when I SMS then I find Sound Recorder from Add Sound option in my XPERIA X10 Mini, but is there any way to record a sound separately, because if it can only happen for SMS then it is so odd, and if not separate sound recording option is not available then what is the best application for this.

I realise I can now change to full silent mode from the lock screen with the volume button, but i thought it would be an option to put into smart connect as a selection.

Having problems with the sound quality of their video recordings?I have a lot of background noise even in the quietest of rooms.I exchanged my Galaxy S5 after a week because everyone kept saying I sounded muffled and my voicemail sounded muffled too. Verizon swapped me into a new S5 and although the sound of my voice and voicemail are better, the video recording sounds are horrible. If the subject is talking it the background noise takes away from the voice. in a quiet room, still noise even though there is no fan or a/c going and windows are closed. I have enabled the noise reduction in the call sound setting.

I shot an hour's worth of clips during which I tested and heard the sound being recorded. When I went to upload it to my computer, there was no sound. Pics are good. Looking at the original clips still on my iphone, and there's no sound. I tried to record another video clip as a test and it has no sound. Whenever I try to record audio during some of my office meetings, the recording is automatically getting paused after 3 - 4 minutes. I need to click on "record" to cotinue again. If i try to record a session of 45 minutes..probably 7 to 8 times i need to check my mobile to see whether it is recording or already paused and if already paused i need to click on record to continue. Do i need to modify any settings so that the recording will continue without automatically pausing.

Since that discovery I usually record one of two songs of a show I visit as a souvenir. I was disappointed upon purchase of 808 to find that no such option existed.I would like to request Nokia to consider releasing a software update that allows users to turn off the shutter sound either as a setting or when phone is in silent mode. This was what Sony Ericsson did for its K700i model many years ago.There is a need to consider the varied needs of users eg the need not to awaken the baby when getting a shot.
