I sent a picture to an e-mail address it was just one button click to resize it for e-mail (would take the 3MP and resize to 100-180K which is much easier to download and views just fine on phone or laptop...with the Droid X it does not automatically give you the sizing option and if you go to the edit function it only lets you go down to 1MP...that is almost 10 times the size it should be for sending e-mail...really making people mad that I send pics too...is there a way to resize for e-mail (100-180K)

Feb 27, 2010I am in the process of experiencing my first smart phone ever! Three days ago I made the decision to get the Droid Eris. I was in love with this phone the first 24 hours and then I started to think of my other options. The Moto Droid is out for me just because I really hate the size of the device... Just not for me. I know am deciding on either the BB Tour or keeping my Droid Eris. I have some following questions that hopefully you can all chip in.
I am mainly going to use my phone for texting/emailing with the whole uploading pictures to facebook and making the occasional tweet. I just graduated college so also looking for a very reliable phone for my "finding a J O B" process. So far the Droid Eris seems to be a very capable phone but there is some hiccups in the facebook/twitter apps and when I am typing on the keyboard there seems to be some spotty lag.
So my questions for you are.
Does the Tour experience spotty lag while texting/emailing?How are the facebook and twitter apps for the blackberry, from my very native knowledge of BB I have heard great things about them.
Is BBM what it is cracked up to be... all my friends just swear by it.Everything I run is google from gmail to calender. Is the BB able to sync like the eris did to all my contacts?Is the BB able to do google talk and is it instantly or is there some delay in receiving emails and msgs through gmail.

Oct 22, 2012This happens on my RAZR M as well. Take a picture, from the gallery select it and "share" via GMail - it just sits there saying "sending" - never goes out. I've force-stopped the app, toggle airplane mode, and rebooted the phone. Sometimes it just starts working, other times not.

We have a business system that we purchased that has a module where after the tech finishs their work the customer is supposed to sign off on the work performed. The software company is telling me that I need to get an external signature pad which is bulky and an added expense. Jun 16, 2012The point where the USB cable is attached to the pin on phone, the plastic sleeve gets cracked. I have two such charger cables that have gone bad and the inner wire is exposed. I am facing a risk of short circuit. Having approached the service station, they refused to cover it under warranty. I was surprised as they labeled it as 'Physical damage' and not 'poor quality material used to make cable'. The cables I use for other phones and computers have not cracked under similar usage. More than having to pay for a new cable, I am utterly disappointed with the service of Apple, which is acutally a surprise to me. I buy Apple products for their unmatched quality, and unparalled customer care. With this incident, both have faltered in my mind.

I have downloaded the file to what I thought to me the picture folder but it does not show up.
