IPhone :: Showing Only Restore Option Not Backup Option?
May 13, 2012My iphone asked if I wanted to update and I hit yes. It said to plug into ITunes so I did. My only option is to "restore". It didn't ask if I want to backup first.I don't have service on phone and I don't want to restore. How can I go back to "not" restoring?

Jan 27, 2012i am trying to download the new messenger 6 on my curve 8520. I am going into app world, finding the blackberry messenger app and clicking it but its not giving me the download or upgrade option. Only options are reviews, screenshot and summery. How do I upgrade to the new version? I have also tried to upgrade and download through my browser but all links just take me back to my blackberry messenger app with no download/upgrade option. I have checked my memory and have 106.4mb of free app memory so this should be enough as you only need 4.0mb for the new version.

I have done some reading and see that I need to downgrade to the previous bundle, but I do not have the options on my Bold 9900 as described by most of these support forums. Thus being: On the Home screen or in a folder, click the Options icon. Click Device > Software Updates.If you recently updated your BlackBerry Device Software, to return to the previous software version, press the key > View Result > Downgrade.To downgrade to an earlier software version, scroll to a software version that the icon appears beside. Click Perform Downgrade. Follow the instructions on the screenI do not have the View Result option.

BB Software :: Calendar Software Upgrade Option?
Sep 23, 2010I currently have the Blackberry 9700. I would like to see an option added under the calendar feature. With this phone you can have more them one calendar, which is great. You can set your default calendar; however when you go to add a new entry you can select one of the other calendars. The feature I would like to see is having the option to move an entry from one calendar to another. As it stands now, if I enter an appointment on one calendar, but need to switch it to another calendare, I have to make a new entry and select the other calendar. What I would like to see is when you open the entry to make changes (ie: time, date, location, etc.), you have to the option to move the appointment to a different calendar. So maybe in the next software upgrade an application can be written for this calendar feature.

Just back it up.INSTEAD of simply backing it up, our relative did something, I don't know what, but called me to ask why nothing restored but 4 songs. All of her data is gone!
I don't know what was done or why. I am in a different state, and they did the opposite of what I instructed. Is there ANY way to restore backed up data IF it was indeed backed up through iTunes? They're using a Windows computer. Is it somewhere in a system directory? Can Apple tech support help? I'm livid right now because I assured my mom that all would be fine if she did what I told her to do.

Jul 7, 2010I have my gmail account set up on my iphone 4 and I noticed that if I go to:
Settings -> Mail, Contacts and Calerndars -> choose my account.
There is an option to sync my calendar. I assume this syncs my calendar items from my iphone with my google calendar? How does that work? When does it sync? When I dock my phone to sync with my PC or does it sync over the air? Does it work well? When I enabled it. It asked if I wanted to keep the data from my local iphone calendar. I don't want to lose any data so I said yes then it said that this would likely cause duplicate data. Whats the deal there? It would be cool if my calendar data synced in a smooth way with my google calendar but I would just like some additional information so I am sure I know what I am doing here.
