Video is shutting down phone after 30/40 seconds.Following has already been tried?
1. Clear data.
2. Repair phone(SE)
3.Format memory card
No success so far.
1. After the upgrade Music App which came preloaded in GB 2.3.6 is no longer available in ICS. ( i got app hellobob - member atrix 2)I purchased this mobile phone because of music clarity & superb beats which were in the music app CMP preloaded in 2.3.6. There were some disadvantages with this player but agianst sound clarity they were nothing.
2. After the upgrade Task manager app is also not available.
3. music player haas been replaced with googles glay music app (google Play) which is totally upsetting, no clarity in the sound, noisy sharp voice, no beats clarity. (nokia mobile which are within 2000rs play better than this.)
4. Unable to control the memory consumed by runnig application,. of 1 GB RAM if you continue install more app phone will start hanging beccause of you are unable to control the running process which are consuming lot of memory. This is big drawback in terms of performance of mobile.
5. No option to above in the phone settings. No of processes shifts to standad every time when you restart the phone. This setting is availble under developer option, i am not sure if this control the running apps.
6. Upon the power button press immediately open up password screen for enterprise users this is sometimes may cause problem if user keeping mobile pocket & get keys preseed automatically, or keys pressed by kids or friends not knowing the password. Additionaly no of attemps remaining is not displaying, earlier used to display the same. This is really big drawback - as entire phone data will be erased including data on SD card.
7. Vibration control features are not available.There are some more important basic simple phone features in terms of user options ( accessbility) missing in motorola atrix 2 (may be other motorola phones as well) - major drawback - which I shall open another thread to discuss the same. This features I had in my Nokia 6233 which I had purchased 6 years back (might have been designed 7yrs back). That was just an 7 MB ROM mobile. These missing features really making me unhappy with Atrix 2/Motorola.
I've had my 1020 for less than a week, and love it, but can't figure out how to post my video recordings to facebook.

I performed a software upgrade two days ago to version 4.6.0.303 and now my battery drains within a few hours. The phone was on charge overnight on Thursday, for example. I took it off charge at about 9am and by 1pm, with virtually zero use, the battery was drained. The phone goes in to standby no problem. This morning I took it off charge at 9am and by 1130am the battery is 50% drained.

View 9 Replies View RelatedAfter ICS update (4.0.4) on Xperia Pro my recorded video turns out laggy and skips. Things I've tried: Factory Reset on the phone Repair using Update service. I can disable video stabilization which reduces the lags and skips a bit, but it is still noticeable and does qualify as a workaround because the issue still persists and I would like stabilization. My LED only lights up when I connect the micro USB cable, is this normal? (I just got my phone and instantly upgraded to ICS so I don't know what it's supposed to do.)

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter last system upgrade, my xperia ray's video camera is not working properly. It now records in 16/9 instead of 4/3 (Letter box) and I would be glad it would work fine but since then, videos are not recorded correctly. Image is not continuous, but it shifts randomly as it wouldn't be able to record without stopping. That gives poorer videos than with previous version. Other problem I have is that welcoming message is displayed twice when phone is starting.

Upgraded my Xperia Ray to ICS last night and when I went to test the face unlock, it only prompted to take a picture with the rear camera.Also the phone camera shows the same screen, without the icon to switch to the rear camera.

Lately I noticed that when I take simple picture it is wide (not zoomed) but when I click record video it will instantly zoom a bit ( maby about 2Ocm) but it's clearly seen. For example when I take a picture of box and edges of it are close to edges of the phone screen then when I hit record video it will zoom and edges of box will be outside sight of the camera. Then you have to take one step back to be able to film whole box. Of course you can only zoom in during filming, You can't zoom out. When I hit stop record the screen will zoom out and you can take shot normal picture with whole box. My friend who has Z1 got the same issue. Is it normal? Because Samsung s5 or other phones which I used did not have such a problem.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy brand new iphone 4s has been shutting down all by itself whenever I try to take a video on the camera app. It is not the battery, my battery is charged, and it only happens when using the camera app. I can take pictures and my phone will stay on, but whenever I take videos it turns off. Does anyone know why this happens or what I should do about it?

Yesterday i updated my phone to android 2.1 through pc companion and it took almost half an hour. It was a success but when i switched it on, after sony ericsson written on it, it shows a camera logo sitting on top of a logo of the phone with an arrow pointing towards the phone, somethin like this: the arrow was glowing, i think it was to do something with the camera. I couldn't figure it out and after about 3-4 minutes, it booted up and the phone started. After that when i opened the camera, i found out that the picture was too much pixelated and bad quality even worse than before the update. i tried shooting some video in HD mode, the video also was too bad quality.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen shooting with the camera of my xperia mini, sometimes the image hangs for 2 or 3 seconds, and then continues to shoot normally. Random hangings happen here and then. I suspect it has to do with the focusing function, or maybe some applications working in the background. This happens even when there are not much application working in the background.

I mean by "video call" real video call, not call using internet network (over WIFI or 3G) that needs special application on both mobile phone (google talk, face time).
Video calls allows to call any mobile phone. These feature was a standard before android. My old Nokia supports it. So why SE android phones doesn't support it whereas Samsung allows it? Moreover, if video call are not supported front camera is useless whereas nearly all old 3G phones can uses video call.
