Please is somewhere available a silent camera for Nokia 6220 Classic? This 5 mb camera is great but it makes so horrible noise that it is impossible to take great photos while e.g. my puppy starts to follow that sound and stops playing! It is no way to make this camera silent in this phone, but I know that a good program download would solve this problem. Where might I download one?
when i open the main camera slide, there is black screen shown and cant view anything ... the after a while, this sentence appears: "an unexpected error occurs, please switch the device off and restart".. what happens to it? how to solve this problem~~ thanks in advanced...
I am not getting camera sound off option after upgrade it to ics.Even its in silent mode it is making noise and the time of taking screen shoot it is making sound.how can i shutdown that sound in my xperia ray.
Greetings to all! I from Russia. Therefore at me bad English. I have nokia 6220c. At it buttons "1,4,7, *,>, <badly function, ok", in other words work when will want, when I have removed buttons and have started to press a straight line they have earned!!! And after a while... 5 minutes or 5 hours (has not found dependence) they do not work again
I bought my 808 in Singapore, a country where other brands of smartphones come with an option to turn off the shutter sound eg HTC Desire S or an option to turn off the shutter sound when phone is in silent mode eg Samsung Galaxy S2. I was disappointed upon purchase of 808 to find that no such option existed.I would like to request Nokia to consider releasing a software update that allows users to turn off the shutter sound either as a setting or when phone is in silent mode. This was what Sony Ericsson did for its K700i model many years ago. There is a need to consider the varied needs of users eg the need not to awaken the baby when getting a shot. I wonder if this post is sufficient to convey my request to Nokia or should I make my request known to Nokia in another way that you can suggest?
This is the first time to be here. Just want to know if my Nokia 6220 Classic is one of the free OVI maps as mentioned here: http://maps.nokia.com/explore-services/ovi-maps And if not is there is any possibility to be free?
I've a mailbox (Hotmail -- marked with a '?' not a mailbox icon) that I cannot delete from the list in Messaging. I believe it a relic from where I had it setup then upgraded the software on my phone. I have Nokia Messaging Email software setup and working now and can also create and delete other mailboxes inside of the original Messaging section. I know a reformat will remove it but would rather avoid this if at all possible.
Having done a bit of research, I would just like to clarify things in respect to my phone which is a Nokia 6220 classic, running S60 3rd edition. I double checked the version against the list here: http://www.zedge.net/forum/t/27995/s40-s60-or-s80-find-out-here/
And also in the phone itself. Am I correct to expect that running S60 gives me a good chance of getting the free navigation upgrades that have been talked about here? I'm not in any particular hurry; but if its likely that the upgrade is not coming, then I won't have to check back here every few days. Someone posted elsewhere that upgrades (for S60 devices?) were coming "in the first half of the year". Is that just rumour, or has Nokia said something official about it?
Even though I can use BT fine though PC suite - Whenever I connect my phone it tries to find drivers for three BT peripheral devices - and fails to do so. Is there any way to resolve this?
I've recently updated my firmware version to 05.15, and upon starting Maps (sorry I don't know which version I have currently), I get an error saying "Cannot open application. Get latest version from nokia.com/maps". I've downloaded the appropriate file (selected using the tool on the website), but I cannot install version 3.01 as my phone will not install a .sis file. Is there a .sisx version of Maps which I'm obviously not seeing somewhere? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?
For some reason after upgrading to Belle I have lost the option to switch geo-tagging on in the camera settings. It is just not there where it used to be. I need this for work, that is why I got myself a camera phone with this option.
Anybody have this problem or am I just looking in the wrong place to switch it on / off? It used to be in the camera settings menu, now I have only: image quality - show captured image - default image name - capture tone - memory in use - restore camera settings.
Any possible way to use the front camera in n900, coz i cant see any option for the front cam and for basic camera any option for night vision when shooting ?
could anybody tell me how to turn off the camera sound of my Nokia 5530 XM, i dont like that sound because sometime i need to be quiet to take a snapshot.
On my Nokia 808, in camera preferences, there is no "Camera Sounds" option. Does this mean that the phone that I purchased is for a market other than the USA?
i just bought my nokia e5 last week. i realized that i cannot turn off the sound when i snap pictures with the camera. i've gone to the settings, it only allows for changed between camera tone 1 to tone 4. No way to turn off the sound at all.
Turned the phone to silent mode, but the camera sound remains. Does anyone know how i can get rid of that sound? (as it is quite irritating)
How can I change the camera shutter tone to louder snap sound.I want to change it to some other sound also..Please don't ask me to download other camera apps. I have tried so many but still prefer the original apps which give me the best picture and video always.
for some new Sony Ericsson phones (I know the W995 has this problem for sure) there is no option to turn off the camera sound or the focus sound, even when silent mode is on. Here I am going to guide you through a solution to overcome this. What we are going to do is replace the sound files for the camera sound and the focus sound with a sound which is silent, using A2uploader. 1. Download this .rar file I have uploaded with 3 sound files, namely camerafocus.3gp, camerashutter2.3gp and camerashutter2_rer.3gp 2. Currently you can choose the following sounds 1. Camera shutter 2. Bear can opening 3.Tennis ball 4. Laser The files in the .rar have been created to replace the Beer can opening sound, however if you want to keep this one, then change the number on the end e.g to replace the Laser sound the two files would be camerashutter4.3gp and camerashutter4_rer.3gp Although please note to replace the Camera shutter sound the number on the end is not 1, but is no number at all e.g. camerashutter.3gp and camerashutter_rer.3gp3.Now you connect your phone to A2uploader (see Tutorial on main website for how to do this) and go to tpa/presets/system/sound and drop all 3 files into this folder. If you want to keep the sound you're replacing right click on it and click 'read' this will create a folder ph_out with this file in it.4.Shut down A2uploader, switch on phone and bobs your uncle! You can also add other sounds, I created a Gavin and Stacey one here but I will happily accept requests for others.Hope this helps! Maps 3.01 crashes for me whenever I select the "Synchronise with Ovi" option. I recently upgraded the firmware in my Nokia 6220c from 3.23 to 5.15. At first I could not install Maps 3.01 through maps updater on my PC but user OviKovi kindly posted the sis file and maps, in another thread, which I installed manually on my phone. That allowed me to run Maps 3.01. The only issue I have now is that I cannot synchronise with online Ovi Maps because the phone application crashes.
When I had firmware 3.23 installed with Maps 3.01 I could synchronise. Now I can't.
