Xperia Ray :: Getting Camera Sound Off Option After Upgrade It To Ics?
Jul 21, 2012
I am not getting camera sound off option after upgrade it to ics.Even its in silent mode it is making noise and the time of taking screen shoot it is making sound.how can i shutdown that sound in my xperia ray.
Please is somewhere available a silent camera for Nokia 6220 Classic? This 5 mb camera is great but it makes so horrible noise that it is impossible to take great photos while e.g. my puppy starts to follow that sound and stops playing! It is no way to make this camera silent in this phone, but I know that a good program download would solve this problem. Where might I download one?
when I SMS then I find Sound Recorder from Add Sound option in my XPERIA X10 Mini, but is there any way to record a sound separately, because if it can only happen for SMS then it is so odd, and if not separate sound recording option is not available then what is the best application for this.
I usually use smart connect and NFC tag to fully silent my phone at night time (no vibrate or sound), yet the only option in smart connect is sound, vibrate and priority, and priority mode vibrates. I realise I can now change to full silent mode from the lock screen with the volume button, but i thought it would be an option to put into smart connect as a selection.
Ever since Lollipop upgrade I see many issues with my Xperia Z2. But most of all that makes me mad is that the upgrade changed my notification sounds I had customized. not only that now I can not select my favorite sounds for specific notification. can only get sounds and ringtones that are on Lollipop by default.
I recently purchase Xperia X10 mini, the problem is when I shoot photos from the camera, I am unable to find zoom option. How can I find that option or is there to install any other software.
Whenever I take a photo and then either exit it (the camera) or tap onto the photo I have just taken, the camera makes this small click sound. It's quite annoying actually. I was wondering whether it's just my Ray or whether it's a norm?
How can I turn off the sound which is made while the camera is taking a photo? It doesn't help when I mute the mobile telephone. My mobile telephone is SonyEricsson Xperia Neo (Android 4.0.4).
So, I've always been on the stock GB rom it shipped with and had no issues. I decide to update to ICS but since the update doesn't show up in PC companion or Update Service or OTA, I get flashtool and the stock .431 ftf and flash my mini pro (SI 1249-0751) to ICS (and also plug in a fresh new 32GB microSDHC card to celebrate). A bit laggy, crashes of the contact viewer when searching throught the dialpad, but that's okay, I can use a different launcher (Zeam) and dialer app (Dialer One). But when I open the camera app and try to take a picture with the front camera ...... there's no option. It's gone.
Another camera app, no front camera.Skype recognises only the rear camera. No front camera.I open the service menu (*#*#SERVICE#*#* i.e *#*#7378423#*#*) and test the secondary camera, and it says "This device does not support the function". The primary works fine. All other supported features work fine. Light sensor (next to the front cam) responds too. (But the Proximity switch doesn't. Not sure if it should. Perhaps that could hint at a hardware problem with the connections from the bottom half to the top slider part.)
I scout the forums and find that there's some some strange relationship between the SD card and the front camera for the Ray (or some other device) . With the old SD card, still no luck.I downgrade to GB. Still not working. Front cam missing.I unlock the bootloader and install a custom rom (CyanogenMod 9.0.0 Stable mango).Still not working. Front cam missing.I reinstall GB, relock the bootloader in the hope of an OTA update and do finally get one (to ICS). I update it. Still not working. Front cam missing.I don't think it's (gulp) hardware. There hasn't been any drop onto a hard surface.
Upgraded my Xperia Ray to ICS last night and when I went to test the face unlock, it only prompted to take a picture with the rear camera. Also the phone camera shows the same screen, without the icon to switch to the rear camera.
I bought my Xperia x10i 2 weeks ago and got the manual update to android 2.1 from SE service centre and I rebooted the phone and now just tried using the camera and guess what, it says Camera Not Available.
I have an Xperia Active ST17i, android versions 4.0.4, and ever since I bought it I'm trying to find a way to turn off the sound but now luck. I have no option in my camera application. I read on different forums that I need to modify my build.prop file. Can't do that since I can't root my phone. I found the file, I found the line that I need to modify, but can't touch it ofc. I tried factory reset, in the hopes that it would put the camera sound from 1 to 0, but still no luck. I tried to put the phone on silet. Every application is silent, expet for the freakin` camera!!
So how the heck do I turn off that freakin` sound?
Yesterday i updated my phone to android 2.1 through pc companion and it took almost half an hour. It was a success but when i switched it on, after sony ericsson written on it, it shows a camera logo sitting on top of a logo of the phone with an arrow pointing towards the phone, somethin like this: the arrow was glowing, i think it was to do something with the camera. I couldn't figure it out and after about 3-4 minutes, it booted up and the phone started. After that when i opened the camera, i found out that the picture was too much pixelated and bad quality even worse than before the update. i tried shooting some video in HD mode, the video also was too bad quality.
I have noticed on this on my Sony Ericsson Xperia ray mobile phone that it makes some kind of sound on the camera application . whenever I try to take the picture or while exiting the application or if I tab the photo that is just taken . it like the small click sound but it very irritating . I am afraid is this my phone or there are some having the same problem on their phone, whether it's a norm .
I just bought this phone 2 days ago from sony xperia here in the philippines. I can't seem to restore my camera shutter sound. I have my ringtone, media and alarm volumes to max. I'm not in silent mode either and the camera shutter sound settings in camera is set to 1 or 2 or 3
I am looking for a way to disable the startup sound when launching the camera using the dedicated camera button. I have checked the settings and have only found an option to disable the shutter sound while taking a picture but not the startup sound.
for some new Sony Ericsson phones (I know the W995 has this problem for sure) there is no option to turn off the camera sound or the focus sound, even when silent mode is on. Here I am going to guide you through a solution to overcome this. What we are going to do is replace the sound files for the camera sound and the focus sound with a sound which is silent, using A2uploader. 1. Download this .rar file I have uploaded with 3 sound files, namely camerafocus.3gp, camerashutter2.3gp and camerashutter2_rer.3gp 2. Currently you can choose the following sounds 1. Camera shutter 2. Bear can opening 3.Tennis ball 4. Laser The files in the .rar have been created to replace the Beer can opening sound, however if you want to keep this one, then change the number on the end e.g to replace the Laser sound the two files would be camerashutter4.3gp and camerashutter4_rer.3gp Although please note to replace the Camera shutter sound the number on the end is not 1, but is no number at all e.g. camerashutter.3gp and camerashutter_rer.3gp3.Now you connect your phone to A2uploader (see Tutorial on main website for how to do this) and go to tpa/presets/system/sound and drop all 3 files into this folder. If you want to keep the sound you're replacing right click on it and click 'read' this will create a folder ph_out with this file in it.4.Shut down A2uploader, switch on phone and bobs your uncle! You can also add other sounds, I created a Gavin and Stacey one here but I will happily accept requests for others.Hope this helps! I upgraded my Tour 9630 (unlocked) to OS 5.0. I now have no MMS option. I've tried a battery pull, registering the hosting table again, etc. I am on AT&T network. Everything else seems to be working fine.
