BB Curve :: No Download Or Upgrade Option

i am trying to download the new messenger 6 on my curve 8520. I am going into app world, finding the blackberry messenger app and clicking it but its not giving me the download or upgrade option. Only options are reviews, screenshot and summery. How do I upgrade to the new version? I have also tried to upgrade and download through my browser but all links just take me back to my blackberry messenger app with no download/upgrade option. I have checked my memory and have 106.4mb of free app memory so this should be enough as you only need 4.0mb for the new version.

I tried to upgrade to 5.1.1 from 5.0.1 but the download always shows error after 177 mb download, though I have backed up my content. What is the problem with the download?

I upgraded my Tour 9630 (unlocked) to OS 5.0. I now have no MMS option. I've tried a battery pull, registering the hosting table again, etc. I am on AT&T network. Everything else seems to be working fine.

After the latest upgrade to OS 7.1 bundle 2061 the 2G only option is no longer available. I have done some reading and see that I need to downgrade to the previous bundle, but I do not have the options on my Bold 9900 as described by most of these support forums. Thus being: On the Home screen or in a folder, click the Options icon. Click Device > Software Updates.If you recently updated your BlackBerry Device Software, to return to the previous software version, press the key > View Result > Downgrade.To downgrade to an earlier software version, scroll to a software version that the icon appears beside. Click Perform Downgrade. Follow the instructions on the screenI do not have the View Result option.

I have always assigned my left convience key to lock my screen. After updating to 545 I have lost the option to even choose the keypad lock opt. Does neone know where this went? I updated with the official not the beta. Also I notice volume adjustments while on a call is not precise when lowering or raising.

I have a Nokia N97 on T-Mobile UK with software v21.0.045 This is the latest version I believe. When I check Nokia's website on how to download the free sat nav version of maps my phone won't let me do it. Nokia says I have to go to applications then sw updates. I do not have a software update option via applications. I can check for sw updates via settings - phone - phone mgmt - device updates - options - check for updates. It appears to receive information from t-mobile but does not display anything on the phone. No options to download ovi maps or anything else. Is there a direct download link that i can simply just click and then install the ovi maps 3.03 from my pc suite's application manager.

I recently updated my 5800's firmware and I a now find that the FULL page qwerty keyboard is no longer an option for inputting text. Can anyone confirm this? Can I go back to the old firmware? I am visually impaired the full page keyboard was very useful.

I searched forums for a week now, and have tried every offered solution...NONE have worked. I am at the point of replacing it, but would rather get a droid than pay 600$ for a 4s. Along with the apps I am having trouble connecting to the cellular network, which is likely more to do with network than phone; though I haven't had any of these problems before upgrading to IOS 5.1.1

When trying to download or upgrade an App the system loops. When I press the download or try and change my payment options I have to verify my blackberry acount , this then goes to the "Blackberry App World Membership Addendum (uk)" screen which have to scroll down to clock the "I Accept" button - this takes me right back to the start of the procedure. I have tried downloading the App world on my PC to alter it, and I have tried resesting the App Cashe. nothing works?

After upgrading to OS 6, I lost many icons including BlackBerry apps world, BlackBerry maps and a couple others. I am also not able to download any new apps. I get an error message when visiting the apps page telling me that my browser is not supported (strange as it is a BlackBerry site). When I've tried to download BlackBerry apps world again, I get a warning that it is already installed and that if I continue, my device may cease to work properly.

I upgraded my iphone 4 to ios 5.1.1 using itunes. After which I started using my phone as usual.
I was not able to upgrade or download apps from AppStore using wi-fi or 3G.
When I select any app for upgradation or downloading it starts, But It stops at 'waiting' stage , And never goes to 'loading' stage.

Recently I have updated my X10 mini to Android 2.1. Every thing seems working fine except the Android Market app. I can search, and browse Android Market. But I am failing to download ANY app from the Market. The download icon does appear; but after a while it says "download paused". I searched through different forums and found that one very common suggestion is to boot the phone by pressing "Power" and "Home" key. No luck by booting either.

Over the last few weeks I tried to download or upgrade apps but it always fails. I always get the message: "Download was unsuccessful please try again". When I go to the android market and look at the help front page there is a link called "Download Issues Troubleshooting page". The fix described in here does not work for my phone.
How do I make my phone work properly again.
Also, I am on Android 1.6 but I cannot upgrade to 2.2. The PC Companion says that I have an up to date phone.
