When open the 60 FPS video recording option, the camera app easily crash when switching the function option (such as switch from video to picture). is it the hardware problem or the software problem?

After updating to ICS my camera app crashes when I start video recording
System version: 672.180.33.XT910.Retail.en.EU
Everytime i try and open the camera app it just crashes, it doesnt show anything on the screen it just goes straight back to the home screen. I'm not able to use the camera in any application either. I've tried pressing on the rear camera and that hasn't worked yet. i have factory reset it and restored it many times. I took it to my verizon store.

i believe i found a bug with 3.1. videocamera pauses while video recording when a live paper is being used when wallpaper is just a picture than it works properly.

I shot an hour's worth of clips during which I tested and heard the sound being recorded. When I went to upload it to my computer, there was no sound. Pics are good. Looking at the original clips still on my iphone, and there's no sound. I tried to record another video clip as a test and it has no sound. Is there a setting for sound which I am missing or is there something wrong with the microphone.

I have brought this new N97. the camera does not work sometimes when ever i open the lens cover the screen appears blank and infact the videos in my mobile phone also does not play, only the sound is heard. I have to do the Factory Reset then only it works fine and resetting it works for few time and the problem occurs again. I Can't keep on resetting the phone again and again it has the latest software update V20.

View 10 Replies View RelatedWhen recording video using the back camera on snapchat the recording is extremely laggy beyond being watchable and the processed video is still laggy and the quality is significantly lower than the display. This is using the standard video quality in the snapchat settings although the lag remains even on lower quality settings. The front facing 'selfie' camera however is fine.
This issue only occurrs using snapchat, recording with the back camera on the default camera app on the htc one is fine so is this an issue on snapchat's part or is something wrong with my camera?
That's one problem with my cam: when recording video on flash card there are some delays in picture changing and the image become smooth and then divide into squares?how can i solve this bug?ps: everything is ok when i record on the phone memory!
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am having two problems with Nokia Camera on my Icon. When recording a video in Nokia Camera. I have found that it isn't recording sound.When recording a video in Nokia Camera, it takes about 5 seconds after hitting the record button for it to actually start recording.
I am not sure how to replicate the issue because it has only happened a few times and it will fix itself by restarting the phone.
When it does happen it will happen every time I record a video through Nokia Camera until a reboot. I at least now figured out that if I hit record and there is a delay between it actually starting to record, then the sound will not be recorded so a restart is necessary.
I can still record through the WP camera app and audio will be recorded, but this is a huge problem for me. I have about 5 videos that I have taken in the past week that were actually pretty important that have no sound now.
I uninstalled Nokia Camera and reinstalled and it still did it. Is this a Nokia Camera bug or an Icon bug?
I just bought a SAmsung galaxy S 6 smartphone. While I am recording a video i cannot by any means change the camera to front facing.There is no option no icon only the capture icon on the left (in order to capture in a pic what i am shooting at the moment), the square icon to stop the video and the pause icon on the right corner.

I've tried everything. I have a video made on my phone of a wedding...only ~5-10 minutes. At any rate I cannot figure out how to get it off my phone & to my PC. I copy via camera/scanner & after ~10 minutes get an error that states it could not copy .my photos work fine. I've tried to view the video via Quick Time (latest version) & it states that the .Mov file is not something Quick time understands.what's up? How can move the file from my phone to PC?

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy camera randomly lost the option to take videos recently (when I press the 4 circles in the corner of the camera screen, I only get the Camera or Selfie option, and the gallery preview square beside the shutter button has gone too). Also, after each photo, I get a tick or an arrow at the bottom, the arrow deletes the picture and lets you take another, the tick saves the picture and exits the app. Every time. This is no good if I am taking more than one picture.
I have just today upgraded to 5.0 Lollipop, and factory reset the phone, no joy in either case, but upon entering the app just once I got some funky photo booth option and another one too. Have booted it up in safe mode and the video options return, but after deleting any and all recently downloaded (since January) apps, nothing is bringing back the functionality.
I did an update and it no longer has the option to take a video or Zoe. It just has the option for selfie or Video?
I found i can download a 3rd part camcorder but that sucks. ALSO, I found that when i take a picture with the stock app it shows a check and when i click it it saves the picture and shuts the apps.

If I receive a call during recording a video, the video gets lost. Can I change settings or is there any solution to save the video before accepting the call? Or is it simply a flaw in the software that the video is not saved automatically?

I have my iphone connected to my exchange server and everytime I try to open an attachment the mail app crashes.I also noticed that if I try to do the automatic scroll to the top my tapping the date in the mail app that doesnt work either.Just trying to see if anybody else is having the same issue and if there is a fix.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a Galaxy S6 edge on T-Mobile and juts noticed this morning that whenever I attempt to record a video I get a warning stating "The video codec is currently being used by other applications..."
Is it possible to determine which application has it in use? I've closed all running applications which didn't resolve the problem. Restarted the phone without starting any other applications before the camera and that failed. I'm not seeing any information about this issue in the couple of searches I've done so far but wonder if it's an isolated issue or something common.
Short of a Factory Reset, which I'm not fully opposed to doing, is there a potential solution?
I have an iPhone 4 16GB running on the latest update (5.1). It is after this update when the problem occured, The crash lasts about 10 seconds and resets to the login screen after showing a black screen with a small spining circle of lines in the center. A temporary fix is to put the phone into airplane mode to prevent crashing however this is not optimal. It also crashes running other apps but only about 1/10 of my apps, so that is bearable.
