I've a mailbox (Hotmail -- marked with a '?' not a mailbox icon) that I cannot delete from the list in Messaging. I believe it a relic from where I had it setup then upgraded the software on my phone. I have Nokia Messaging Email software setup and working now and can also create and delete other mailboxes inside of the original Messaging section. I know a reformat will remove it but would rather avoid this if at all possible.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI have Nokia Messaging installed which I use primarily with my gmail account. While experimenting with adding accounts, I inadvertantly added two ovi.com accounts to the preinstalled "Messaging" application. One is listed as ovi.com and the other is listed as ovi.com01. There seems to be no way to delete or undo those accounts on the phone. At the very least, I wish to delete the ovi.com01. Does anyone have any suggestions that don't include reformatting the phone? I really don't have the time or patience for that. I've already put way too much time in removing AT&T crapware and rearranging program folders/icons.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI tried installing in vain an interesting VoIP application called spokn (http://www.spokn.com/cgi-bin/nokia.cgi) on my N97mini. As it didn't work after installation I decided to remove it.After removing it also, I see that it has not deleted Call mailbox setting that it created while installing. If I go to Settings > Calling > Call Mailbox I see account listing with , but there is no option to remove it. In the options I only see "Call internet call mailbox".How does one get rid of this please. (as this causes extra tab to be appearing in my contacts)

Connected where and how the mailbox can be deleted? There are lots of discussion of same problem but no solution (=factory reset is not solution).
All of a sudden my phone won't delete messages from my mailbox. It marks it as deleted and adds a 0 messages to the email itself, but continues to show it there and continues to show it up top as unread messages.

I can't remember when this started or what could have caused it. I have installed several leaks and am currently using .607.
View 8 Replies View RelatedWhen you want to delete an email, you usually get the 'Delete From Handheld & Mailbox', 'Delete From Handheld', or Cancel. All I get now is Delete or Cancel. My email reconciliation is set to delete on prompt, wireless reconcile is on, and on conflicts is set to mailbox wins. However, I am not being prompted. What is confusing is that on some emails it asks and on others it is not asking. I tried battery pulls, deleting and readding the email address. I only have a personal email and not business.

And also in the phone itself. Am I correct to expect that running S60 gives me a good chance of getting the free navigation upgrades that have been talked about here? I'm not in any particular hurry; but if its likely that the upgrade is not coming, then I won't have to check back here every few days. Someone posted elsewhere that upgrades (for S60 devices?) were coming "in the first half of the year". Is that just rumour, or has Nokia said something official about it?
Please is somewhere available a silent camera for Nokia 6220 Classic? This 5 mb camera is great but it makes so horrible noise that it is impossible to take great photos while e.g. my puppy starts to follow that sound and stops playing! It is no way to make this camera silent in this phone, but I know that a good program download would solve this problem. Where might I download one?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've recently updated my firmware version to 05.15, and upon starting Maps (sorry I don't know which version I have currently), I get an error saying "Cannot open application. Get latest version from nokia.com/maps". I've downloaded the appropriate file (selected using the tool on the website), but I cannot install version 3.01 as my phone will not install a .sis file. Is there a .sisx version of Maps which I'm obviously not seeing somewhere? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?

I'm not having any problems with the Yahoo email account. I've removed the email and readded it on the phone as well as on the Blackberry Internet Server website.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMaps 3.01 crashes for me whenever I select the "Synchronise with Ovi" option. I recently upgraded the firmware in my Nokia 6220c from 3.23 to 5.15. At first I could not install Maps 3.01 through maps updater on my PC but user OviKovi kindly posted the sis file and maps, in another thread, which I installed manually on my phone. That allowed me to run Maps 3.01. The only issue I have now is that I cannot synchronise with online Ovi Maps because the phone application crashes.
When I had firmware 3.23 installed with Maps 3.01 I could synchronise. Now I can't.
for some reason I am not able to set up a mailbox on my nokia 5800 smartphone , I go to messaging -options- to settings to e-mail to mailboxes. Then I've entered in the address and then password then a message is given informing me that a bookmark is added to web browser to enable e-mail use ...then I am returned to the menu.I then re-enter as above to see if a mailbox has been created.but no box is ever created.

I have two email accounts setup, and when I choose 'send' from the photos gallery, it automatically selects one. I would like to change it to use the other email account, but even though I've set the one I want to use as the 'primary' account i the email and homescreen settings, it uses the other one.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have set my company email using IMAP set up and whenever I send email from my phone a copy of the email sent is saved in the default 'Sent Items' folder. I tried selecting one of these sent email and used 'Move' option to move the email. When I click Move it shows a screen where it says 'no data'. FYI I have already updated my Server side folder list but I do not see my server side folder listed in the Move page. I am not sure if this is an issue or am I missing something?
